I was going to mention this! Don't usually get Heinz but did get the reduced sugar/salt one recently and it tasted way sweeter than even the normal Fountain tomato sauce.

Is this the best tomato sauce in Australia?
Probably a super unpopular opinion, but I think Watties from NZ tastes much better!
Our local coles stocks it, thought I'd give it a go, and now I can't go back.
Everything in that thread about tomato sauce not having vinegar, or having more tomatoes/being healthier, or ketchup having a lot more sugar, is 100% wrong.
When it comes to what we call tomato sauce in Australia, there is virtually no difference to the basic ingredients nor the proportions of them.
Masterfoods Tomato Sauce: 79% tomatoes, sugar, salt, vinegar, onion, spice extract…24.5g sugar/100mL.
Fountain Tomato Sauce: 78% tomatoes, sugar, salt, vinegar, flavours…24.9g sugar/100mL.
Heinz Tomato Ketchup: 77% tomatoes, sugar, salt, vinegar, flavours, citric acid…25.3g sugar/100mL.
Coles Tomato Sauce: 77% tomatoes, sugar, salt, vinegar, flavours…24.9g sugar/100mL.
Rosella Tomato Sauce: 76% tomatoes, sugar, salt, vinegar, citric acid, flavours…22.6g sugar/100mL.
Heinz tastes the way it does because its Heinz, not that it says ketchup on the label. Pick which recipe you like the taste of best, but its the same thing, sorry.
I'd argue that Heinz Organic is slightly better than the original, but its become very hard to find. As long as we're placing Fountain dead last I'm on board. :)

It's been 22 years and I still can't get used to the upside down bottles.
I thought Amazon only matched the duopoly using s&s these days, not beat it. $4.50/L is good.
