I almost bought the ridiculous 46mm Armani Exchange skeleton on the 1st page because it's 200 bucks, but I just couldn't do it.
I grabbed the last G-SQUAD GBD-100SM-1, but yeah nothing left.
I have a feeling they're going to try and clear their old Alpina stock, because I remember them in the sale section without the extra 30% a few months ago. This is of course based on nothing but my gut.
What time do they usually update their deals? I might be able to check if there are any worthy deals. I would probably buy one max 2 watches. I am on a tight budget.
It is completely random from my experience. You can check everyday, but if you miss the 1-2 hour window, you've missed it.
@rosebank: Oh well, it is what it is. I am not a bot. Can't be checking 24/7 . If I get lucky I will grab one deal.
@Scrooge McDeal: That's right attitude. I've missed out on some killer deals (before I joined here), but have also managed to get some great deals. I got very lucky last week, but the worst is when you see the watch still there on the page, then you click it, and it reverts back to RRP and it's sold out, so you don't even know how cheap it was.
I first heard of MVMT during ads on podcasts. It prob has a cheap Miyota quartz movement which not a bad bad thing. I think they tried to position themselves as non-fashion watches (they are) but, "no we're legit watchmakers and make our own minimalist designs!" I dunno, it's $60 so there's not much to lose. But they also advertised on podcasts.
If you want minimalist watches, I recommend Timex, but I understand you probably don't like the black on black, or a Casio for about $50. If you want to drop more coin, go for Braun (big Dieter Rams fan) or Mondaine if you can get them on sale for under $200.
I wouldn't pay more than that for MVMT, they're just cheapo quartz movement with Instagram advertising (like Daniel Wellington).
