    Anyone tried using more than one sticky special per transaction for the same product? e.g. If I want to buy two Helgas bread for $2.50 each, can I just scan the sticker twice, or do I have to do two transactions? Ugh..

      The conditions on the stickers are "A sticker can only be used once."
      So if you buy two items and only have one sticker then one is at full price, no matter how many transactions you do.

        Yes, but what if you get two stickers (either photocopy / get a second catalogue / scan the sticker twice without attaching to the product), does the system say "hey, you can only use this barcode once per transaction, nice try bud" or does it go through?

      I see it as a good tool for price discrimination in that those who really want the discount will take the time to put stickers on, while a lot of people won't be aware of a discount, forget, or couldn't be bothered and that's just more money to Woolies for a product they were going to purchase anyway.

      Having said that, as a customer used to not having to do this extra work for discounts we were previously getting for no additional work, and making purchases of 1+ of the same item more complicated (I like to stock up on things when they're on special as I imagine a lot of people would on here…) it's a stupid time-consuming idea and I hope it backfires badly…

      Also what if you live in an area with unreliable junk mail delivery (I got the catalogue this week but not the two weeks previous), you have to go to the shop and hope they have catalogues left because the stickers aren't listed with the online catalogue… just no..
