Given some of the issues the 5000 series cards are having, I don't think it's a bad thing that they're taking their time with testing the…

I'm not sure that's the point they're making, if an EV battery goes bang it's a much more significant fire than an ICE catching fire. The…

Clueless people seem to love brigading against mobs like Bec Hardy, even though how they advertise is well within the OzBargain rules, and…

I've tried a couple of different Pinots from them and they were both great, I can't see this one being any different.

jv must have run out of **windows** to lick, and I've got nfi what that other muppet is rambling about.

To be fair, 8-9 years support for a smart watch is pretty reasonable

Decent little chargers, I've got one here at work at the moment, no coil whine on mine. I'm almost tempted to get another.

Yep probably a couple of hours after it appeared here

Latitude 7440 and 7410, Surface Laptop 6, pretty sure I've tried it with higher end laptops with GPUs as well as Surface Pro 7+'s and it's…

I bought a couple of the Ironbark Whiskies as gifts but never got any feedback from them. I'm kind of tempted to grab one of these to try,…

I'm running a 4k and 1440p monitor off one now with no issues, pretty sure they do at least 2x 4K fine

Yeah DCS is dual USB-C ports for 210W+ power requirements (or whatever the spec is), you'd need to have a fairly beefy device to need one.
12/02/2025 - 12:51
Actually they're the same, the dock is modular and the TB/DCS/etc ends are swappable.

We had about 150 in our old office, and a lot of them came across during our move, 40% failure rate would be blowing it out of proportion.

They have a common fault that causes the fan to ramp up constantly, I'm not 100% sure firmware fixes it, It's been a while since I dealt…

Well my 5080 arrived and it hasn't caught fire yet, so that's a good start
11/02/2025 - 17:04
Jesus, I mean I felt kind of bad asking for a quick update on the GPUs on day 5 since it was advertised as a 2-5 day turnaround, they went…

Yeah wasn't sure, but it's good they're giving people an update. Good timing for me too since I'm home tomorrow EDIT: Just got the…

Just got an email, not sure if it's related to the query I sent last week "We would like to confirm that all individual graphics cards…

They seem to be Adelaide based, it's 4:30pm here so if it hasn't shipped by now it probably won't today.
07/02/2025 - 17:01
I paid for express too (still marked as "Picked") but can't see much shipping out this afternoon anyway. At least it'll let me spend the…

Yeah mine just changed too, guess we'll see if it actually means something shortly or if it's some automated stuff like everyones weekly…

I guess the frustration for me (and others) is that we just ordered the bare GPU, and a rep was in here saying "any line with 'ON HAND'…
07/02/2025 - 01:19
Nope, pretty sure it said an estimated 2-5 days to send it, so bug them Monday if you don't hear anything. Given they're still selling…
06/02/2025 - 18:51
Nope, still showing "Order placed" even though stock was allegedly "on hand"
06/02/2025 - 11:35
The Gamerock ones are huge, the Gaming Pro ones are more normal. Fortunately some of us don't care about the size and looks because we…

I've got a couple of the X ones, still trying to get them to not make the water taste like crap.
05/02/2025 - 15:19
I ordered a 5080 so should be a lot safer, the 5090s definitely got slammed
04/02/2025 - 13:04
Yeah the status is still "order placed" for me, I'll chase it if it doesn't change in a few days
