Fujifilm X-S20 with XC 15-45mm Lens for $1,910.04 - 7 pieces left so can't make a new post.

    • Wow not bad

    • +9

      Thanks bought 7

    • Awesome price for the XS20, tempted to buy.

    • I don't understand the X-S20 pricing, does this represent objectively good value?

Even if you're only starting out, the pricing approaches X-T5 territory, and that lens is not the best…

      • +1

I agree. X-S20 is overpriced for what it is. no weather sealing, simplified controls. X-S10 is a much better value proposition, and X-T5 is not far away. hell, for $2879 you can get x-H2 from the same crowd, that's the 16-80/4 kit https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/175802177595

that's so much better than paying $2k for watered down X-S20 with a throwaway lens

        • +1

          Open gate recording.

          • @snvl: no weather sealing.

            • @shabaka: You already mentioned that. Neither xt5 not xh2 have it. Just different cameras

              • @snvl: x-t5 and x-h2 are weather sealed like tanks. I shot with x-t3 in pouring rain and no problems

                • @shabaka: I meant neither xt5 not xh2 has open gate feature and few others that the xs20 has.

                  • @snvl: I guess the times when cameras were used for taking pictures are long gone

    • Thanks for sharing. Finally committed to buying it after shopping around for a while.

    • Out of stock, just grabbed the last one.

    Sony a7r v $4299….

  • +1

If you buy digidirect on ebay, is it included in canon's cashback?

    • +2

Should be able to. As they issue a standard company tax invoice. 'Been able to claim in the past.

      • Cheers.. thanks.. sold..

    • I don't know about Canon but yes for Sony.

  • +4

Ricoh griiix, $1279 not bad I guess

  • any recommendation for a reasonable priced mic for podcast? thanks

    • What’s your budget

Is it just you or you and guests?

    • +1

Behringer XM8500 for $45 - at the price, nothing else comes close

Get an XLR interface, mic stand(s) and cable(s) and dial those in for your specific environment before even considering more expensive mics

    • Side note, if looking for a Blue Yeti, they're super cheap on Marketplace nowadays. Saw one pop up a few days ago locally for $20..

Disappointing when I spent $200 for a Yeticaster at the start of the pandemic.

      • 200 seems cheap if it was brand new?

        • +1

Yeah, EB I think it was. I think MAYBE one of my very first OzB purchases (another account) if not around that time anyway. Was half price at the advertised $400 RRP I think it was at the time?

Thought I snapped up a MEAN bargain. 3 years later I only buy things that are roughly 50% off or more.. 🤣

          • +1

@WasBargain: someone on ebay has a 2nd hand one listed for 200..if you can successfully sell it for 200 i reckon you're laughin all the way to the bank

            • +1

              @Jimothy Wongingtons: Hahaha, definitely!

I think BlueYeti's go for like $40 - $60 roughly from what I've seen pop up randomly. The arm for me worked out jankily, wouldn't buy again (think RRP was $150 by itself?).

I'd be lucky to sell the lot for $100, second hand I reckon..

  • +1

Max discount should be the norm for all the other sales on eBay and not $300.

    • Used to be. They were good times.

  • Is there any decent lens for MFT camera, Olympus

    • +2

Many. Several with cash back from OM

      12-45 F4 $775 and cash back

      • +1

Ended up buying from Amazon, close to $710 and Cashback claimed on top.

        • +1

you could same one from Amazon Japan (so Amazon Au warranty) for $647…

          • @Ntsh: Don't think buying from Amazon JP or US offers same warranty as AU. I could be wrong.
            But thanks for the tip.

            • @Seven8Nine: yeah coz it is sold thru AU (despite it coming from Amazon JP) they have to fulfill warranty obligations

  • Nice, I was just looking at getting the Tamron 28-75 G2, brings it down a little more than digiDirect store.

  • +1

Thanks, bought an ZV-E1, with TRS refund, looking good around ~$2400

  • How reliable is the digidirect stock count? If it says "one left" how likely are they to keep finding one more each time the "last one" gets sold?

    • +1

Some received cancel emails in the past. So it isn’t 100% reliable

      • They just cancelled my order because I didn't put a name on the parcel locker address.
First time thats happened, and it caused the item to go out of stock so couldn't rebuy.
So I bought it from another seller, which was a few dollars cheaper lol their loss

    • 50% likely

    • Never had an issue through their eBay store.

  • Any recommendations for lens filters? Too many options. Thanks!

    • Filter to achieve what outcome?

  • Nikon DX 12-28 PZ is $479

    tempting

  • Anyone know when will this deal ended ? Thanks

    • Expire date shown below description, in the usual place ^^^.
