TP-Link Archer AX1500 Wi-Fi 6 Router $87 + Delivery ($0 to Metro Areas/ C&C/ in-Store) @ Officeworks

160

I'm usually a silent lurker, so please be understanding if I didn't upload this deal correctly :)

I was shopping around for this specific model based off a recommendation from a friend and found OW selling it for really cheap. Previous post at Amazon was selling it for $86.72 with Prime OzBargain. Amazon is selling it for $89 if anyone can't be bothered going to store to C&C from OW Amazon

I hope this helps someone else :)

  • I have this good beginner router, works good. No Voip though

    • Me too, had all the features I needed and so much better than the router provided by my previous ISP, I was locked out of changing my DNS on that one

  • +1

$82 if you have Goodguys Commercial account.

  • Managed to get it for 84.55 from Officeworks with a price match yesterday morning, both TGG and Amazon has it for the same price of 89, today HN has it for 88 and OW have dropped it below that. Nice router for FTTP but very basic

    • I was initially going to do this as well but OW changed the price yesterday afternoon so I missed out. I used my discounted gifts cards instead

  • Any sort of parental controls on this? And no fttc compatibility?

    • It does have parent controls but are very basic. Such as content, time and reporting.
As for FTTC assuming that you have the NBN modem and connect a router to it, this should do the job, however it is not an all in one and does not offer other services such as voip

  • Pretty good for the price, but the range honestly isn't that impressive, so for bigger houses I'd opt for something with better signal, or a mesh network.

  • Can anyone please tell me what speed you are getting for fttp nbn?

    • I'm on a 1000/50 plan but I don't use this router for wifi I have disabled it and setup a mesh system in the house. Getting speeds close to this on my network which is mainly wifi6.

      • Mate can you please explain how did you setup a mesh system alongwith the router?
        Thanks
