Gaming PC: R5 7600, 4070 Ti 12GB, 32GB 5200MHz RAM, 1TB NVMe SSD, B650m MOBO, 850W 80+ Gold PSU $2069.10 + Delivery @ BPC Tech

870
PC10

This deal is back at $20.10 more (increased base price, but with a 10% discount now). However, this time you can get a copy of Diablo IV and a keyboard and mouse. Also given the 10% is taken off upgrades as well, you can probably get together a pretty nice 4080 rig.

Suggested value of mouse $99 and Keyboard $70 (dare say these are cheaper elsewhere)

Note: I've manually adjusted price/link for the Lexar SSD , as this wasn't on PCParkPicker, but available at BPC for $79. Also PSU adjusted to BPC price of $169.

I might suggest adding the 4080 GPU and 6000Mhz DDR5 32GB RAM (6000Mhz RAM being the sweet spot for Ryzen 7000 series CPUs)
https://www.tomshardware.com/news/amd-confirms-ddr5-6000-ram…

My pick might be the below. Coming in at $2,562.30.

Potentially adding a cooler and Wifi card.

great deal for the 4080 build

wonder if i could get a different case

    • Not a massive fan of this case either. What case are you thinking? I'm tempted to grab this deal this time around.

      • +1

        Case looks fine to me…

      • +1

Since the motherboard is micro atx, you can probably swap it into this or this depending on the PSU and GPU clearance.

      • I'm wondering not so much about this particular deal but these sorts of pre-built systems in general, are they usually cheaper or more expensive than buying the parts yourself, taking into account postage etc? Because putting them together is kinda fun

        • +1

I've tried putting together a similar build across 3-4 different parts vendors and it's always $300+ more in total, inclusive of all costs like postage.

          • @kojihama: Thanks, maybe I should start keeping an eye on these then.

  • interesting.. can I choose a different case, e.g. fractal design series ??

  • What is your take on their 4090 + 7800x3d deal, as it is back in stock and 10% off?

    https://www.bpctech.com.au/product/kp-iceage-a3d02-kraken-po…

    • That's a big price increase compared to the 4080 deal but i guess if you really need the extra power it's worthwhile. I assume you would be using it for work purposes so it should pay itself back in time saved rendering.

      • +1

        Yes, "work" purposes 🙄

      • +1

work purposes in x3d cpu 🙄

        • Plenty of work purposes that are gpu bottlenecked even with a 4090. Though in those cases you might as well buy a 4090 yourself and skimp out on the other parts.

  • Is this still a good deal without the 4080 upgrade?

    • I think so given the bonuses.

  • +10

Not going to downvote this deal but will detail my mixed experience with BPCtech from late last/early this year.

Ordered one of their systems right after christmas and recieved it early in the New Year so no issues with build time. However had the following issues:
    1. Ordered a black system but recieved a completely white one - wasn't overly fussed by this but didn't realise until I opened the system at home and wasn't informed of this change. Probably should have double checked the parts too.
    2. Copy of COD and Midnight Suns were promotional freebies actually shown on the listing but after speaking to them on pickup, multiple calls and emails turns out no one at BPC knew how to redeem these and did not recieve either, wasted time and was sent in circles. Only after messaging the rep here was I given a COD code which luckily worked, nothing on Midnight Suns but they did also give me a basic keyboard, mouse and headset pack as compensation.

So beware any promotional deals linked with your purchase and if you have any issues you'll get a better response from the rep here than if you contact them directly.

    • I thought you go to Nvidia, register your GPU (within the promotional timeframe) and they give you the code. That's what I did…

      • +1

Long story short: False advertising as the brand of the GPU they used wasn't part of the promo

        • Big yikes!

  • +4

    Thanks!

Finally stopped the HODL and got the 6000mhz + 4080 deal before EOFY. Was holding out for a $2Kish 7900XT, but for about $2.5K, I'm happy with the 4080 to free my mind from the regret of 12GB VRAM on the 4070ti. After a life of consoles and mid-range PCs, so incredibly excited for something that will drive my LG OLED as it deserves, for many years to come.

    • c2?

      • C1! :~)

    • +2

Congrats, enjoy your new rig. That's a nice combo. Next 4 years fixed.

      • Don't tempt the game devs, they'll find a way to make even the 4080 a low performing card!

        • If they did it genuinely like they did with crysis 1, I will pay the nvidia tax and upgrade. But now, its all a shitshow.

          • @[Deactivated]: I honestly don't think there will be a real crysis moment for the newer gen of gamers coming in, games are already at the peak of how good they can look like. You can compare how ps4 gen games look compared to new games releasing now, feels super incremental with a sprinkle of ray tracing.

Maybe there will be something like that for the vr space (copium), though that platform has a ton of other issues that make it not suitable for mainstream use.

            • @JerraJones: UE5 demos are still waay better than current gen games, I am hoping a crysis kind of game poping up with that.

But the only problem is they would be developed for conslows first which already eats into the quality, and then port them to PC, which eats into the optimizations.

So I dont think it would ever happen again.

This is basically exactly the same machine as the Techfast deal

    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/775035

    • +4

double size Ram, arguably better case and PSU?

    • May be the Mobo in this deal (Gigabyte B650M DS3H Micro ATX Form) is more superior than the Mobo in TF's deal (Gigabyte B650M-K Motherboard), do the homework to prove it for yourself ?

  • Need an upgrade mobo option imo

  • +1

When people say 4080 deal, are they just using this link and modifying the GPU to 4080?

    • Yes

    • +2

Yeah, in essence you're paying $450 or so to upgrade to a 4080. I'd also upgrade the RAM to 6000Mhz

      • Wow, awesome.. thanks mate! I was close to pulling the trigger on the TechFast deal but a 4080 would add another year of future proofing. Would there be any concern over the ssd? m3 v m4? The description just says high speed ssd.

      • +1

@Testeagle thanks mate, I read through all your posts and given you ordered it gave me a bit of confidence to also order the same build. I did the RAM and GPU upgrade but also added the rgb cooler. I figured the cooler would be better than stock cooler at a minimum. Here's to hoping it's about 3 weeks.

  • Does it come with warranty? It doenst mention in the website.

    • I think BPC does 2 years standard.

    • +2

In Australia, you get consumer guarantees regardless of what the seller says.

  • Not seeing the option to upgrade the GPU?

    • +1

      Check under VGA options

      • +1

Oh I see now. how embarrassing haha thank you

  • -1

Can you get it for me under 2k?

    • Save $70 and buy the original build?

  • What are peoples experience with bpctech?

A quick look at google reviews points out a few concerning issues but curious to hear some direct feedback.

Close to pulling the trigger on this one.

    • +3

It’s like playing Russian roulette. Most people come out unscathed, but if you’re one of the unlucky ones expect to waste weeks going around in circles and getting nowhere.

I haven’t received my order from March, after they ignored me for weeks I went for a credit card chargeback, but even that takes time.

      • Have you tried their rep here?

    • Hit and miss.

They're not totally transparent, but if you email or call, they will respond to you and help you out.

My system came DOA. They paid for the shipping back, fixed it (upgraded some parts), and the system has been purring. You also need to install the drivers so you don't get BSOD.

If they're rushed, testing will be non-existent. If they test, it will be okay. I assume they're not as busy now.

Would I buy from them again? Yeah, the experience to get it repaired was really good. They listened.

  • +5

FYI - I rang them earlier today to ask on ETA and they are estimating 3 weeks.

  • +2

Hoping to see a 7900 XT deal. Not a fan of the 12GB VRAM in a $1k+ card

  • PC10 is there anywhere i can add this or is it auto applied?

    • Add it at the checkout, before payment. I missed it the first time looking.

  • +3

Just want to throw in my 2 cents about BPC tech as I have seen some negative comments about them lately. Ordered the 7900XT deal a few weeks back, took about 12 days from the day I ordered to receiving it.
I did ask to change something within that time frame too.
If you have an issue going on they will respond to your email quite fast usually within a few hours however, if you ask a general question you might not even hear back from them for 3 or so days. You can just call though.

Overall I’m quite happy, build was done clean and nice.

Edit: Not trying to make light of people who have had issues, this is just my experience.

    • +1

I believe they're a good service. They just didn't anticipate the 4080 deal being so popular and got smashed.

  • Does this come in white?

  • So ultimately what is more important, a better GPU, or better mobo?
I put together a parts list from a Jays2Cents video at the start of the year, I'm wanting to understand if OPs deal is better than my build below, based on this pc being used for gaming, streaming, and possibly dabbling in a bit of 3d modelling.

    https://au.pcpartpicker.com/user/Natcoso9955/saved/HTMGJx
(starting with only 1 set of RAM)

Note: I'm coming from console gaming (PS4), and an ASUS ROG laptop with a 970M (which i havnt gamed on in about 3 years due to issues), so anything will feel like an upgrade really, haha

    • +1

A better GPU is way more important than a motherboard. The GPU in your build is a generation older than OP's post. Looking quickly at benchmarks it's about a 50% bump from a 3070 to a 4070ti, which is pretty big. Your build is also about $350 more. The build OP posted is way better.

  • Thanks OP. Have been looking at all the PC deals lately and finally bit the bullet.

Does anyone know how to redeem the Diablo 4 promo? Nvidia website says we have to log in using the PC with qualifying GPU installed but if the PC is 3 weeks away it will be outside the promo period..?

    • It means you wont get the deal, you will get the next one associated with the card.

    • +1

Read the T&C's, you have until mid-July to redeem. Assuming they are hitting the 3w mark you should be ok. It does say you get some sort of token / code with the GPU so I hope they remember to put it in.

      • Just an FYI when I called them they said they don't provide any codes. The "retailer" isn't BPC you need to register your graphics card on the GPU manufacturer's website (in this case I believe it's AORUS) to get the code. There is a link at the bottom of the site.

  • +2

    Just pulled the trigger.

upgraded to closed loop cooling, 4080, 7800X3D, windows, with 2tb extra nvme and wifi! Also redemption of the k/b and mouse. Not sure how to redeem diablo 4 but i dare say that BPC will explain there end unless someone knows. Pretty happy with price this pc is a beast.

    • How do you know what specific compents are going to be such as the mobo? Im so close to pulling the trigger on the same specs but dont want them to cut costs with cheap components

    • Nice! This convinced me to pull trigger on 4080, 7700 and wifi. [have a spare 2tb nmve & sata that I will pop into later].
As last system I bought was pre-covid [i7 laptop with 2070max], so time to upgrade and depreciate this one over the next few tax cycles.

  • so close, yet so far. I made it to the checkout, but the 'PC10' code failed to apply. The coupon seems to have expired, but this post shows 2 days should remain on the deal.
    Thanks.

    • It also says ''Coming soon 14/07'' so maybe that's why?

  • @Testeagle
Hi, just wondering if you will be offering the same offer again? I noticed that the price was increased and the coupon no longer works.
    Thanks

    • Sorry mate, I don't work for BPC nor am I associate. I just check their site daily and see what's going on. I'm on the hunt for a PC myself, mine is about to die and I should of grabbed this deal while it was still going.

  • Has anyone who bought this received their GPU details for the Diablo 4 key? I'm asking them for the details since the 12th and keep getting told it will be sent the next day. I think today is the last day to redeem from the GPU manufacturer.

  • Has anyone received any progress on their orders? Still waiting here.

    • +1

I followed up with them yesterday morning. They were waiting on stock refreshment, cases and gpu specifically, for my 'parts only' order which included a 4080. They're expecting stock Monday.

      • Cheers, sounds like they're coming soon

      • Update below

  • +4

Have called today for an update. Here's my findings:
    - 4080 out of stock until approx late July, apparently general supply issues affecting all sellers
    - Can sidegrade to the 7900 XTX (told the Gigabyte Aorus) for no cost, but I would personally rather wait for the 4080 at that cost
    - Can downgrade to the 4070ti (in stock now) and take $200 - $300 off the cost. Doesn't seem worth, also factoring in gimped 12GB VRAM. 7900 XT out of stock.
    - Corsair 4000D case out of stock, coming back in likely mid-July
    - They didn't think the Lian Li LANCOOL II Mesh case was a suitable alternative giving the bigger sizing of the top end cards, but given the manufacturer has supplied compatibility and the dimensions seem to fit, it shouldn't be an issue, and they would be able to swap to that for that case that is in stock now

    TL;DR
    - Can wait until likely mid-July for the 4080 build
    - Could likely sidegrade to 7900 XTX and LANCOOL II case and they can build it right away
    - If you've got a 4070ti build being held up by the case, you can likely ask for them to swap to LANCOOL II (try your luck)
    - I'm choosing to wait for the 4080

    • +1

Thanks for the update. Wish there was some consistency in customer service. Yesterday I called about a sidegrade to the 7900 XT as well and was told no further changes can be made due to it messing with the build…even though it is essentially a fairly equivalent card.

      • Very inconsistent customer service then, as the fellow I got was happy to spend 30+ mins going through potential solutions with graphics cards and cases (but as 7900XT was out of stock, that wasn't one of the options). However – if your order is for the 4070 Ti, what's the delay? Just the case?

Considering there's genuinely non-high-end 4080 stock shortage across multiple vendors (not simply BPC taking too many orders), I'm less salty about the situation, and I guess this is just part of the cost to pay for getting the good deal.

        • +2

There's no delay for me, it's going into build today. Just a bit worried about the 12GB VRAM situation in the 4070Ti I bought. Would rather have the 7900 XT but it's been OOS for a while. ETA was mid July I believe.

          • @orbz: Thanks all for sharing. Just wondering if anyone purchased BPC's Premium Dispatch Service for $99 as part of their build?

            • @raywu1983: I did and it’s now past the 9-11 business days dispatch. 4070ti. I wonder if I can get my 100 bucks back. When did you order yours Orbz?

    • Will this affect the diablo 4 redemption?

      • I would think so… redemption end date is 13th July…

        • Gave them a call myself and got the same reply about 4080 being out of stock.
Apparently getting more stock this coming Monday and my build should commence shortly. Was given the time frame of 2 weeks.

          Ordered on the 8th June

          • @thisisnotakn: Thanks for sharing. I ordered the 4080 as well on 8th June. Called late last week and was advised more stock coming this week.

My order has progressed to "Parts reserved".

Also ordered the Premium Dispatch Service.

    • +1

Quite disappointing to be honest. Had read about unreliability of BPC Tech but chose to go ahead anyway. Regretting it now

    • This is disappointing. I thought BPC might have improved their game. My apologises if I've led someone into a long delay.

Thanks for sharing your info @Doy

  • My 4070Ti order arrived today. First impressions:
    * I asked for a swap to equiv spec RGB RAM (+ costs). Pleasantly surprised to see that I got it included and with what looks like CL34 RAM rather than the CL40 I was expecting.
    * Cable management to my untrained eye looks good and no obvious mess in the build
    * I was expecting a 4070TI Gigabyte Eagle model. Ended up with an ASUS TUF card instead, which I don't mind. ASUS's SKU comes with an anti-sag support. It's basically a metal lipstick that you put under the corner of the GPU to support it. It has a magnetic base so it doesn't move around which I like.
    * Packaging was done nicely. No concerns about physical damage.

    Overall pretty happy so far.

    • Did you get any emails after the first confirmation email regarding the shipping dates and build status?

      • Yes you get an email for parts reserved, going into build and shipped out. I got tracking numbers too.

        • How long did it take between each?

          • @pkei: Parts reserved: Tuesday
            Build: Wednesday afternoon
            QC passed: Thursday afternoon
            Shipped: Friday afternoon

  • Thanks, guess I'm still on the waiting game. Haven't even gotten email for parts reserved yet

    • I'm in the same boat. I called yesterday and they said they were waiting on GPU for mine (4070ti). I ordered on 7 June.

  • +3

    Update 2:
Cases are back in stock, 4080s likely coming in later this week. They have asked me to ring over the weekend or early next week for another update if things aren't moving. Inconsistent communication, but looks to be an earlier ETA than originally quoted.

    • Appreciate the check-in @Doy. Mine's yet to be built but I came in expecting this potentially might have happened. While mine might be slightly delayed, it's still an awesome price for a PC with a 4080. Doubt anything would've changed from a pricing perspective in 3-4 weeks.

  • +1

Quick update on my 4080 order.

    Parts reserved: Fri 23/6
    Build: Tue 27/6
    QC passed: Tue 27/6
    Shipped: Wed 28/6

Looks like the 4080 builds are progressing now

  • +1

For the Diablo 4 redemption, Asus is being difficult about it. Even though the purchase was eligible, they have denied the code claim saying it's not eligible/bought outside of the event period (???). Now chasing through customer service separately.

If you get an ASUS card better try and sort this out before the promo redemption is over.
