Doesn't say they got it.
Tommy Hilfiger are basic quartz fashion watches. For a little bit more you could buy a solar watch from a reputable watch making brand like Citizen with 100m water resistance & not have to worry about changing the battery. Or buy a Casio for less.
These 2 have better specs… 200M & screw down crown -
Casio MDV107D-1A3… $124.82 delivered.
Casio MDV107D-1A2… $125.97 delivered.Maybe wait & see what's on offer in the Starbuy weekend sale which starts around 6pm tonight.
Who's gonna tell him?
My boyfriend would love these styles, but he's a minority. Can he still wear Tommys?
WN doing gods work
Not all heroes wear capes.
They also don't wear fashion watches.
@MS Paint: That makes sense. Cheers.
The watch boys are going to tear this post apart
I think we’ll let him off with a warning this time.
Yeah can learn by their own mistakes or get away unscathed and be happy for years with his new watch.
But yes, pointless and a waste of money
Is it my money? No
Is it any of my business? NoLet the lad wear whatever he wants 😂
Does Tommy himself wear this cheapo junk?
Owner of several automatic watches here, but not a snob.
I quite like the look of this: https://www.amazon.com.au/TOMMY-HILFIGER-norris-Watch-SILVER…
If someone just wants a clean office/pub watch from a clothing brand they like, it's a valid way to go for $85. Just don't get it wet.
Not everyone cares about which Swiss village was home to a clock repair shop in 1827 that was owned by someone whose great grandson made some mechanical watches that were in someone's bag when they climbed a mountain in 1952. Some people just want a pleasant looking watch as an accessory, and if it conks out in four years they'll go get another one.
I don't think there's many watch snobs here at all. Most comments on fashion watch posts are helping others to get the best value for their money.
I can't recall anyone recommending a Swiss watch.
I ended up going with a Sinn 556i last year and am having a good time with it. Brick outhouse.
The Swiss thing wasn't specifically a criticism of Switzerland, it was more about the obsession that a few people have with the heritage/provenance of watch brands and models. It matters to some of the enthusiasts but is minimally interesting to the regular punter.
Not me. The Omega Moon Swatch is an overpriced abomination.
I'd rather get the Chinese Pagani — at least it's steel! Then again, my aspirations are rubbish.
Exactly, WN highlights good deals and advice.
There are so many cheap/good Timex and G-Shocks around, that's the best place to start and highly regarded.
Don't buy cheap crappy fashion brand watches. Just get an actual watch brand watch. Your gonna get way more fore your money.
It's in the description.
