One store near me doesn't say no stock, but I am unable to check out as website keeps saying having issue validating trolley.

I went to three stores in Melbourne - Caulfield Village, Elsternwick and Balaclava, no stock or even sticker in any. Spoke to a guy in the Elsternwick store as the app said it was available for 'click and collect'. He said he hasn't seen these and there wasn't a sticker/place for them. Pissed with the app to suggest you can buy a product as click and collect and they don't even stock it at the store!!
Seems its available in Malvern.. 2 comments mentioned that although its listed at 9 it rang up at 1$

Just doing my click and collect now. If you choose to allow substitutions, do you have to accept the substitution they choose? I’m not concerned what they sub the nuts with, but I’m thinking more the othe items in my cart.
I think you do. Better to not allow substitutions for the items you don’t want to.

I ordered cc last night however no sub being cancelled wondering if I don’t collect, will I get refund automatically?
Think you have to ring and cancel else you may get hit with a cancellation fee.
“If we don't hear from you in time, you will be charged a cancellation fee. This is so we can return the uncollected items to the shelves in a timely manner and keep all produce fresh.”
Thanks for your advice, actually I went and collected the order little bit over time frame, guess what, they had completed the order and marked order as collect before I arrived. Scam!

Great price but these are basically just peanuts. Almost no cashews whatsover.
I just got confirmation of my click and collect. They substituted all 12 of my 800g bags for:
3x coles roasted salted cashews 750g
9x coles roasted salted cashews 400g
WTF?
Edit "Packed in Australia from less than 10% Australian ingredients" Lol.
Return the 400g and say that it doesn't meet your substituted requirements.
I'd still rather 400g for $1 than returning them but I will question why I couldn't have 12 750g - I'm reasonable and willing to play ball and take the 50g hit :D
You still got a good deal even on 400g, but if you can squeeze them to give you some more, then why not.
Probably only had 3 of the 750g ones in stock.

Think it’s like 3/4 peanuts 1/4 cashews. From memory it’s on the ingredients (something like 74% peanuts, 22% cashews, 4% salt/flavourings)

Haha my local got OzBargained. There was about 15 packs each of the Smokey BBQ and the Korean BBQ nuts this morning, shelf price $9 but scanning at $1. I bought one pack of the Smokey.
Just swung by again after work and they are all gone. Shelf still says $9 each.
4 bags all substituted with “Coles Roasted & Salted Peanuts 800g” kind of a downgrade but honestly I eat a lot of salted peanuts so can’t complain.
They did the same with my 8 bags, picking up this evening

I got subbed 12x of the regular saltedpeanut and cashews but the c&c girl said that the subbed nuts are $5 per bag and that i'll be charged after the fact..
Is this anyone elses experience?
This is why I don't allow subs, cos I fear they'll give me crap and make me pay for it.

To follow up - It seems to be all good as my coles online invoice states the 12 subbed nuts are $9 but I'm being charged $1 as per the original item
I also orded 12x of the korean, which were not subbed and have since been refunded via paypal - good result
There is some incongruency between c&c staff and coles online
