Hell hath no fury like an OzBargainer scorned. This will definitely affect the amount we OzBargainers spend on KFC for at least … well … OK not at all I suppose … but we should probably pretend that it will put us off KFC for a few days. Maybe we could repeatedly include a few scathing comments about this debacle in those surveys that we all do to get the free drink.

Wanted a Zinger and KFC gave the finger! Shop was dead quiet too (staff couldn't help in any way) given the app was overwhelmed by KFC's choice to not increase IT capability to match predictable demand they created. They got lots of free publicity (win for them). Let's see if the usual suspects in the media give the second half of the story (from today's farce) now!

WA people seem to be the only ones who got it due to the time zone difference. App was running pretty smoothly at 4:30pm WA time
Phoned Queen St Mall in Brisbane CBD and they confirmed they would honour the deal if came in person. Went to store and saw them honouring it for other people too which was good of them.
There were around 10 people in front of me because their kiosks were down too, so all orders had to be put through the staff at the registers.
Tried to get deal, wasn't obtainable in the time it was on offer.
Had error with app, Chatswood interchange refused to honour the deal.
What a waste of time.

Same thinking no KFC for the month in protest. I had Red Rooster last night and got 2 peices of their Fried Chicken through their app free
They seriously need to increase the timeframe which we can make this purchase. Might ease the demand on their servers. Or just make it a two times purchase via the app at any time during the 11 days.
