    Good quality parts!

    • +1

Thanks! we tried our best on this one :)

  • Does anyone have recommendations of what to upgrade from the part list?

    • We would recommend a CPU cooler upgrade.

If you have budget left to spare, you can get any of these dependent on what your use case would be:

      • Upgrade SSD to 1TB
      • Upgrade to 750W PSU
      • Get a CPU upgrade if you have budget left but this is also dependent on your use case
      • I totally agree with the CPU cooler upgrade. The stock AMD stealth cooler wasn’t enough to avoid thermal throttling at 100% CPU load.

      • I saw a bunch about pcie5. 0. Would the CPU upgrade be applicable for this? If so, which CPU would you recommend. Thanks!

        • This motherboard has PCIE 5.0 (backwards compatible with PCIE 4.0)

All of the CPU options (including the base option) support PCIE 5.0 and are backwards compatible with PCIE 4.0 and older standards

A CPU upgrade is only worth it if you need more more processing power for specific tasks or if you are upgrading your GPU and want to reduce any bottlenecks

I have the 1 click OC model of the 3060TI like this PC inlcudes.
It is a pretty poor model that will fairly easily hit temp limit if you don't undervolt and play with the fan curve, even in a well ventilated case.
After all it is fairly lightweight and two slot.
    Just bear this in mind.

    • Appreciate the feedback!

We have done testing on this card in this exact configuration and did not see any thermal throttling, so you won't lose any performance in this configuration. But the card does not run as cool as some of our available upgrade options, so if you are after a cool running card we recommend looking at some of our upgrade options (The ASUS Dual runs great temperature wise!)

@ChineseElectronics: may be provide proof of your comments with support: more details is better so that gamers can assess & give weight to your comments, thanks.

      • -1

Without their comment, people would be unaware of any possible risks of purchase.

They have contributed a net positive to the conversation.

Then people like you, who cry about sources or proof, detracting from the flow of information.

Do your own research, then add to the conversation.

Gamers nexus, hardware unboxed are two reliable sources.

        • Lmao WTF, How dare someone ask for some simple proof then you go & project your own insecurities onto someone, the only one crying here is you, pathetic npc

    • @ChineseElectronics: I am sure he writes with good intention & credit should be given.
It seems like he got into trouble pushing his GPU to the limit via OverClocking it, say gaming @1440P Ultra on a high graphic-demanding game with high FPS?
May be the lesson here is to appropriately spec. your parts with enough grunt ?

If it's a struggle to reach $1K of savings & you need a system now, may be AM5 is a wrong path ?

  • Any way to upgrade to a 4070 Ti on this? Looking for a 7600, 4070 Ti, DDR5 build…

    • Added upgrade option!

  • Also interested on a 4070 upgrade

    • +1

      Upgrade option added!

      • +1

4070 upgrade option is so high :(
Better to get the 3060 ti to sell and buy 4070 separately.

  • -4

3060 Ti rig for how much? makes sense that neither keyboard nor mouse are included

because both hands will be busy wiping tears away

  • +1

I see the above comment saying 4070 and 4070 Ti options have been added, but it doesn't appear to be live on site or it's not visible for some reason. Could just be me though. I have tried 2 different browsers and phone browser.

    • +1

Just updated some backend settings, give it another go, should be there now!

      • Hey rep, wondering if you can do deals on bulk parts. Thanks

        • Get in contact with us via live chat and we will see if we can assist

  • Hi rep can you do any deals on ryzen cpu part?

    • Unfortunately we do not sell individual components, only Full PCs

  • +1

    Tax… BACK? :(

  • Can you get it without the GPU ?

    • Unfortunately we do not sell systems with components removed

      • +1

Anyone know where I can get this system like this with out needing to buy another GPU (I have a 3070 - but it's in a 6 year old computer)

  • +1

Cant wait to play COD at 10fps

    • +1

Our bad, we pulled the COD FPS numbers from the wrong build! They have been updated and other FPS have been double checked too :)

      • Cant wait to play COD at 80fps

        • COD is only playable at 100fps

  • +3

CPU is overkill for a 3060ti while upgrading to a 4070 kills any value for the build.

This deal from 2 weeks ago would've been a better mix of specs+price.

    • We would have to respectfully disagree with you.

This CPU is a great pairing with the 3060Ti.

It allows minimal CPU bottlenecking and gets you into the AM5 platform. This allows you to upgrade your CPU to future ryzen releases if you need more power. In 5 or 6 years time you will probably be able to pickup a great second hand CPU (like the 7800X3D and future equivalents) and extend your PCs lifetime even further.

It also means in future you have headroom to upgrade your GPU when new GPUs come out or when current 40 series prices drop.

      • +2

I'm gpu bottlenecked in most games with a 6800xt even at 1080p using a 5700x (~15% slower than a 7600x). Even the valorant example you've used shows you're heavily gpu bottlenecked because turning graphical settings down to low (and therefore becoming less gpu bottlenecked) nets you 800+ fps at 1080p with the same 7600x.

It's quite baffling seeing an experienced SI talking about future proofing, one of the worst newbie traps in the pc industry. In the future someone can buy into the am5 platform at half the cost. Hell just 9 months ago when the am5 platform launched it cost 2x what it costed now in terms of mobo+ram.

        • +1

Not everyone is looking to buy a CPU that is just good enough for their usage today.

We agree, prices will come down as a platform ages, that's how it works. But there are consumers looking for a PC now, not in 6 months and the AM5 platform is significantly more future proof than buying an AM4 platform right now.

The Fact is AM5 is a platform that will see support and new CPUs released for it in the coming years and if you want to get into the AMD Eco system with options to upgrade to future generation CPUs, it's the only option.

If you are looking for a cheaper deal and you don't care about getting new CPU options for future or you don't care for extra CPU headroom, then yes AM4 is a great choice and we have some great deals on the AM4 platform, like this one: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/786303

Not everyone is looking for the same build and we understand if this build is not for you and that's okay, but there are people who buy AM5 but don't have the budget to stretch to a 4070 but don't want a 4060 or a 4060Ti. That's who this deal is for.

          • @enigmapc: You're just further proving my point, someone can just buy the 450 dollar cheaper setup now that'll get the same framerate and use that 450 bucks for an even faster cpu upgrade than the 7600x later down the line when the 3600 'isn't good enough'. This is why future proofing will always be a meme in the pc industry.

This build makes 0 sense, what next a 12900k paired with a 3060ti?

People who buy am5 without the budget for a 4070 tier card are just uninformed buyers shooting themselves in the foot. This deal is just preying on those people. The reverse would also be true if someone paired a 4090 with a sub 200 dollar cpu.

            • @JerraJones: You will not get the same frame rate on our 3600 deal, you will get better frames on certain games on this deal. It does not mean either one is a bad deal, they are different products for different people with different uses and different budgets.

You don't have to get a 4070 and up to justify a newer generation CPU.

We understand you may not see the value in AM5 as it does not serve your purposes and we appreciate your feedback, but we have many customers who do see the value and have use cases for this PC :)

              • @enigmapc:

you will get better frames on certain games on this deal.

                Yeah, on extreme outliers.

but we have many customers who do see the value and have use cases for this PC :)

Lmao we both know deep down that people buying prebuilts aren't exactly the most informed around. Ignorance is bliss after all, a fool and his money are easily departed :)

Anytime I see a build by you guys I know it's going to be a joke compared to the other SIs in here. I will keep linking this amazingly out of touch deal of yours from 6 months ago.

        • +1

@JerraJones: pls provide a link to the review where you got this image-> https://imgur.com/vlR7Tu0
I would like to research this, thanks

    • +1

I think it's overkill in the sense that the budget allocation seems all off. Regardless of bottlenecks, for most cases in gaming you'd be better off spending more on the video card and getting a cheap AM4 combo. Seems kinda wacky to me to be like "welp I'm gonna spend a few hundred more on a 7600 system and in a few years maybe GPU prices will suck less" when you could just flip that and get a higher end card now and enjoy better performance until you feel like you need to upgrade the CPU.
Obviously it's a different thing if you do tasks that leverage the CPU more but I think for the average person this is an odd build.

  • +2

I'm not a pc build expert at all but in my experience, this isn't too much of a killer deal at all. I managed to get a better PC than the one listed above for only $1350ish (higher W power supply, higher end 3060ti, full case etc)

    • +1

With all due respect, we find it highly unlikely that you are able to build an equivalent or better build cheaper than this price. You will either need to spend more money or sacrifice on quality components/functionality.

We could obviously reduce the price further if we cheaped out on components but if all you are looking for is the cheapest possible PC with maximum FPS, then we encourage you to shop elsewhere :)

We provide quality builds with quality components.

      • -3

That's definitely true! This is probably one of the best prices you can get for this kind of build in Australia. However, if you're planning to go cheaper and don't want to sacrifice on components/functionality, buying overseas is a very viable option where the AUD has much buying power (from reputable, verified overseas retailers of course). I managed to get a deadstock 3060ti + i512400f for only $640 AUD in Vietnam, to which that 3060ti alone would have been in the 750-850 range here in Australia.

        • +1

Or buy used, you're always going to end up with a cheaper system.

        • Intel builds are obviously going to be cheaper than AMD AM5

        • +5

We don't compete with grey imports, we use reputable brands with australian consumer protection.

    • I managed to get a better PC than the one listed above for only $1350ish

      Where from?

  • -4

Weird choice of power supply, seems like you've cheaped out there. I can't remember the last time I heard anything good about lower end Gigabyte PSUs.

    • +2

We don't cheap out on power supplies. If the power supply fails it can take the entire system down.

The gigabyte power supply we have here is a solid workhorse and is 80+ bronze rated. We have shipped over a thousand systems with this model. We have yet to have a single one of these power supplies fail.

There were limited models from gigabyte that had issues a few years ago, those issues have since been resolved. This unit was also not one of the affected models.

  • Thanks! Just ordered one. Would have preferred RTX 4000 series GPU but the upgrade prices were too much.

  • +3

after upgrading to similar specs and compare it to the recent Nebula deal, this deal is actually at least 200 dollar more expensive.. i would say wait

    • +1

I came to the same conclusion. If you need the same GPU as Nebula deal, don't use this deal. This price is only good for AM5 + 3060ti

  • Does this come with Windows 11/Microsoft applications installed?

    • If you would like for us to install windows you will need to purchase a windows license. We are unable to ship a PC with windows unactivated

  • Compared to lots of other retailers (been looking at r5/3060ti builds) this does seem good value, esp for a new series 7000/ddr5 etc build? Or am i missing something?
By the time you upgrade other deals MB/cpu/ram, theyre almost the same as this from what ive seen? 🤔
