Jelly is usually not even vegetarian, because it's usually - wait for it - gelatin. Which is dead animals' protein.
People are unaware that most cheeses, jelly and jellies (jelly lollies), as well as some cream are straight not vegetarian. Cheeses - esp. the foreign ones - because of the rennet squeezed out of dead calves (it's always listed in the ingredients, you can check), the others because of the aforementioned gelatin.
I wonder how they make all of these in kosher form
@jrchurvnjef: Yeah, there are cheeses with plant-derived rennet (taste the same, doesn't have the EU certificate like the Italian "DOC", but is vegetarian), jelly based on agar-agar as the gelling agent (which makes it vegan) and cream that's just good quality and doesn't need the extra crap.
Not worth the trip just for this.
Depends where you live I guess.
It's certainly something to consider as convenient if you live at Ikea.
