Convenient for storage, I suppose, but I really don't like how this type loads (what may be) the thinnest part of a bike's top-tube - a double-butted tube is thinnest in the middle (https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRJfo31…).

Yeah I wouldn't put my bike on that rack. Seems too flimsy and looks like any bike next to each other would collide constantly
