Quick FAQ

Q: Can I pay using Flybuys Dollars and/or Gift Cards as the payment method?
A: Yes. However, do not accept the instant 2000 points for $10 off, unless you are more than $10 over the min spend amount. Ref. Edit 2/2: I accepted the instant 2000 points for $10 off, on a $55 shop, bringing it down to $45. It still registered week 2 shop on my receipt, although the app only shows $45 spend. So it seems like it actually is okay.

Q: My offer has disappeared in week 2/3/4.
A: It is normal, it should reappear Tuesday or Wednesday. Check on your receipt from last week and it will confirm that you completed that week's spend. Ref.

Q: I didn't receive my points after week 4 ended?
A: Contact Flybuys with a copy of all your receipts from each week.

Q: Does this stack with other bonus points offers, eg '5x points on biscuits' or '500 points if you buy x product'.
A: Yes, unless the other bonus points offer has the following clause in its terms and conditions: This offer is not in conjunction with any other bonus points offers.

Q: Should I choose 'Points' or '$50 off'?
A: Points. See here.

Haven't had a good one of these for ages, now I'm back to the $50/wk. Wooooo

  • +2

Found this offer in FlyBuys as well which is decent:

    COLES 5 days left
Collect 80x points on Kleenex Facial Tissues.

    • I got 50x points on selected Streets Magnum, Paddle Pop, Golden Gaytime and Calippo.

      • Nice. Only Golden Gaytime on special, but it would make those below half price after 50x points (25% off equiv.).

        • +1

Mines still got 12 days left, and given they usually go half-price every second week I might hold off.

  • +5

    Omg. I got $110 booooooo

    • +1

      MeToo $110

  • +2

I got 60 on one and 70 on one. The 70 is a double up with 10 off an online shop of 100.

    • +2

Stop spending and they will give you more value next time.

      • I'm not sure that right
        I was always $50
        Then $60
I would ensure I wouldn't go over that amount by max dollar or two.
I haven't had one of these 'spend per 4 week' deals offered to me since Oct
        Which was $70

Now I'm at $80 and the last time I shopped at Coles was $60

        • had the $50x4 for 10000 points offers 3 or 4 times last year, alway made sure that I spend only just over $50 each week.

This is the 1st similar offer for 2025, also have a $70 for 2000 points offer expires tomorrow which I would probably stack up

  • +1

    Decent.

  • I got $100 same as last one

  • now that Coles have pulled knives from their shelves, how can we redeem the knife credits from that Baccarat promotion?

    • +3

“SMEG kitchen knives will still be available for redemption at our service desk, until January 21.

    • +1

mostly out of stock for redeem anyway?

  • +2

    didnt receive anything,boo!

    • close the app and try again.

  • +3

skipped the last one which was 60 for me, now it's back down to 50 yay

  • +1

Mine is $190 ouch, but my offer is 20,000 points.

I am glad I saw this post as I was going to do my online shopping today. Will wait until tomorrow now.

  • +10

    Mine was $70.
Flybuys is annoying making us spend $70 in a single shop, rather than the total cost of the transactions over the week like Woolies does.

  • 60 booo. Thanks OP

  • 70 on one account
    Will check other phone later…

  • fark who does this always happen when i'm going on holidays?

    • how long are you gone for? Can you get someone else to do the shop for one of the weeks?

    • Username checks out :P
Maybe a bit topical atm but I think Opal topups still work if you could get someone to do that

      • +1

Yeah I always use the Opal method with these promos, but this time I have no one to do it for me while I'm away.

  • yay, both hubby and I got the $50 one…last time only one of us did and sometimes neither of us get it…..used to be a regular thing every time for me

    • +5

      Back in your cave.

      • -3

        The truth hurts.

  • I got $280 for 10K points

  • mine was decreased from 170 to 100 now as i ignored the previous offer of $170

  • +2

Wait for Fri/Tue for potential double dip offers

  • I got $110. No thanks.

  • mine $130/$180 for 10,000 or 20,000 have to wait some more lol

  • Ooft, no offer for me at all

  • +1

$80. My last one was $50. Woolworths keep sending me things like 2000 points for a $180 spend (which I ignore).

  • $100 here

  • +1

Got $50x4 for 10,000pts - something decent for a change from Flybuys, Rewards wants to give me 3200pts for spending $60x4 lol

  • What's everybody's take on what is the better option? The points or the cash?

    • +7

Points. You can redeem them for Flybuy Dollars and use them when or as you want over multiple shops and not just at Coles. With the $50 off, you have to use it at Coles and in 1 shop, so minimum spend $50.05. Also only 30 days to use it if I read the terms correctly.

$50 discount will be loaded to your Flybuys card after your week 4 qualifying shop and can't be used against your week 4 shop. $50 discount is valid for 30 days from date of issue. $50 discount will be automatically redeemed the first time $50.05 is spent and your Flybuys card is used after your week 4 qualifying shop.

      • Copy that, points it is!

      • "Points"
        Great pickup Thanks :)

  • Spend $210 over multiple transactions to collect 5,000 bonus points
    or
spend $300 over multiple transactions to collect 10,000 bonus points instead
    or
spend $420 over multiple transactions to collect 20,000 bonus points instead.

    I got fisted

    • Spend $420 for 20,000 points is awesome!

      • I can smoke 420 but not sure about spending that much. How much is 20k points work

        • $100, given 200 FB points = $1

    • Okay rip about the values but how do you get multiple transactions for Coles I'd love that lol

  • get $100 Coles Prepaid Mastercards then shop with them

    • +3

Better to use those Prepaid cards to pay bills and use discounted Coles gift cards to pay for your Coles shop instead. Or use prepaid cards to buy the discounted Coles gift cards if possible, eg on Shopback.

  • +1

I got spend $80, will definately be doing it.

  • I don't get Coles algorithm

    I was always 4 x $50
    Then it went to 4 x $60
I would ensure I wouldn't go over that amount by max dollar or two.
I haven't had one of these 'spend per 4 week' deals offered to me since Oct 2024
    Which was a 4x $70 and I didn't shop

Now I got it offered to me today and I'm at $80 and the last time I shopped at Coles was the last deal I got offered at $60

So I don't know what Coles algorithm actually is

    • Do you keep your Coles shopping spend low on a week to week basis, ie not just during the 4 x $x deals? My spend is quite variable, but probably averages around $80/week, and I got a 4 x $110 offer.

      • +2

I don't shop at Coles on a week to week basis, not at all

On a 4 x $50 spend I will do maximum $51-$52 etc, as close as possible to the minimum requirement.

I haven't shopped at Coles since Sept last year

  • +2

    $50 offer again.
To keep this low amount I keep my between offers shops at under $52.
If I have to spend more , such as Christmas, I don't scan the card.
If you do any large shops that'd the amount they ask you to spend each week to get the 10000 points

    • Same. I keep it interested with the occasional milk and bread purchase that’s about it. Nothing over $50

    • I only shop at Coles when there is a deal like this, other than the rare occasion I'll run in for milk or something and I got the $80 offer.

      • I don't shop at Coles unless it's a 4 x $spend deal

Haven't been targeted since October last year and that was 4 x $70, which I didn't shop

Up from the usual $50/$60, that I used to get before, it's now 4 x$80

        • Did you activate the 4 x $70 offer in October?

          • @Chris T: I think I did activate
            But never actually spent anything

Haven't shooed at Coles since it was 4 x $60

            • +2

@Spending2Much: I have a suspicion that to get these offers to come back down to a reasonable spend level ($50/week), you need to not activate them, rather than activate and then fail to shop.

              • @Chris T: I'll try that
I'll ignore all others until it comes down again

I only shop at Coles on a decent flybuys offer

  • +1

I have a spend $60 in one shop and get 2000 points. Plus spend $50 each week for 4 weeks. The dates overlap. Anyone have experience as to whether 1 shop will complete both in the same week?

  • -2

    Spend 50 get 10,000 points x23
    Spend 60 get 10,000 points x4
    Spend 180 get 20,000 points x1

    • 23?

      • I believe they’re saying they’ve got these offers x amount of times.

  • I got $60

  • +1

I got $230 and I rarely even shop at coles. If I do, its usually only 100-150 max. Shit job marketing team.

  • Damn, up to $80 now from $70 last time…

  • I got spend $70 for 4 weeks to get 10,000 points.

Woolies only gives me 3200 points for 4 weeks spending of $60 to get 3,200 points.

    Bye bye Woolies.

  • $120 on main and $50 on my partners

  • +1

Mine is $60 for the first time. I even missed the last one ($50/week) being overseas, yet they bumped it up. Well, that's inflation for you.

  • +1

    I got $50x4!

  • $704 and $804
No $50 as I've been using Flybuys offers due to lack of Everyday Rewards offers…

    • Get more accounts and do not spend more than $50 on each one per week.

  • $100 for me 😔

    • +2

$110 for me… time to boycott

And no upvote from me, thanks.

  • +2

with current prices all you need to buy is a packet of chips and some coke and should hit the mark easy

    • Coles orange juice was $5.5 a week or two ago and now is $6. New year inflation? Nearly 10% increasing.

  • +1

I bought too much booze from coles online over the break. Now its $130. Might have to de-link flybuys from my coles online account.

  • Where on the app should it be?
Maybe I have nothing or maybe I don’t know where its hidden…
    Please help xo

    • +1

I just go to "collect", find the deal, and activate it.

  • +1

    Boooo. I need tomspend $80/week!
Quite impossible for 2 oldies :-(

  • +2

Got $60 on this offer after completing the previous one at $50. Need to stock up a little on laundry and cleaning supplies so will activate this one. Will see if they bump me up to $70 next offer like what happened the last time I completed a $60 one.

  • Are sim cards considered eligible purchases?

    • Yes.

      • The POS categorises them as gift cards when scanning now though. Have you tried before and was ok?

        • +1

Approx 6mnths ago purchased 3 Boost starter packs and nothing else, it qualified.

Untested by me but someone I know also qualifed an FB offer by buying recharge credit, that was about 10mnths ago.

        • +2

Yes ever since they have scanned as category Gift Cards they still count towards Spend $X Offers. I personally purchased some in the last Spend $X Each Week for 4 Weeks Offer a couple of months ago.

    1. $50/weekly for 4 weeks => 10,000 points
    2. $100/weekly for 4 weeks => 10,000 points
    3. $70/weekly for 4 weeks => 10,000 points
    4. $130/weekly for 4 weeks => 10,000 points or $180/weekly for 4 weeks for 20,000 points

    I will only try the $50/weekly for 4 weeks => 10,000 points

  • "Eligible online orders must be placed and delivered or collected within the weekly dates to qualify"

Does it mean that I cannot place the order online on the weekends and collect it on Mondays?

    • +2

Nope. If you do, then you are not counted for the offer. Your offer needs to be delivered within the week

  • -1

I activated this offer and completed the week 1 shop, but now the offer seems to have disappeared from my app? Anyone else?

    • +1

See the quick FAQ I made in the OP.

Q: My offer has disappeared in week 2/3/4.
A: It is normal, it should reappear Tuesday or Wednesday. Check on your receipt from last week and it will confirm that you completed that week's spend. Ref.

      • +1

Thank you for that, had me in a bit of a panic for a second

  • Wk 1. Done and got congratulations on the docket.
Wk 2. No congratulations, purchased again and the same. Even base points not awarded in the flybuy app after 48 hours. But got a new fuel offer in both occasions.

Can confirm I have spent above the target amount.

Anyone else in the same boat?

    • +1

My week 2 worked ok.. going for week 3 tomorrow.

Does your receipt not show some text that you completed week 2?

      • Nope. I was expecting it but it didn't.
