1050
SNSPLUSM

The tiered discount code for March. This promo should give genuine discounts as it is not sellers' co-funded.
Plus it is not limited to “eligible” stores, also works for "eligible" private sellers, new and used items!

E.g. Sony outlet store:

Offer Period. This offer commences at 10:00am AEDT on 15 March 2023 and is available for a limited time only, for as long as advertised on the eBay.com.au site (“Offer Period”). eBay reserves the right to cancel the offer at any time.
Eligibility. This offer is available to eBay Plus members only. eBay Plus terms and conditions apply.
Conditions. This offer entitles you to a Discount off the pre-coupon purchase price (excluding postage costs) on Eligible Items during the Offer Period. Multiple items may be purchased in 5 transactions total (up to a maximum of 10 items per transaction).
“Eligible Items” means items listed on eBay.com.au where a link to these terms and conditions and the coupon redemption code SNSPLUSM is found in the item listing.
“Discount” means the amount saved per transaction as set out below:
Save $10 when you spend between $100 - $199 in one transaction; or
Save $20 when you spend between $200 - $499 in one transaction; or
Save $50 when you spend between $500 - $999 in one transaction; or
Save $100 when you spend $1,000 or more in one transaction.
Redemption. To redeem this offer during the Offer Period, enter the redemption code SNSPLUSM into the redemption code box during checkout . This code cannot be used in conjunction with any other eBay offer, coupon or voucher. You can only use the redemption code 5 times during the Offer Period. The code is provided to you as an eBay User and the limitations on its usage apply on that basis even though you may have registered a number of different eBay User IDs.

Hopefully no jacks on this <3

Instead of repeating Jack comments, I just hope this deal isn’t upvoted just because.

Its an ebay post, sadly thats not going to happen

Not upvoting until i test out what it works on.

    Usually ive been dissapointed.

"Eligible Items" have different meaning in eBay ..

  • +3

Oh goody, another eBay eligible items deal…

  • +1

crazy me tried this now, got "Looks like this code isn't ready yet. Please try again later." lol

  • Stack this with Afterpay one yeah

    • +2

"This code cannot be used in conjunction with any other eBay offer, coupon or voucher." guessing that would be a no :(

  • +10

If ebay wants us to spend money, how about coding a simple notifier in their app to let me know that a code is available on one of my favourite items.

That would tip the scale for me to spend money and purchase the item.

None of this "here's a code for a bunch of items which may or may not be applicable to you, go waste your time looking for things to buy, goodluck kthx bye"

    • +1

      True

    • +1

it's the Ikea method, get you lost wandering around their store and you might accidentally buy something out of sheer boredom

  • So basically 10% off on minimum spend $100 for eBay Plus members.

eBay have more than earned a pre-promotion neg on any "eligible items only" deal. It's just a waste of our time.

I'll revoke my neg when the promotion starts, if (by some miracle) it results in any actual bargains. (Unlike every previous one).

    • +3

And your definition of "actual bargains" is what?

With vagueness like that you could apprentice as a politician 🙏

      ✅ Member since last year

  • +2

    Neg?

    • +3

What do you think this is? Reddit.

Negging isn't allowed on OzB no matter how bad the bargain.

Also upvoting is compulsory on Apple RRP posts

The bizarre "negging is sinful" culture we have is not just stupid, it also makes OzBargain less useful.

These "eligible items only" ebay deals really do have zero actual bargains available sometimes, as the number of sellers is limited and they all jack up the prices (or they're already high).

An accurate balance of hopeful upvotes with a few cautionary downvotes would let people know this might be a good deal, and might not.

Instead, as I write this, there are 97 upvotes and ZERO negs. Perfect score, no caveats.

It gives the impression this deal is 100% guaranteed to be the best deal on OzBargain this month or something.

The dude above gave good, informative reasons for negging the deal and the morons still piled on him like sheep.

It's unhelpful, especially for the 95% of people who never read the comments and just scroll the front page.

        • +1

          Yup.

It's so bizarre. I have suspicions there's an automated system on the site doing this and not actual people.

          • -1

@jaimex2: I wouldn't put it past eBay to pay people to astroturf these deals, either. Seems unlikely, but certainly not impossible.

            • @ItsMeAgro: Nah, OzB runs a few bots for deal searching.

Its not a far stretch to assume the site manipulates metrics.

        • Blame admins for negging hard

  • +2

Jack be nimble, Jack be quick, Jack increases the price of a discounted candle stick.

Jokes aside, we should see some good deals tomorrow hopefully. I always wonder what stores are included / involved.

    • +1

Usually a much wider range of eligible sellers than the sellers co-funded codes. I’d find that overseas based sellers are excluded. Had been useful for me in the past to stack with discounted items from Sony outlet and Dyson stores, among others…

  • +2

Pretty much the same vouchers rebranded with a new promo campaign

  • -1

I just got a code in the app for $60 off $500+ purchases or $120 off purchases over$1000

  • Will this discount code be valid for 12% ebay cashback tonight with Shopback?

  • +1

Thanks saved $50 from a random purchase :)
