How do you access the two pack? Great price OP

    • I just selected the 2-pack options on the page OP provided.
      But definitely great price!

      • Out of stock by the time I figured it out! Thanks.

    • Click through the link, the option for the 2 pack is just under the main price in the center of the screen

    • Tap "Two Sensor Size" on the listing. This will then give an option for "2 Pack".

    • Below the price there is two buttons/options: RLC-520A or RLC-520A(2 pack)

This product can’t be shipped to the sledged region :/

  • Amazing price, wish i needed more

    • We should all get one to make the world a safer place 😀. We just need some deals on Poe switches/injectors to compliment the Reolink cameras.

  • OoS

And they jacked the price via shipping :(

      • There's no price jacking here. The 30pcs of AU stock sold out, so now it has switched to CN stock.

    • I think it supports QoS

  • I'm getting AU$49.68. No option to ship from Aus, only China

Don’t worry too much. These things are AVERAGE at best.

just replaced my door camera with a tplink vigi, and while its great for the $80 I paid, I made the mistake of getting the 4mm one, not 2.8 so my fov isn't great :/

      • +1

I got quite a few o those (well the olde model, without "A") and I am very happy with them. Does the job, resolution is pretty good. Had and seen much worse.

      • +3

These things are definitely above average. I use these and they’re great!

    Thanks for the heads up

Really good deal! My browser it's playing up, it opens link via app and I get different price. For others that might get the same issue. Open with a different browser or on P.C.

  • Looks like the AU stock has sold out. There were 15pcs available of each at time of posting.

CN Stock still available for ~US$33.05 (~A$49.24) for one camera.

    • completely out now

  • If you don't have a PoE switch/injector it uses a power adapter…

I believe the power adapter is sold separately. You will have to work out the right power adapter to buy.

    • Seems like it. Your standard 12V/1A DC barrel charger by the looks.

before u get these or any Reolink have a look at this
    https://ipcamtalk.com/threads/i-made-the-reolink-mistake.561…

be sure you know the underlying specifications and what your NVR setup needs.

    It's not just about Megapixels

Main point seems to be that Reolink is not compatible with Blue Iris software…

      • +1

I'm using some reolinks with blue iris. Might be less than ideal config or model specific, but I don't recall having much issues getting them working for basic blue iris setup

    • +1

I have a 2 x Reolink setups and Blue iris setup (hikvision). Reolink is fine if youre not using it with Blue Iris. For plug and play Reolink is the way to go

      • Sorry, whats the go with blue iris? I have a hikvision setup and it's trash for alerts or as a home security camera setup. Trying to figure out how I can salvage it and I keep hearing of blue iris, but it looks like a basic nvr system right?

        • look into the CodeProject AI integration for object detection, you can do alerts wherever you want, BI app, Telegram etc..

Look at TheHookup on youtube, he has some really good videos for BI setups

          • @LolComputers: Thanks, will have a look. Otherwise I'm looking at Unifi ecosystem hey

    • +4

I'm running 6x reolink of various types (doorbell, 8mp, 5mp) plus some annke cams, all via blue iris and they haven't missed a beat. Reolink has really seemed to focus in on any reported blue iris compatibility issues with their firmware over the last year. So I think the anti-reolink bashing by purists on the forums is a bit undeserved. At least I'm glad I didn't listen to them.

      • the point of the post was not to bash but to highlight the need to review not just the camera but also the NVR setup you intend to use with and ensure the are compatible. I am considering Reolink myself but dont want to be tied to one specific nvr system and want to get cameras with broad support. and detailed specs. I only have a few tapo indoor cameras at the moment and use tapo plus also agentdvr am looking at a outdoor setup. The post gave me pause to dig a bit more into specs as i am.considering Blue Iris and Frigate.

      • I had to use RTMP instead of RTSP for my reolink doorbell, kept losing connection on RTSP for some reason.. apart from that it's been fine so far

    • Your comment seems like you're trying to be helpful but its more of an introduction to a rabbit hole of information on a forum.

I didn't get far enough into the discussion to see if the OP found a solution.

      • +1

The OP in that thread did make some progress on it but in the end was looking to replace them. I think Reolink advised him that firmware could only fix so much and rest was hardware limitation on framrate availability and settings. Though much may have changed since then to present. I think reolink now has newer models that may have better BI and non native NVR compatibility. YMMV.

    • +4

Appears to be outdated information relating to old firmware. All of the current models support the common protocols and work fine with Blue Iris.

    • +1

LOL Some guy brought cameras without checking if they work with the setup they wanted to use.

That thread was also a few years, have things changed since then?

      • +1

Yes. Reolink have fixed a lot of Blue Iris compatibility issues in firmware updates.

    Ali Express don’t honor refunds.

    • +1

      Never had an issue myself.

    • +2

Contacted support, met their requests (photos) and received a refund. Returning the products was not a request but the refund took about 2 weeks

      • +2

Same, i got a refund quickly after submitting request and photos

  • I purchased a Samsung battery from them but it wasn’t charging fully and when I try to return they said it’s not their fault but I need to contact Samsung.

    • Did you raise a dispute or message the store?

  • OOS cant ship to AUS

    • It's been listed as OOS since just after 9pm yesterday ;)

    • keep seeing "can't be shipped to this location" - following your link :( am logged in, not sure what else to try.

edit - now it allows NSW shipping, but price is up ~$130. Must have missed it.

      • Yeah it's gone again. It returns in tiny batches of 5-10pcs.

        • no worries - i will keep hammering 'refresh' and hope for the best 👍
