  • Another US$0.20 off with code 'CHOICE5E4347D' (not sure if targeted)

    • I think so. Doesn't apply for me.

    • Depends on if you bought an eligible item last time, if so - code is applied automatically.

    • Didn't work for me either

  • +2

Argh! Bought the same one from this post for A$16.10 10 days ago.

    • -7

      same here
      nearly half price now
      what a joke
customers are not happy, what is the point of the promotion?

    • ah same, dammit !

  • +24

Looking forward to receive this in May; just enough time to forget I bought it!

    • 20 bucks now. $7 for me

  • +3

it actually says 115 pieces instead of 122…

    • +3

I count 122 in the image and the one infront of me ;)

      • +1

mmm…not sure….it's the little icon where you choose the "colour" where it says "115 in 1 Gray"

        • +2

Yeah it's only 115 piece grey set that's available. The 122 yellow set appears to be sold out or was just to lure people into buying the slightly smaller set. I still got the 115 anyways

      • you did not count it all….surely..

        BTW, thanks - purchased.

        • What the thumbnail is and what you get are different it would seem.

          • @Clear: i mean who cares right. its 7 pieces difference.

  • I have a bunch of aluminium 4mm handles, as I like to have 1 for each bit, and I prefer longer bit shafts (the driver end) but I struggle to find bits with shafts that are as strong as standard precision screwdrivers. A bit of sideways torque and they snap.

I've scoured AE and ebay and bought a few types.

  • Price bumped back up!

    • I just bought for $6.59 delivered

  • Magnetizer, nice. TY OP.

  • +1
  • Sorry, the page you requested can not be found:(

    • Works for me

    • I got the same error when using a US VPN. I could load the page only when disconnected

  • +1

This is a crazy price and they are usually $10 more at best. I mean, I'm drunk, but I thought my 4 year old might get some joy and it's totally worth $7.09 to see him tinker around and have some fun without me giving a shit about losing the pieces from Dad's set. Thanks Clear

    • +9

Please don't drink and Ozbargain, it's dangerous.

      • +4

But it's so fun. And, excuses. My partner is out so hey this is comparatively cheap.

      • or sleepy, that's how I ended up buying a S23 ultra :/

    • +3

Are 4 year olds still safe with such small pieces as choking hazards? At the very least it seems likely she'd lose a few of them around the place if you're not careful.

      • +1

Putting things in the mouth hasn't been an issue for us since our kids were babies

  • +2

im pretty sure its actually 115 pieces, images aren't really accurate i shop on aliexpress all the time.

    Could be real

imo take a screenshot because the title says 122 pieces and theres only 1 item listed in there so if any case you can lodge a dispute and pretty much get it for free if they try jib you lol.

usually sellers will attract people with low prices for a product but when you click in its a different item that has been selected but in this case theres only 1 item advertised

    • Pretty sure @justtoreply counted 230 pieces…

  • $7.01 with wise

  • 122-in-1 Precision Screwdriver OOS ?

    • No, price jack

      • How did you get it all I see the 115 ?

  • Came down to $6.18 for me, it auto applied some coupon in my cart

  • +1

I don't understand how come the tax is $1.06 when the item cost is $6.03

  • It says add to my picks but it won't let me checkout?

    • +4

      Use the desktop site.

  • Got it for $4.69 USD still. How bad can it be?

    • Screwdriver heads made out of soft metal, so useless. Maybe.

      • +1

Yeah I'm thinking the parts will crumble

  • +2

Clocked in at AU6.79 for me.
Tax is calculated ahead of the discount in exactly the same way that tax is always not calculated.

    Subtotal AU $10.58
    Shipping Free shipping
    Discounts -AU $4.55
    AliExpress Choice -AU $0.30
    Tax AU $1.06
    Total AU $6.79

    • Why do I get the feeling they aren’t giving the whole $1.06 to the ATO.

  • Pick 2 to check out?

    • +2

As Clear said above, use the desktop site

      • Thanks mate!

  • +1

Is it possible to purchase multiple items at this store at a discounted price? The discounted price is not offered after my first purchase.

  • Showing $22 now

  • Thanks OP, it worked for me (07.35 AEST 24/3). For those with issues, try using a regular computer rather than a mobile device or tablet. Didn't work on a tablet - even on desktop site, because AliExpress tends to ignore requests for desktop sites from mobile devices. Sign in to Ali on your browser first, then click the link - that should work.

    • You need to replace the "m" for "www" at the start of the URL after setting desktop mode on mobile browser

    • +1

I used incognito chrome on my phone (with desktop mode ticked) and it worked :)

  • Can anyone make an informed estimate of the cost price of this product, incl. delivery? Is it sold directly by the manufacturer or they ship in bulk to this retailer who then ships individually, or dropped shipped?

If there is a hit, who takes it in the value chain?

    • +2

It's part of an AliExpress app promotion where you get 3+ items for US$1.99, US$2.99 ex tax etc. This is simply letting you buy one of those products outside of the app.

Buying this in bulk from a factory (>1000pcs) and you're looking at well under US$3. AliExpress are taking the hit and since Alibaba own Cainiao the logistics side is cheap for them.

Tl;dr a loss leader to attract customers to the app.

      • Once they get it to Aus shore, is the shipping effectively free for them?

        • Still costs next to nothing once in Australia because of postal agreements. When you're loss leading you don't expect to make a buck. Goes against the name.

          • @Clear: Yes, that's what I was referring to with postal agreement, which helps soften the loss.

  • Somehow ended up as $5.59AUD for me

  • +2

Thanks OP ordered one. I didn’t know I needed this but that is the ozbargain way.

  • +1

7.09 AUD for me - thanks OP

    • same, ditto thanks OP. I've been wanting to try open up a few little gadgets that are on the blink but not had the obscure screwdriver tips

  • +1

I probably have all the key pieces separately, but it's nice to have them in a well organised storage together.

  • +2

I do not need this and so I have ordered one

  • Bought, thanks OP

  • My 20 year old jewellers screwdrivers have seen better days. Thanks OP.
BTW, the link worked fine on galaxy tablet

  • When I click through it says "add to my picks" how do I purchase these?

    • Desktop website.

  • -1

Currently down to US $3.99, at least for me!

    • +1

      Ex tax.

      • -2

Nope, total price US $3.99, VAT included! Must be only in EU I guess?

        • +4

Of course. If you're in Europe don't expect prices to be the same in Australia. It's just going to confuse everyone else.

  • Thanks a lot OP, got it for a Total AU $6.79 including tax (with $0.3 coupon auto applied)

  • Grabbed one, thank OP!

  • What can you use it for? Fixing mobile phones?

    • Perfect for fixing toys! And opening up other small gadgets

    • +1

You lend it to a friend, and then never get it back again.

      • If you lend it to a friend and never see them again… That's $6.79 well spent!

  • AU $7.09 or me,
    very happy! Thanks OP!

  • Wow! Is this a clever plot to bankrupt China? Thanks OP

  • 7.09 for me, no coupons. Thanks OP!

  • thanks OP, wasnt to late to the ozbargain party

  • Thanks OP, got for $7.05 or so. Wouldn't allow me to buy more than 1 tho

  • Thanks Clear…:)
Another GREAT deal from you !
    Picked it up for $6.79

  • Thanks OP. Got for AU $6.79 today + 4.5% cashback

    • +1

Product isn't affiliated so the cashback will be rejected.

  • +1

The OzBargainer in me would have liked that 0.30 coupon but $7.09 is still cheap enough to warrant a punt on this lol. Will be interesting to see how it stacks up against the Xiaomi (?) 25 in 1 set that most of us (also) have 😅

  • links broken?

    • +1

If you have a VPN turn it off. Some corporate networks block parts of AliExpress too.

  • What's with all of the screwdriver sets for $0.11 with free shipping? Legit or scam?

    • Got a link, would love one for that price?

      • +1

Won't let me share the link, I'll PM instead.

        • +1

As discussed via PM it's a new user bonus.

  • There is no buy it now option for me when I use this link.
    Is it because of VPN?

What country should I be using?
    Thanks

    • You should be using the country you want delivery to. But I think you can also manually set the address

    • Turn off your VPN and you're good to go. Alternatively try Australia.

  • Thanks just bought one at 12:48pm.

then forgot about the cash back :)

    • Don't worry, can't use cashback, it's not part of the affiliate program.
