Then buy it if you don’t want to spend more.
It will do one job great and one job meh.
Any deals for laptops :( what happened to all the dell deals
1440p at 32-inches - yikes. I guess it's fine for gaming if you have a low end graphics card but for productivity and just general use or if you have a decent GPU, you want 4K. I cant go back to 1440p after using 4k monitors for the last 3-4 years.
Same. Texts are just blurry. I dont know why some people say theres no diff between 1440 and 4k. Its i the pixel density! :-)
I’m getting old and have to turn up the scaling for 4K, can’t read anything.
Windows scaling still sucks. I prefer 1440p because Windows stays scaled at 100%
I scale too both in mac and windows still miles better than native 1440.
Cant go back to 1440 much less 1080 for productivity.
I always love claims like this……… 24" 1080p is the same pixel density as 32" 1440p, and I've never seen any readability issues on any half decent 24" FHD monitor I've had over the years. 4K will obviously look better but there's nothing wrong with the DPI of a 32" 1440p monitor
Like what you said, 4K will obviously look better.
@JsonDough: Unlike what you said, 1440 won't be blurry
@dav3: Not sure what you on mate. Lol.
To the one that negged me. Lol
https://thedigitalfill.com/read-text-4k-monitor/#:~:text=Act….
I am using a 24" 1080 right now beside 27" 1440. The difference is night and day. 32" with the same density as the 1080? No thanks that would look horrible.
@Robbo89: Once you see how good it is in motion handling and games you will never go back to anything else
This is a 10bit 165Hz IPS Monitor that has one of the best LG panels around for gaming its at the top in performance
1440P is perfect for 32".. text is sharp and you never need to adjust any revolution settings ever.. i have two of these and love them
@vid_ghost: I already have 2 27" 144hz screens. Going bigger with lower pixel density aint it because not everyone only plays games.
If I only played games I'd probably buy this right now.
Also saying text is sharp is a lie if it is the same pixel density as a 1080 24".
@Robbo89: I use these for work CAD Design… text is sharp.. i don't need to zoom in and out all the time.. like i used to with smaller screens. I've used 27" 1440p and 4k 28" .. These two 32" screens make my work so much easier
@Robbo89: What is your viewing distance from the 24"? Curious because I've never felt like mine is blurry or horrible compared to my 27" 1440p. Noticeable, sure, but differences are always apparent when you have things side by side.
Even mid range GPUs aren't really enough for 4K 120 Hz so chances are most people will notice the performance degradation before the resolution benefits in games. Maybe in a generation or two it'll make sense as a gaming resolution.
Do they use DHL as the courier or someone else? Cheers
The last time I bought from Dell, they used StarTrack (Auspost’s Couriers).
Startrack for all our dell orders at work
Mine was also via Startrack
Thanks guys. It is easier to arrange pick up if I'm not home.
If I hook up this monitor to my desktop and my peripherals to the screen would it work? Reason I ask is to for smooth transition to my work laptop screen
I believe the peripherals would only work when you are connected via USB-C. You would have to swap the USB-C cable between your desktop and your work laptop to make that work.
Also this review says the USB-C only supplies 15W which is would not be enough to power your laptop.
Yep, I got one of these. The monitor itself is great, however 15w isn't enough to be able to charge a laptop and use it for work so normal power supply is still required.
As trongy mentioned, if you want a all-in-one solution between your PC and this, it's either swap cables each time, or use an adapter (in my case, my PC doesn't have Type C, so I use a single ~3m long Type C PD cable to my Mac for work, then I have a type C to type A little dongle that I plug the Type C cable into on my PC so the peripherals carry over that I have connected via USB to the monitor.)
The better solution is find a monitor that has BOTH a USB B style port AND a type C. So the Type B is always plugged straight into your desktop/home machine, and type C just for laptop.
Unless both your machines have Type C then just swap cable each time.
I use this to switch between laptop and desktop. Really made my life so easy, no more fumbling in the dark.
+1 - these USB switch boxes are awesome. I use DP to my gaming/personal PC and then USB-C for my work laptop. I press a button on the USB switch and my keyboard, mouse and webcam switch over…
If anyone can suggest 43 4k or 32 2k?
Currently having 43 4k and thing to replace with two 32 2k..is it a good idea?
Do you think you're missing anything with your current screen? I would just stick with what you have as it's probably a good screen. 4k is a much better resolution for normal use in terms of browsing, media consumption, gaming etc. Only would be worth considering if your current screen doesn't have high refresh rate like these ones and you want it for gaming.
2x 32 @2k .is better then 1x 43" 4k as its to large of a screen.. I've used both setups
I can see that Dell 34 Monitor - S3422DWG also comes down to $516.27 using the same discount code.
$303.85 if you have access to EPP
https://webapp.dell.epsilon.com/APJ/UCVM/Coupons/Register/AU…
Thanks this worked. Used my work email.
I used my student email and it worked lol. Thanks
but then no cashback, right?
I just used EPP for a 27" G2722HD 1080P monitor for $230…I'm using it for a gaming PC (racing cabinet) and 1080P will suit me fine.

nice, i have a 3080ti and am used to 4k on a tv.. i might hold out for a 4k deal
Got one of these from the last deal which was still $450. I am happy with it.
I got two and am very happy with them both
Grabbed one, thanks! Used govvy work email to get it down to $303.85.
Already have a 32” 1440p AOC monitor but it has terrible ghosting for games (but wife doesn’t notice it for work), so she can have that one and I get this!
Used govvy work email to get it down to $303.85
How does this work? I have gov email and am thinking of getting this
It’ll ask you for a corporate email, I plugged it in and it immediate popped up with a notification box with a discount code attached and received an email with the same. You don’t need to sign up or use work email for checkout purposes luckily - I actually checked out as a guest. Easy!
Can also try using a student email if you have one. Worked for me lol
Couldn't figure it out, will hand in my ozbargain license as I'll just pay 310 😂
@sourdawg: Just need to follow the link that ozzbargainer posted up above if you can't find it on the site.
So you don’t actually need a corporate email? I could just plug in some random email with a corporate tag and get the code from the pop up?
This one is fantastic no ghosting anymore
Would this be good for a ps5?
apparently not. can't remember why exactly but I do remember reading some gripes about it
ok thanks, I'll take that as no good for ps5 :)
It may be ok. As the other poster said, the PS5 didn’t use to support 1440p previously so it would t have run at native output. That’s since changed.
You’ll need speakers but.
PS5 used to not support 1440p.
Get yourself a 4k screen and call it a day IMO
Shhh cant say that. There are 4k-deniers out there LOL.
any recommendations?
https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/791364
I own this and have used it for PS5 before, works well, no real latency issues, but only 60hz and 27". Depends what size you're after as well. (27 vs 32 vs TV etc) and if the monitor is going to be used for anything else
Can apply 7% coupon if you have edu email to make it $303.85:

Dang, just purchased an MSI quantum dot IPS for 599. Similar spec, should have gone for this. Great deal Op.
Have been using 1080 @ 32" for work for years (limited by dock) and it is fine, this would be even better.
32" @ 1440p isn't great imo for work purposes; at least for me - can't really use two windows side by side without the apps having a compact view.
If I were to go a single monitor at 1440p, probably needs to be 36-38 as a bare minimum.
Yep fair enough. My work setup is: 32" 1080p for technical drawings, 24" 1200p vertical for documents. This is the max my Dell work dock can handle (I tried some higher res monitors from home but no joy).
Good enough display for a docked Steam Deck?
Grabbed one of these recently for ~$330 and really happy with it. 4K and more than 15W PD would be nice but then it'd be much more expensive.
Such good price. Any good deal for 4K?

A rando used my code. If you're a member on OZB, at least say thank you.
Used shopback and got $7.77 cashback. Paid $303.85 with my work email, used one of the links posted in the chat above.
Shopback only gives 1.5% cashback for monitor…
It says 'Up to 12.00% Cashback' now.
Rough math says it's about 2.5% cashback now.
Clearly that 1.5% you quoted is not true then. $7.77 was the amount confirmed by shopback.
Damn I've got an LG atm, will it trigger my OCD if I have two difference branded screens?
Not if you cover the brand stickers..
New to sim racing and thinking of triple monitors. This seems to tick the boxes for minimum requirements?? Don’t want to spend more than $1k after all the money spent on rig and peripherals so 3 of these match budget. Toyed with idea of ultra wide to save space but for drifting, seems triples would be better. Not interested in VR (got too queasy on my oculus). Have a 3070ti. Would you guys recommend this monitor for that purpose??? Thanks for your advice
I just bought three for this exact reason. A mate bought three during the last sale. Perfect if you have the real estate!
I really wish this has integrated speakers!
+1, can use this monitor to play switch. LOL
Dell does soundbar speakers
https://www.mwave.com.au/product/dell-ac511m-stereo-soundbar…
Yeah I’m using this one with my current LG monitor, fixed with double sided tape.
If you’re not using the original stand then you’ll have to use tapes.
Certain Dell monitors allows you to slide in and attach the speaker bar to the monitor.
Please PM if any spare discount code to share.
Thanks in advance.
PM'ed.
Thank you very much!
If anyone has a spare 10% code so I can get it under 300 for tax I would greatly appreciate. PM me if you can.
I don't think it's possible to get it under $300, sorry
Ah damn, I thought with a 10% code at the price of $327.80 would bring it down below 300
It would, but there are no 10% off codes that I'm aware of. Only the 7% student/EPP one
7% discount Plus Dell $5-10 voucher when purchase over $100 something like that may work.
Where are these mystical $5-10 vouchers you speak of?!
@CyberHippy: Dell used call that Dell Advantage coupon.
usually sent to you one month after you make the purchase
not sure they still send this or not.
Wonder any one can share me this Dell Advantage Coupon. thanks
I have two of these monitors.. love them both :)
Worth upgrading from Dell 27 4K monitor - S2721QS?
YES
Having this size of screen, I bet most of us need a pair of 👓
Seems it doesn't have a speaker embedded?
Dammit, wish i didnt buy the gigabye m27f just recently. This is much, much better value
Anyone else getting a payment issue?
Actually after trying a few times with GooglePay and CC - it finally worked (using CC)
What if it's both?
