    Loyalty Voucher stackable?

    • +1

I don't have and cannot confirm.

      • +9

Thanks for confirming you can't confirm.

Thank you for thanking him. It’s important to give feedback.

      • Yes

    • +2

      Yes.

    • +1

I was able to but YMMV as some reported they couldn't stack it or the voucher was removed at the checkout stage

    • +1

It is, but only the 10% loyalty voucher, the 15% does not stack - source just bought an S23

  • My s8 (barely used) battery unfortunately popped.

    • +1

You still can use it to get the trade-in bonus (and $1 for the phone, probably)

      • My undamaged s8 isn't even worth $1 according to the trade-in app haha.

      • Got and old S8 that wont turn on, getting $0 indicated value on the samsung site as expected.
I'm guessing for this trade in, need to be able to generate a trade in ID to get the offer so mine wont do. Or am i wrong? haha

        • Haha why have you kept a faulty phone? As a souvenir lol

          • @sqheaven: Yes a souvenir haha.
Well it was function till last month, its not brick brick yet, just the screen all black when turned on but can connect to pc/charge etc.

            • @anam: Did you buy it in Australia?

              • @sqheaven: yep May 2020 from JB, i think its past any warranty haha

                • @anam: I think even if it's trade in value 0, you can still get the offer. Check the website. For me, i bought it overseas, it says my device in not eligible for trade up.

Can redeem for a free pair of Galaxy buds 2 via Samsung member by 30 April.

    • +6
      • What are the conditions for this TIA

      • is this even legit? jotform?

        • +2

It is. I received this link in the same email in which I received the loyalty voucher.

    • What's the minimum conditions for that ?

    • is this offer gone?

      • same question…Couldn't see anywhere any mention about this offer now, may be expired on 30th April.

        • Offer is still on until may 4 at Samsung. JB finished. Newsletter and loyalty discount only claimable online.

  • What does it come down to for the base S23?

    • +1

Its $749 then subtract your trade in value for final cost.

      • that's quite the deal!

  • +5

Email Samsung Loyalty and say you are a long standing Samsung customer. They will call you, and will provide you with a 10% discount voucher if doing trade in, and/or 15% discount voucher if not doing trade in (I managed to get both).

    [email protected]

    • Were you able to stack both?

    • +3

Can you stack vouchers? e.g. Samsung newsletter sign-up bonus $50 coupon?

      • +4

Yes can stack with newsletter voucher. (I could last month with the S23U deal).

    • +3

How long do they take to call?

      • +2

        Couple of hours for me

    • Any idea if they offer a reward or coupon if you say you are swapping from Apple versus longstanding apple customer?

      • They offered a $100 voucher before. Not sure if they do anymore

      • Not anymore no, or at least it doesn't apply to S23 (S22 and flip only iirc)

  • +4

I'm waiting around for another $800 bonus trade in they did in May.
I got the email but only saw it after it was expired.

    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/762657

    • +1

I am guessing they would remove the $200 promotional discount once that $800 discount comes around. So basically $100 better than the current deal, which is still significantly better, but the last one was targeted so

  • +1

Has anyone actually been able to validate or confirm if any of these stack?

    • Samsung Education discount
    • Samsung Loyalty Bonus
    • One-off discount code from Support Agent
    • Newsletter Sign-up Coupon

Interested in this deal but need to OzBargain it.

    • +2

From my understanding the current best deal is:

      $200 of RRP offer
      $500 trade in bonus
      10% off Voucher loyalty
$100 off voucher iphone to Samsung Switch
      $50 sign up bonus
      Free buds2

The EDU shop might have it's own discount, but I haven't seen anyone get a better deal from it compared to the above.

      • Thanks for that, appreciate it. Did someone validate that works? Specifically adding multiple coupon codes doesn't normally work on shopping carts so, wondering if that works.

Regarding the loyalty voucher and the Samsung switch voucher, I thought it was one or the other, i.e. they reward you for swapping, or they reward you for not swapping. Would love to hear any insights of people who have managed to do this, epic deal if so.

        • +1

          Yes it works 100%

In order to get the 10% and $100 off code you need to contact chat.
People have mentioned that they contacted them 2 times to get each code and that they did stack.

The codes are only valid for a few days after you get them.

          • +2

@Pizza The Hutt: Tried chat 4 times but no luck for the $100 voucher. They keep saying not available.

            • @SR9: Mabye try tomorrow during the day, it can be hit or miss based on the Agent you get.

            • +2

@SR9: You have to contact them using an Apple phone - safest option is to use Safari

              • @SupR: Can they tell? I used laptop to chat to them

                • @SR9: Supposedly yes - when I did it in the previous deal, they said they couldn't verify I was on an apple device and to try again from the apple phone, then they gave me the voucher.

            • +1

@SR9: Same here, tried multiple agents, different conversations, they all said those discounts don't exist anymore

        • +1

"We do not have loyalty voucher applicable for the S23 series. My apologies."

          • -2

@wonaldng: Same here, multiple agents. No Apple swapping to Samsung code, no loyalty voucher, no other discounts available for S23. Don't think it works, haven't seen anyone claim to stack them either

            • +1

@rekke: I got a more specific response today - "That offer ended on March 31st" sounds like the apple to samsung promo is no more

      • Can the $100 iPhone to Samsung switch be obtained in store?

    • +1

How do you get the newsletter sign up coupon? I don't get any prompts on the Samsung website. Cheers

  • Has any website got the valuations for trade-in as opposed to having to download the app to check?

    • +2

The deal link takes you there, scroll down and search your phone model for value.

  • Any idea how much this works out for the s23 plus?

    • +1

Its $999 then subtract your trade in value for final cost

  • is not the jb Hi-Fi one better?

    • +1

I think the JB trade-in is more strict about what devices are eligible plus you can't redeem the Buds2

    • +2

You can stack additional deals with samsung. I got the S23 for $623 with 10% discount, $50 newsletter sign up, stacked on top of the trade in promo

Why would Samsung make it so complicated. Just drop the RRP

  • This imei blocked and can't move to the next step. I have an esim from amayasim and it has a different imei - asarrhhhh

  • Does anyone know if I can do this in-store as well, or only online?

  • I have a S8 with cracked screen, can I get 1$?

    • Yes, that's exactly what I had.

      • Do you have to send the cracked phone back?

        • +1

          Answer is YESS LOL

If you don't, you lose your security deposit and a 60$ late fee

  • anyone else getting Sorry, "due to an error, trade-in service is unavailable at the moment"

  • +5

Keep in mind the 256 GB model only has 8GB ram. All other models have 12GB, even the 256GB s22 ultra from last year had 12GB of ram.

8GB is fine, but it's not what you'd expect in an Ultra Premium handset in 2023. Most mid-range Xiaomi phones (~$500) have 8gb of RAM.

  • +3

Thanks everyone for the posts and comments.

I got my loyalty voucher by emailing [email protected], they called me after a couple of hours and asked for the IMEI for my trade-in and emailed me a 10% voucher code.

    Just bought a new Samsung S23 with a $1 trade-in (that I won't send in), $400 trade in bonus, $50 newsletter sign-up and 10% loyalty voucher.

Total cost came to $623, of which I'll expect Asurion to deduct $31 from my card when I don't return my old phone.

    • They will also take $60 admin fee as the non return

      • +3

The $30 is the admin fee for a phone that's worth $1 not sent it.

        • do you lose the $500 bonus if you dont send the trade in phone???
          I bought the S23 ultra for $1,100 -

          $200 0ff
          $500 trade in bonus
          10% loyalty
          $50 new subscriber
          earbuds
          $15 tradein value

I am thinking of not sending in the pixel 4a in - and wondering what i lose by not sending it in.

    • I did the same and just got off the phone. Now I'm waiting for the email now. Only thing is that I could not get the $100 voucher for switch from Apple that people have been talking about. Tried so many times on chat today but no luck.

      • Yeah I didn't bother with that switch voucher, from reading the comments Samsung chat have stopped giving it out

        • I managed to get the switch voucher but it doesn't seem to stack? Once entered, it reverts and doesn't actually reduce the price.

Anyway, still can't get the thing to work because of the ""due to an error, trade-in service is unavailable at the moment" - the trade in experience has always been horrendous!!

  • Are people getting tradein systems error now..? Or is it my tradin code expired..?
