  • Great build, comes about a month and half too late, otherwise I would have jumped on this.

Edit: RE: Nebulas website. I was under the impression that both businesses use a generic template and then modify it their needs. If you guys actually coded the UI and part selector etc. and they ripped the code, that is not very "businessship" like.
Hope both side can come to a conclusion.

      • +3

We use shopify as a backend, but we spent a significant investment and time customizing our front end. Especially our custom builder. It's completely custom and the code was stolen.

      • Looks like they both use the same company to build the custom product builder page? I'm probably missing something but I can't see how that means "the code was stolen"?

        https://www.thecustomproductbuilder.com/

        • +3

We do use an app to run the backend of the custom builder, but we added further functionality and we designed/created the look of the custom builder.

The custom CSS (styling code) and JavaScript is not available on the app. This was ripped off our website.

          • +2

@enigmapc: Not a lawyer, but it sounds like legal action territory? Does one need to register their coding as their property before putting it out there? I don't have the legal knowledge but it sounds interesting.
            Please keep us updated.

  • I hope this is available on 14th of July to purchase. That's when I'll be buying my next dream setup!

Currently deciding between PC Case Gear / Concord Computers and this one I've just seen above..

  • +1

the difference from the saturday one is that the money is now paid to MB and CPU instead of GPU XD

  • +3

Just to let you guys know you can get a RTX 4070 build with extra $239 from Techfast:

Literally quarter of the PC is not "almost same amount" 🤨

          • -1

@ocdguy: Still not 'almost the same amount of money'

          • @ocdguy: Inc. Del. And not couting the dogshit ewaste h610…. yea bud, its ~$1500 vs ~$1200 give or take few bucks.

              • @ocdguy: Again, including comparable mobo it is ~$1500.
After having a quick look 4070 seems to be around 30-35% faster bar literally a handful of games where it performs 50%+, and thats at 1080p, its drops to 10-20% at 2k.

I understand you are happy with your purchase and thats great, you wanna tell the world about it! but doing so in this post with little knowledge of performance to cost/what nebula offers over techfast is just….. wrong way to go about.

in simples, for the shot term future the price gap between budget 4070/3060ti builds (as it was) should remain ~25-35%, just as the performance suggests.

    • +3

That's a good priced build, but these PCs are not the same.

      They are using:

      • A cheap H610 MB vs B660 TUF motherboard
        — We have 4 Dimms for future ram upgrades they have 2
        — You are limited to a Maximum of 32GB on that board, you can go up to 128GB on ours
        — we have 2 M.2 Slots they have 1
      • We are using 3600Mhz C18 Ram, they don't tell you their timings so will probably be 3200Mhz C22
      • They don't tell you what PSU you are using, might be a generic branded one

We sell quality parts, if all you are after is the cheapest $/FPS then theres is better. If you're after good service and a PC with quality components that will last then our deal blows theirs out of the water

Furthermore we are still a lot cheaper.

      • B660 TUF is an overkill for i5 12400f unless you want to upgrade to i7 later.

Asus B660M-A saves you a few bucks with wifi as well:

        https://www.umart.com.au/product/asus-prime-b660m-a-lga-1700…

Pretty sure you guys can get better wholesaler price since the website price is retailing price.

RAM can be 3200mhz with C16 since some 12400f can not run with 3600 mhz since SA voltage is locked:

        https://www.reddit.com/r/intel/comments/vj2kxg/i512400_run_r…

PSU I agree with you but my last build from Techfast is using Gigabyte and have no problem until now.

        • +3

Your parts are cheaper, you are right. Until You scrape the bottom of the barrel you can keep going cheaper. Furthermore, those are not the components I got a cheap price on, so I can't offer them to you.

Our parts are higher quality/better performing, not everyone wants a kia Picanto, some people might want a kia RIO.

We understand this is not your kind of build and that's fine, but we appreciate your feedback. We believe this has been priced pretty well and is:

          • The cheapest build of its kind on the market
          • Has Quality Components
  • -1
    • +2

Not even the same class of build.

      • They are using cheap generic branded A520 Motherboard, we are using a B660 TUF motherboard
        — A cheap H610 MB vs B660 TUF motherboard
        — We have 4 Dimms for future ram upgrades they have 2
        — You are limited to a Maximum of 32GB on that board, you can go up to 128GB on ours
        — You are limited to 2666 Mhz according to their website. This will lead to a performance dip on Ryzen and means the ram they are selling you is not officially compatible with the motherboard
        — Our system us Gen 4 PCIE, theres is gen 3 PCIE
        — we have 2 M.2 Slots they have 1
      • They are using a generic non branded PSU that is not even 80 Plus rated. We don't mess around with Power supplies. They can take out your whole system if something goes wrong
      • We are using 3600Mhz C18 Ram, they don't tell you their timings so will probably be 3200Mhz C22
      • We have a Gen 4 SSD they ahve a Gen 3 SSD
      • Our CPU is newer and faster

These systems are not the same, we sell quality parts, if all you are after is the cheapest $/FPS then theres is better. If you're after good service and a PC with quality components that will last then our deal is better.

      • Thank you for the clarification. It really depends whether the consumer is looking for quality or affordability i guess.

  • Out of curiosity is this build suitable for video editing as well?

    • +4

It can do Video editing just fine, but it also depends on what you are doing. If you are editing a pixar movie we would not recommend it, if you are editing as a hobby, this will do great.

If you are doing editing professionally and need some advice hit us up via live chat and we will see what we can do to help get you a suitable PC.

      • Thanks! My current PC is very old, is able to play Valorant (sort of) but straight up won't run Adobe Premier. Editing just as a hobby.

  • At least replace the stock cooler.

    • -1

You can customise the PC using the customise button and upgrade your cooler!

  • How will it perform with a 1440p monitor?
