  • I've got a $600 Gold membership and I can't get a ticket for the Collingwood game, so how does this one guarantee it? Is it standing room only or something?

    • General admission on level 3. First come first serve.

I’m assuming you don’t have a set reserved seat? You got that flexi seat option?

      • Yeah, no reserved seat, I have to book a ticket for $10 when I want to go. Haven't been able to do it for the Collingwood game for a while now.

        • You need to book early. There were lots of tickets available when they were released a month ago.

          • @jv: What jv said.

I’ve already booked tickets for the bombers game(away game) which is already close to a sell out

            • @Danstar: Coll vs Car in 4 weeks is almost sold out too… 90K+ crowd again I'm guessing.

          • @jv: Yeah, I know, but I think they released like 10 rounds in one hit or something. I can't plan that far ahead :D

    Go Dogs!!

      Where are they going? Tassie?

  • checkout is actually $150. 3 games @ $50 each.

anyone know what general adminssion gets you? entry into the grounds / no seat?

    • +1

It gets you into the ground and you'll get a seat on level 1 or 3 if there are any available

      • Level 3 only for this game against collingwood

  • -1

Note it can't be used for this Friday.

    • but it says "This limited offer is also the best way to guarantee a ticket to our near-sell-out home game against Collingwood on Friday night."

      • There aren't any seats left.

        • That's what I thought. I've got a Gold membership and can't get a ticket

          • @chromium: Well this membership wont help.

When I looked on the weekend, there were probably like 20-30 single seats left spread around the ground.

            • @jv: General admission is usually just rock up and sit on level 1 or 3 in the allocated area, so maybe you can get into there with a membership on Friday?

              • @chromium:

Not when it is sold out

                Call the club and ask…

Not bad for a team in the 8.

Carlton usually waits until they're done and dusted before offering this kind of deal… So usually it's round 4 or so, but this year they think they're still in with a chance.

This is the second time the dogs have had an “membership day”

Even if you just wanted to go to the 1 game, this is great value

      • $50 for 1 game is not good value.

        • its a 3 game membership, so gives you 3 general admission games + scarf and $20 voucher

          • @pooks:

            its a 3 game membership,

I was replying to the comment: "Even if you just wanted to go to the 1 game, this is great value"

            • +1

@jv: It’s not $50 for 1 game though if you decided to only use it for 1 game. It’s also a scarf and $20 voucher. So it’s almost like $10 for 1 game cos the scarf is $20 value

              • -1

                @Danstar:

cos the scarf is $20 value

                That is subjective.
                I don't value a Bulldogs scarf at $20…

                • @jv: But that's how much it costs if you wanted to purchase it…

                  • @Danstar:

                    if you wanted

Yes, 'wanted' is the key word here.

                    • @jv: But you could say that for literally every item you don't want to buy….

                      • @Danstar: I could, but I don't for every item…
It will take up too much time.
