I don't think that many orders are on backorder TBH, it's awfully quiet in here regarding status, I would imagine us OZBners picking up more stink than this if there were hundreds of orders backordered than just the handful of us still messaging here…hence my asking.

Can someone please share the tips to maximize the battery life on Pixel 7. My phone's battery drains out very quickly and doesn't even last a day.
Well, I'd start by looking at battery in settings and checking if any particular apps are causing the drain.
Turn off a few settings. Ie. The one where it's always listening for music, the one where it's listening for Google assistant, turn off always on display, turn off 5G.

Spoke to Telstra chat last night, they said might take 3-6 weeks to restock. But just got a text message saying the telstra order has been despatched 🤔I ordered Snow White on the 4th but have still got nothing. :(

I don't think so. I talked to Jim. He basically was like if you don't like it you can cancel your order.

@Ronnnie: Possibly. I think they are just using the Telstra membership as an excuse to make their phones not look too cheap. I thought they were just clearing for the release of the 8 in Oct. Or maybe Telstra may have to have met a quota? It's really an incredible deal for this phone either way. Waiting is ok, but if they start to cancel orders it won't be pretty lol

Still can't figure out how people who ordered after me got theirs before us.
It seems they are randomnly receiving stock and fulfilling orders not following any queue! One would have thought that having x number of devices on back order would make it clearer and easier for them to source from their supplier. Unless there is a shortage of these devices which I doubt!
And lying about it too: We don't have estimated date of arrival but rest assured that our warehouse will deliver your order according to the dates of order and availability of the device with no special treatment as we proceed with first come first serve.

Did anyone who redeemed the points and paid partly by card managed to get a Tax Invoice? I didn't get anything with the phone nor in the email and Telstra support haven't been able to provide it either
I paid by card but all I got was a text telling me the invoice was available through my Telstra online account, have you logged in and checked?
I bought 2 phones, one paid fully by credit card and I can access the invoice via Telstra account. I also got a delivery docket with the phone which had the IMEI number as well.
The other one was was partly paid by points and credit card. Didn't receive the delivery docket along with the phone nor is the invoice showing in the Telstra account. Their support is hopeless directing me from one department to another and no one is able to help.
Hmmmm.. update : i just got the 2nd "understanding" message from Telstra today .. and frustratingly my unrelated order from aliexpress on 10/8 arrived faster in WA than telstra order on 5/8.
