Kicking off from 7pm AEDT on March 1st is the AliExpress Choice "Blooming Sale" with these codes that'll apply on Choice banner products and hopefully everything else.

Each coupon is 1 per account and they won't stack with the new user "Welcome Offer". Due to the 3G shutdown in Australia and phones being wrongfully blocked you may not be able to apply the coupon codes when attempting to purchase a phone on AliExpress.

The minimum spend excludes GST and shipping.

For those paying in USD this is how you get the correct exchange rate in PayPal:

Setting overseas websites to AUD or letting PayPal do the currency conversion results in an inflated rate. To get the correct rate you need a card without international fees and do the following:

  • Set the website currency to USD
  • Checkout with PayPal
  • Select your card with no international fees
  • Click "See currency options"
  • Select USD to bill the card in USD instead of AUD
  • Proceed with checkout

Now you'll get the correct MasterCard or VISA exchange rate depending on the card.

That is the pyramid scheme we call life…

Do feel for the Gen x/ y's

…When all the Baby Boomers pass on their inheritance, they will be leap frogged.

Pyramid scheme with snakes and ladders…

    • What did you buy?

      • Yeh like I don't even know lol random stuff

Big ones are like a tablet, mini PC, some 4tb SSD to upgrade my rog ally. Some cpus. Some retro handhelds lol

  • What I feel like genx/y had the best period in terms of housing.

    I am gen y

  • Interesting there is no coupon for $150 spend like last time which saved $20.

There is a big jump from $129 spend to $239 spend

  • Hmmm wait for this or buy now with the cashrewards 14% cashback?

  • Any decent tablet deals to go with these coupons?

    • If it covers Big Save we should have some.

  • Any recommendation for mini pc for working from home?

    • Ive taken a punt on one of these.

      https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005008525779544.html

Main reason for this was if you select the 5800h variant the pricing doesnt seem to change if you go feom no ram & ssd to other option's. So for about $140 i apparently have a 1tb ssd and 32gb of ram model on the way. If those two things arrive ill swap them in to my laptop and find another use for this.

Cancel your order as you've ordered from one of the more notorious fake stores that have popped up very recently.

        Celis Overseas Trade Store
        88.9% Positive Feedback

88.9% feedback is extremely low for an AliExpress store. The other red flag in the product title:

        To AMD R7 5800H

Putting "To" and "Top" before the brand is a tactic used by some dodgy sellers to avoid the automatic flagging of potentially suspicious listings.

A 3rd red flag is the price. US$85 for every single variant? Especially the 32GB RAM + 1TB SSD? Yeah there's no way that's real.

        • Damnit usually so careful of this, the otjers werent loke kt sl thiugjt kt was a pricing error on their part as the rest are normal price. Annoyingly it just shipped so will be refusing delivery. The dimensions listed on fed ex are clearly not whats been ordered so think ill have to try my luck with aliexpresses refund policy.

Now you've said it I've found the stores review buried 4 screens deep, they arent easy to locate to see the reviews. Why the hell do people rate them 5 stars with comments saying they are bad.

          • +1

@Everettpsycho: You'll receive something completely different. Normally a dummy security camera or other junk. Film the opening of the package, or take photos of the package, the label and the partially open package showing the contents. I've reported the store directly to AliExpress and you'll find they'll refund you pretty quickly after a dispute.

5 stars for bad reviews is a really common issue. Dunno why they do it.

            • @Clear: Youd think they'd send something smaller than 77x54x30 cms and fed ex has it down as 29kg. Must cost them a fortune in shipping if thats true, handy that fed ex tells you the detail though.

            • @Clear: Well it was dodgy, the tracking number was delivered but fedex said it was a sink that was delivered 1000km away. Ali express have refunded due to the seller supplying the wrong tracking number. The listing and seller have also now been delistef.

              • +1

@Everettpsycho: Imagine getting a knock on your door and a delivery guy has just dropped off a random sink on your porch and left…
You'd probably need a minute to let that sink in…
                😏

  • Current Cashrewards 25% cashback ends 7pm 1 march 2025. Unfortunately, no cashback if you use these codes on 1 March.

    • +2

Codes always work with cashback if the item is affiliated. Coupons not listed is a generic disclaimer. AliExpress are giving these upsized affiliate rates to cashback companies alongside coupon sales for a reason.

  • Pls enlighten me what to buy

      Stuff.
Stuff you probably don't need but stuff you just have to have. :)

  • Was looking at the Moondrop Discdream 2 CD player on the official store, but they just bumped up the price $20 to make the upcoming discount a total wash.
Wonder how many stores will pull this trick

  • Why no mobile phone deals? Haven't the telcos sorted out the crap with the 3G shutdown and phones from China working ok with suitable 4G and 5G bands.?

  • Thanks!

I know some of these words

  • I had 260 AUD in cart but somehow couldn't use the 30 code, it says I didn't order enough to use the code. So I took out an item and went one level lower and it worked. Not sure what the threshold is supposed to be.

The AUD spends fluctuate a bit unfortunately. The best way is to check the US price.

  • Looking for a small form factor GAN charger which supports 65w PD off a single USB C port for my laptop, plus also with AU plug.

Spent 10 mins on Aliexpress and doesn't seem to be anything other than US and EU plugs. Any suggestions?

    • Your best bet is finding a multiport charger with a figure 8 cable - some will include an AU option.

If you want something smaller I've been eyeing off this Wekome GaN charger. The red variant selectable under plug type comes with either an EU or US figure 8 cable that you can swap for your own. Full specs via Wekome reveals that a single USB-C port will deliver 65W (20V/3.25A) which will drop to 45W+20W if both USB-C ports are used.

      • thanks for your reply, but really want to avoid multiple cables.

Need something like this: https://vi.aliexpress.com/item/1005006994778584.html but with an AU plug.

You would think that they would definitely have something with CN plugs (which are inverted AU plugs), considering they make it there, but haven't been able to find one

        • That's going to be a challenge. You'll find that in China they use their version of the US style plug for phone chargers.

@Clear I'm after a PCIe to SATA card for Optiplex 7060 micro, searching on AliExpress is a bit overwhelming and would you have something in mind for me to avail this offer with?

  • Getting the following response, when trying to apply as part of this deal: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/895732

"For security reasons your request can't currently be processed"

    • New account.

      • If it can't be a new account, my regular is at least 3 years old.

If it's for new accounts only- Made a fresh one, which still didn't work.

        (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻

        • Can't be a new account. The only time I've seen the error is when it's a new account or hasn't had an order in so long it's deemed to be a new account again.

          • @Clear: My last order was back in November- Only other thing I've found regarding, is that it Ali can manually enable it periodically if too many buyers are using the same coupon at once.

  • Cheers OP! 🍺
