Wait, did you not get this code from your butler??

    • +1

I did. From my chef. But given the code was already live, I need not credit him.

  • Has anyone tried out the Xiaomi Mi Smart Air Purifier 4 and would recommend?

    • +1

I have 4 pro with the carbon filter , it is a beast had it for about 6 months been in dusty and smelly environments and haven't replaced the filter yet … I use in combination with a delongi dehumidifier periodically and gets rid of all the dampness and musky smells and dust particles

    • Just my $0.02 but I found ALL the standard "filter" air purifiers to be junk and I have a Xiaomi Mi Air Purifier PRO H w/ HEPA Carbon Activated filter. I've gone back to ion/ozone type and I won't be looking back. Yes I am aware people say ozone is not good for you, but every time I walk in to my bedroom it smells clean like a Swiss mountain top, even after the Mrs has made some foul smelling casserole for the dog. Whereas I couldn't tell the difference from the filter types.
Only stopped using ozone before bcos the one I had made an annoying buzzing sound after a couple years use.

Xiaomi Mi Air Purifier PRO and the other carbon filter types: 3/10
      Daikin MC70LPVM: 7/10
      Daikin MC55YPVM: ?/10

Xiaomi Mi Air Purifier PRO works w/ Alexa and I can schedule its operation… MC55YPVM remembers the state at power loss, so now I will schedule it with a Tasmota plug.

    • Haven't tried v4 but have tried v3 and I wouldn't recommend due to poor dust detection.

Generally you run purifiers in auto mode but with these I had to choose between an auto mode that wouldn't spin up to clear dust or an always high mode that is noisy (it seemed to clear dust fine just not detect it). Purifiers should mostly be set and forget.

Would not recommend unless they've fixed this in the new model

Worked fine for detecting and clearing smoke and cooking smells and such.

  • Lol… good deal

  • "This one is for all of the Chinese eBay sellers I believe."

How did you work that out?

    • +5

      Well my chef told me.

  • 10:00am AEDT

AEDT? In May? Not that daylight savings during winter wouldn't be worth considering, but we don't operate on daylight savings time during the winter half of the year.

    • Depends…if you're in QLD then you don't operate on daylight savings any time of the year! :)

  • Can this code be used if a "make an offer" to the seller - and its accepted.

    • Don't see why not if it's available in the listing.

If seller accepts your offer it will be automatically added to your cart. Apply the code in the cart then checkout as usual.

      • Thanks !!

I'm trying hard to find something to buy here!

You know it's a dud when no deals using the code are going up within the 1st hour of the code.

I'm a Chinese, but I want to say, it's really Chinese discount style, raise the price up, then apply the discount. After applying the discount, most of the price is still much much higher than how much it is sold in China

Saw quite a few jacks, but did get some good prices on a fair bit of toolery from a place called autotool-store20 (most of the stuff had 8% off for multiple items, then the 20%) For the stuff I bought (bearing press tools, slide hammer kit etc etc) it was cheaper than any other ebay or non ebay price I could find.

(dunno if I can mention the seller… but otherwise be pretty hard to find. I'm a tool loving fella that has nothing to do with this ebay seller, or any other seller, just love toolery and bargains)

Don't buy till the last day. SB will allow upsized cashback with this coupon. It is a pattern copied several times.

  • How to find the items with this code?

    • As per the OP….

"Eligible Items" means items listed on eBay.com.au where a link to these terms and conditions and the coupon redemption code PWECBT20 is found in the item listing, or the item appears in the following URL:
      https://www.ebay.com.au/e/coupon-offers/save-on-tech-may23?p…

      • Link is not working, it just takes one to the homepage :(

        • Worked for me. Thanks!

Even I don’t know where to start looking

    • Till SB deal appears on the first page: this coupon eligible for 10+% cashback.

"This one is for all of the Chinese eBay sellers I believe"

    Doesn't work for Bing Lee…

  • Hmmm, bought some stuff last week from ebay which this code covers… Oh well…

    • Free returns eBay Plus, purchase it again with the code, refund the first order with the brand new item from the 2nd order

      • Nice tip but for some reason I refuse use ebay plus? Not sure why. Even they offered it pretty much for free I still did not take up their offer.
Who knows why? Though I don't use ebay that much, maybe about 20 purchases a year or so, I did not see the incentive.
        Thanks.
