does this still work for 0% categories like Video Games Consoles & Accessory?

    • +2

      No

    • +1

Per GYB’s notes from this deal, 0% categories have always been excluded, unless this has changed recently

Items/Categories that receive 0% Cashback will not receive Bonus Cashback.

I guess I’m not being liked around :’(

To save everyone time, movies/games/toys is 0%

Useless as always with all Amazon 0% categories. Very disappointing.

Coles 15% for new user only?

    Hoyts Tickets*: Adult $10

Says only if you buy 2x Westpac exclusive but they are sold out?

    • Exactly. Moot deal

  • Hoyts tickets are sold out, anyone know when they are coming back?

    • Think we will have to keep checking or PM the rep.

    • +1

      Back in stock now!

  • I might be the only person who got the hoyts tickets…and cashback has already been confirmed.

Looks like a glitch because my app is saying there is only 371 participants rigfht now

  • Which category do kettles fall into for Amazon? assuming it's one of those 0% categories..

    @gotyourback

please confirm this https://www.ozbargain.com.au/comment/14255285/redir. Also need clarification if Coles offer is targeted to new customers or includes everyone.

    • Also need clarification if Coles offer is targeted to new customers or includes everyone.

15% for new customers + bonus 15% for Westpac customers

      • I understand the base 15% cashback is for new Coles customers and doesn't require Westpac card. What I can't work out is whether the Westpac bonus 15% is also for new customers only. Normally the Westpac bonuses apply as long as a base cashback applies. So as Coles has a base cashback of 0.5% (1% for Coles Plus member) I think the 15% Westpac bonus should apply to existing Coles customers?

        • yes :)

          • @tonester: Appreciate your response in agreement. But I'm really hoping the Shopback rep will respond to scrimshaw's message to confirm and/or clarify as required.

    • +2

Hey mate, can confirm that 0% categories are currently still not eligible for Bonus Cashback, however it is something we are hoping can be possible soon.

Westpac Bonus Cashback for Coles is eligible for both new and existing customers, only the case rate changes there.

      • +1

        @tbone74 FYI :)

  • I am confused.
    It is written
    Buy 1 get 1 free
On the other side it is saying spend $20 and get
    $10 bonus.

So it means, I need to buy 2 ticket of $10 and I will get 4 tickets and a $10 bonus. Is that right?

  • Now it's just taking me to purchase gift card instead of tickets.
Not sure what is going on

    • Hoyts deal already sold out a while ago

  • Does anyone think the coles, existing customers, paying with partly FlyPay (to use $50 worth of flybuys points) and paying the other part with Westpac debit would still work? Wanting to maximise using my flybuys whilst trying to hit the 15% cashback..

  • Says there’s still 1000 rewards for the Hoyts deal and only 763 participants?

  • Based on the t&c of min $20, I bought 2*$11 and $10 cashback is tracked.

    Terms and conditions
Receive $10 bonus Cashback from ShopBack purchase 2 or more $10 HOYTS/Westpac exclusive adult movie tickets in one or across multiple transactions on via the Westpac Lounge in the ShopBack app using an eligible Westpac card ($20 or more must be charged to your card to qualify) between 6th September 2023 8.00am AEST and 19th September 2023 11.59pm AEST (unless the offer is modified, extended or terminated prior).

The $10 tix are back in stock

    • mate for $2 some people will rip your hair out for less :D

  • +2

$10 tickets now back in stock - 101/1000 rewards claimed :)

  • Is the hoyts offer limited to 1 per account so max i will get 2 tickets for $5 each and rest will be $10?

  • Looking at a Bluetooth Digital Scale which shows to be under Health, Household & Personal Care in Amazon, but ShopBack categories are Health & Household 0%, Personal Care Appliances 3.5%. Any way to be certain which category the the scales will track in SB?

  • So many exclusions for Amazon 10%…..

  • Anybody had experience using Coles for Shopback cashback before, where the Coles order changes due to item being out of stock? I don't do many online orders with Coles but pretty much always there is something out of stock.

I'm wondering whether this change in the order will result in cashback being invalidated? Standard T&C's usually state cancelled or changed orders invalidate the cashback. @gotyourback can you comment on what would happen in this situation?

    • +2

Hey there mate, good question. Had a look at Coles' terms on our website, they list that "Final cashback amount will reflect modified orders and out of stock items. Cashback is only valid on final invoiced amount." This means that any amendments that need to be made by Coles won't result in failed tracking, but may impact the tracked amount should items be refunded/swapped.

      • Thanks for that.

So using yesterdays promo as an example, if I originally placed a $100 order but some items were cancelled and the total reduced to $90, I should receive 15% cashback on $90. But I wouldn't qualify for the current challenge of spend $100 get $10 bonus cashback (unless I place another order of $10 as that challenge allows the required spend across multiple transactions).

        • That's a really good question, I'm not too sure how the back-end works there, so let me take a quick look and get back to you.

          • @gotyourback: I have the exact same problem, I ordered $110+ worth of stuff, but the order turned out to be below $100

My shopback app says that I have already completed the $10 off $100.

  • I made a Coles purchase and only got 3% bonus westpac cashback..There were both 15% and 3% sitting in my westpac lounge at the time. Anyone else?

    • Me too

    • Same here, not sure if I should raise a dispute

    • +1

Hey mates, let me get the team on this for you, no need to raise it just yet, I'll see if I can just get it fixed up from my end.

      • Me too :(

      • Thanks, plz keep us updated.

  • Update 13 Sep:
    Tickets are available again

Used the mobile app to buy 2x $10 tickets this morning with my Westpac card.
After the transaction was made, the challenge bar remained empty and the shop now button was still showing.
But after 2 min, the app showed 'Challenge completed' and the $10 cashback was tracked.

    • I can’t see the challenge - would you happen to have the direct link? or is it over now?

      • On the Shopback Home page, you can click on Westpac Lounge, then scroll down to see Hoyts buy 1 free 1 challenge
Can't see if still in stock on my end, but it does say 'Ends in 6 days'. Try have a look?

        • +1

Thanks @carbonman - I checked my Westpac lounge and couldn’t see this particular challenge. I may have missed it - I can see the $10 ticket though
