  • If you like your chicken medium rare you don't need this.

    • What if your chicken has a fever?

Give him a nice hot bowl of human noodle soup.

        • Egg noodle soup… because the egg came first.

      Same same but different

      • Wogboy?

  • Does this measure internal temp or just external

    • external

These are great for refunding cold uber eats orders.

    • Brilliant

    • Wait, are you serious?

      • Yup. Chips cold take a pic and usually refund

        • I wonder who bears the cost of that - Uber or the restaurant

  • @Inkbird the coupons don't seem to stack. Am I missing something?

    • just print "PWECBT20" in the code line,
the code INKBIRD11 will be used automatically

      • -1

Yep, tried that multiple times on browser and app. Keeps getting "This code can't be applied to your order."

maybe change an ebay account for a try ?

"For Heating food, Barbecue, Pizza Oven, and Daily use (NOT for humans)"

There goes my plan for cooking people.

    • you can cook em…just don't try heating em

Could I use this to measure the temperature of the sun and other stars/planets?

  • So useless for bbq action if you want to know when your steak is medium etc?

I currently use one of their needle food thermometers for that quite successfully but always on the hunt for new tech! Haha

    • Yes buy the inkbird digital meat thermometer. Awesome.

    • +1

This is for surface temperatures to help you know if the pizza stone or griddle is up to a temp you want before putting your food on mostly

  • Good stuff. Very handy to have around everywhere.

  • handy, my toddler thinks these are mini hammers so i go through about one a month

    • +9

You must get strange looks showing up to events with a different toddler monthly…

  • I'm only a little pedantic… but I actually use one of these, to make sure food has been heated through properly in the microwave.

  • I find it really useful to test the temp of my pan before I thrown in my food, things like taking the outside temp of my steaks (although I also have a metal probe thermometer for roasts etc), spot testing the heat on my food like soups and in general it was a no brainer purchase for me.
To be honest I really bought it because one of my fav cooking youTubers Made With Lau use it a lot. :-)

  • Mine came out to $19.93 but I forgive you OP, thank you. 😊

  • In the description the device apparently helps with pizza making. Just wondering how it is supposed to be used to help with pizza process? Do you measure pizza oven temp when pre-heating?

    • If you have a pizza oven and want to know the temperature of the space where it can be awkward to put a normal thermometer and read off it.
Would be logical to just attach a thermometer directly to the pizza oven but some have design flaws and warrants the use of this.

    • As gas or wood pizza ovens don't distribute heat evenly and pizza has to be turned, this provides quick readings for different areas. Once you know your oven and dough, you won't need this device as much, but good to have it handy.

  • +3

this unit uses 9v battery, if you have eneloops might want one that uses 2x1.5v.

    • +2

GM320 is a good model, works fine with 2x AAA eneloops, about $15 on AliExpress.

  • Can I check my baby's temperature with this?

    • no, not for body temperature

  • Is this any better than the dozens of other similarly priced ones on ebay? Doesn't seem like a bargain unless it is

  • ONLY WAY TO FROTH YA MILK. I usually take my milk up to 66 degrees. :)
