    Jack post would like this

Took the family there for lunch a few months ago.
I know they would get charged a lot for rent, but it was really expensive for simple stuff with cheap ingredients, so won't bother again.

    • Worth going occasionally. I find the stacks are always perfect and great service. Can get a bit noisy in there when busy. Good after a movie. Assume now with this offer it would get very busy from 8

    • Normal prices aren't so good, but the specials are. I took my mum there for breakfast on Tuesday and got 2pc bacon 2 eggs and 3 small pancakes for $10 each

Paying full price at Pancake Parlour is for those that pay full price at Kathmandu…

        • Or spotlight

  • Already have the loyalty account so don't care about sharing my details.
Now just to work out how to get 2+ of them at once so don't have to share a single short stack with my partner.

We just went - no issue using 2 barcodes for 1 table (but best to check when you visit).

Maybe two thirds full at 20:30.

      Thanks OP.

Pro tip bring your own butter.

    3.50 saved.

    • BYO pancakes too?

      • +3

Jokes aside, $3.50 for butter is robbery

Bring your own maple syrup too. Apparently they use maple flavoured syrup and charge extra for the real stuff. But who knows what they consider to be "real stuff" if they serve maple flavoured syrup.

You should always have a bottle of maple syrup in your car anyway.

      • and a litre of cola

        • And a bottle of tobasco

    • $3.50??

At least they're offering something for free.

I thought I'd try get some pancakes thru Uber (which I know is inflated) but for 2 pancakes and a chocolate milkshake they wanted $59 including delivery lmao
Idk who in their right mind would look at that and go "you know what? I'm going to pay 60 bucks" πŸ˜‚

    • +2

If there was a data leak of Ubereats records, I bet the addresses of people getting $59 pancakes delivered would be a criminals dream. Rich and stupid.

They're not though. I read the most beautifully put summary the other day.

"Gen-Z and Millenials have large amounts of disposable income as they have no prospect of home ownership therefore do not save."

        • No doubt, they still live somewhere though, in a location filled with things bought with disposable income.

          • @formulated: Yes, in a dog box, each month sliding a pile of cash into the pockets of people like me who don’t share their outlook.

Wait, wait, wait. Back up a bit now. When are the pancakes coming in the mail?
