They are cheaper when comparing vs regular fare. Obviously not cheaper when compared to $0 seats or super discounts.

They come out quite often, however most are usually for travel periods 6-9 months in advance. This no fuelsurcharge is pretty good for people who are looking at booking in the coming months where there are no chance of discounted airfares.

can't help remember a time when you would be lucky to get a domestic fare from Brisbane to Melbourne for that sort of price :)
