  • if 4K 30hz. It'll do 60hz at 1080P fine?

    • My guess is yes, it quotes support for 3d, which I believe typically runs at 120Hz on the TV, although not sure if that's coming fromthe bluray or if they are packing frames.

Edit: I believe there is some packing happening, but not sure if it's at the bluray player or the TV

When is 30hz acceptable? I don't think it should even be listed as a serious option.

      Starfield?

        "it just works": Todd

        at 30fps?

$15 is fair given you acknowledge its 4k30 but you can buy cheapo sub $50 units w/ 4k60 off whatever that work fine

Anyone considering this needs to fully appreciate the limitations in linking a PC or console to this and expecting full capability graphics. This may be marketed as "4K capable", but at 30Hz you're going to be greatly limiting what your devices can normally output. I have a similar "4K capable" multi-splitter, and it's now kept in the cupboard useless. The 30Hz output limitation is very noticeable.

Most video, ie movie/tv sources are 24 to 30 Hz. Unless you are deinterlacing (yuck) to 50/60.

Yes, this is not intended for 4K desktop or games.

if you truly have a pc or a ps5 that is truly pushing out 4k60 then you can afford a proper switcher

i have a box full of these (i used do this a bit for work) and a cheapo 4k60 4 port w/ digital out is well under $40

i would treat this is a FHD switch that can do shitty 4k lol

        • Yep! For not much more definitely get a splitter that's 4K@60.

        • Any links?

I am confused it said one output but additional said only one screen can display at one time?

So this is HDMI switch not splitter?

    • yeah their language is wrong

      from manual:

Support connect five HDMI sources to one HDMI display

(Only one screen can display at one time, screens CANNOT display simultaneously)

      this is a switch

  • 30hz. HARD PASS!
