    Just got my white 256gb, has not opened it yet. Checked warranty status, it says limited warranty, expires in November 2023, why is this? Not one year coverage?

      I recall seeing another comment earlier about how it was marked as "sold" in Nov 2022 so that may be it.

      This happened to me when I bought my iPad. It lasts for several days and suddenly changed to the date I activated it + 1 year.

      The warranty should update once you sign into your Apple ID. I’m pretty sure you can also amend the purchase date on the Apple website.

        I just picked up my purple 256gb from our local (Brisbane) Post Office after it couldn’t be delivered while I was at work. Only got the shipping notification from Amaysim at midnight last night. As others have suggested I recommend downloading the AusPost app as it seems to know about delivery updates before any other medium.

    got mine, iOS 14 battery felt ok, but it felt immediately worse after upgrading to iOS 16… Can anyone else confirm??

      You've literally had it for a day at most, how the heck do you come to your conclusion?

      That said, 16 might have some extra backgysettings that are turned on by default

      plenty of youtube videos that tell you how to save battery

        I'm asking others if they find it to be the case. Basically I set it up on iOS 14 then upgraded to 16 at the end of the day. So whole day it's fine on 14 but right after upgrade, battery starts dropping a lot faster.

        There's nothing unreasonable about my observations, rqz has pointed out that it may need a week (not sure how or why that would be the case) for iOS 16 to settle down, so that's insightful and helpful at least, but yea in terms of going from 14 to 16, 16 is noticeably worse, at least immediately after upgrade

          I read somewhere before they mentioned after upgrading ios16 wait a few days to allow the os to learn and adjust the battery health and usage. Not sure that’s true or not for this case.

    Got my Blue 256 this morning - startrack courier didn't even ask for my ID - just confirmed my name and signed my name on his device then handed over the package.
    Not sure what to do with the phone now, trade it in for a galaxy s23 ultra or sell it. Currenlty using a Note 10plus, don't think the iPhone mini can replace it.

      Trade in? That is a poor value. You will loose about $100. With $200 bonus you are still only $100 up. But it is better to sell some old phone or do not send anything and you are still $200 or $160 up.

      considering it's old model battery died out in box is normal. iPhone always turn on by itself when it's shut down and the battery is charged.

      Compared to the last few years it's on the smaller side sure, though most folk seemed pretty happy in the era where 5.4" was if anything on the larger side. I understand societal expectations change over time, it's just I'm a bit miffed by how enthralled everyone has become with phablets. It's so convenient being able to use a device comfortably one-handed, so to speak.

    Hah I'd love to hear feedback from those sceptics who shared their 2cents, indicating that Amaysim will not have stock, it's not local stock..etc etc. Guess what, amaysim has delivered in this particular instance! Sounds like a case of sour grapes to me!
