      • I think we need to continue few more steps after seeing the trade in ID. Need to add credit card details and accept thier additional charges etc.. Once I completed that it worked for me

  • Does trading in the galaxy buds pro ($1 trade in value) qualify for the extra $500?

    Because I have a note 10+ that is giving $90 trade in value, but I can sell that myself if the buds pro qualify for the extra $500.

  • Just wondering if you trade in and old phone but dont send it in and then reuse the same phone for another attempt, will it work, Does Samsung keep a record of the earlier details of the first trade in.

      • Sorry is that yes it will work again or yes samsung keeps records (eg IMEI) and the second attempt wont work

        • They check if the IMEI is used before. My phone had 2 IMEI, I f'ed up during my first attempt of order, it won't accept the trade code when I tried again.

          So I used the 2nd IMEI to get another code to order this.

          To be honest with you, horrible horrible experience with these Koreans.

          • @sqheaven: If you order, notice the 50$ sign up code might be skipped on final step, you have to re-apply it.

            I tried to press continue shopping to go back to cart and that's how I lost my first trade code.

            The support told me it's used. Lol even though my offer did not go through.

            So I used the 2nd IMEI from the same phone to get a new code. It did not work for couple of attempts and then finally, magically it started working.

            1343$ for 512G 12G phone in black. 34$ Cashback instantly tracked.

            I will send the phone back since it's cracked lol works perfectly, otherwise. It was 1$ trade.

      Try again. It never gave me any issue. I put it again and again and it worked every time. Be careful with trade up code.

        Was able to stack it just yesterday (28/4/23).

          • @sqheaven: EDIT: Newsletter sign up email has to be the the same email use for samsung account for the purchase for the code to work.

            So yeah mine work again haha

      i grabbed the newsletter voucher yesterday, and applied it just now, seems to work.. it took about a minute to load on samsungs site though.

    How are you guys getting the orders through?

    Once I put in my trade up ID, it says "You cannot proceed with Trade-in as the Trade-in ID is invalid".

    I've reinstalled the app many times and got new codes but all invalid.

    I just want to buy a phone and the experience so far has been horrible!!!

    Any tips on how to get the trade ID through?

    • For me when i finally got my old s8 phone to be alive to run the trade in app, the trade ID generate didnt work when i picked instore drop off. Swtich to delivery then it worked…(need to add cc detail and agree on few things).

    I can't find instructions on what they want to be sent back.

    Not getting the $500 bonus anymore after I used the trade id from my Fitbit inspire. The chat agent told me after 20 minutes of troubleshooting that probably the allocation has exhausted. Bloody hell!

      Their logistics department is completely F*kd.
      Apparently they have gone through a complete overhaul this year and are still experiencing some ‘teething problems’

      Ordered one back in March in Metro Vic, took 20 days to deliver.
      Even pickup orders take almost a week to be ready. (Store rep told me).

      Anyways, stay patient and you’ll definitely get your order.

      I'm a regular online customer and their deliveries have been big hits or misses for me. I bought a monitor and it arrived promptly according to the scheduled delivery date. I bought a washing machine and it never came for more than 3 months. Had to go through Fair Trading to actually get them to do something apart from the months of empty promises from the clueless reps. Personally, I would've never bought from them over brick and mortar retailers like JB if it weren't for the extra or sometimes quite significant discounts.

      they won't charge $500 bonus for sure. I also didn't get charged for the admin fee of $60, but heard few got charged with it.

          The same phone you may not be able to as they normally block the imei if you don't send it

    Thank you so much OP for this fantastic deal. I ordered it on Monday night as the loyalty discount took so long to send and it arrived at the Sydney store yesterday and picked it up yday.

  • Did anyone receive Bonus Buds2 using this deal? I've been told my claim has been rejected because free Buds2 can only be claimed with $200 off, not if you also get trade-in bonus and/or $50 marketing discount. Obviously, I'm challenging it.

    • How were you told? I've received zero comms from them one way or another since submitting the form for the free buds.
