Same bullshit as anyone, I was driving past the kfc at the time so I thought I would duck in. Manager not willing to do anything at all except sell something from the eat in menu at full price. Woeful.

You do realise, (if the app had worked) from the previous promo last year you can just sit at home and place the promo order, once placed then go in-store/drive-thru to redeem it. I don't know why people waste their time going to the store first.

I tried to continue as a guest, but it won't let you check out as a guest without signing in to add payment details. Which feels like it defeats the purpose of checking out as a guest.

Struggling to understand how KFC, a multi-billion dollar company can't test and prepare for the peak demand caused by their own marketing department. I mean, I expect this of our government departments, run by overpaid incompetents, but a multi-national?
Anyhow, they should repeat the offer, because sending a message to the app saying they were surprised by demand, doesn't cut it.
Ironically, an offer meant to build goodwill and awareness, has only pssd off a bunch of people, and raised awareness - possibly not in the way they might have wanted.
