  • Sent 2 emails to [email protected] to ask for updates on my 2 orders and no response in last few weeks.
Has anyone got a number or another email that we can contact them on?

    • There's [email protected] but they are no more responsive.

      • Thanks I'll try my like.
My first order was on 27th Jan and the second order on 6th Feb. Both orders have no tracking or email updates whatsoever. Not great business to deal wtih. I imagine warranty with n+ would be horrible.

        • Mine was 23rd Jan and I've at least got a couple of emails.

  • +1

Feels like false advertising when they say immediate delivery.

    • You mean this?

Yes. It's false advertising and like you said, it makes me concerned about warranty issues. Or even making use of the 14 day change of mind policy.
Check out the Facebook reviews too, sort by latest. Interestingly in the last day theyve gotten some very positive reviews.

      • What do you mean by false advertising? Did you expect to get your buy the same day when you bought it? For me it took 14 days. It was pretty quick, I thought.

  • To the ppl who are still waiting for delivery:
    Did you order the
    1. Formula E team bike or
    2. Silver arrows or
    3. Silver arrow sports or
    4. Championship edition

    • Large formula E Team

    • Order 1 Formula E team bike on 27th Jan
and 1 Silver Arrow on 6th Feb.
      0 response from n+

    • Ordered the Silver Arrow Sports and received confirmation that it would be set for delivery end of Feb

  • +2

Well guys, its officially been exactly 1 month since my order!
    Happy anniversary!

  • -1

The heck. Can we get a refund ???

  • Feels like a kickstarter scam

  • +2

    Not a scam. Be patient.

Rewards come to those who wait.

If you have been awarded a medal in these olympics, accept it quietly.

    • Agreed. They are just struggling with the ramifications of being OzBargained. Not ideal but I get it.

We will get our precious bikes that will still be great value. Otherwise I'd definitely cancel but I actually want the bike and there is no other option!

Anyone else got this message from nplus?

You ordered the Mercedes-EQ Formula E Team eBike in our Outlet Sale however the promotion was so popular that we have oversold them in Australia.

Great news, we would like to offer you a free upgrade to our Mercedes-EQ Formula E Team Silver Arrows eBike.

    If it's true, I can't complain I suppose?

    • Wow, nope didn't get this email. When did you order and what size?

      • 4/2/23 - ordered the Team EQ (original model in this deal) size M
16/2/23 - first notification that it's set for delivery end of this month
24/2/23 - email about it being oversold and receiving free upgrade

Obviously I'm not getting it by the end of the month so although I actually preferred the look for the team EQ (as my current pushbike is already polished aluminium), if I get the arrow model I won't complain.

email also says if I don't reply within a few days then they will begin delivery so could also be a stall tactic.

        • email also says if I don't reply within a few days then they will begin delivery so could also be a stall tactic.

Could it mean that if you object to the change, you'll have to reply otherwise they'll go ahead and deliver a silver arrow?

          • @mmd: You got the same email too?
That’s such a bargain if you did?

            • @RichieVn: No I didn't,
              I was replying to ironicman

    • Nope.

    • -1

      Yep

    • Doubt

    • Wow, lucky you!

    • What the ….

    • +1

Hmmm should I order the black one hoping for a free upgrade 🤣

    • was it Brooke that emailed you? I got the same

      • Brooke emailed me 2 nights ago regarding my request to change my bike size from a large to a medium. Nothing else since.

      • No I got an email from Lewis L via nplus bikes. Title is "Head of Operations"

    • ironicman - did you get any confirmation you're getting the silver arrow bike instead?

      • Yes, after a few days of non-response from me, I thought I'd just email and confirm I appreciate the good news and look forward to the delivery/tracking details.
I received a response from Lewis directly within an hour and later that day received an "order updated" email that states my order is now for a 2022 Silver Arrows eBike x 1

There's also a promo code inserted saying SA UPGRADE OFFER (-$780)

However, still no delivery or tracking details… So expect that part will be delayed.

        Hope that helps.

Can someone recommend a good bike lock? willing to spend a few bucks for a good quality lock maybe alarm even.

    Thanks.

Happy end of February everyone waiting for their bikes!

  • Well that mystery entry I assumed was the bike in AusPost, turned out to be something from Amazon (someone did warn me, I was too optimistic).

So now I will revert to the "I have had no update for a month" club.

  • ordered on the 1st of Feb. and no tracking detials yet. Friend who ordered on the 4th of Feb got free upgrade to silver arrow version but again, no updates on delivery yet.

  • I ordered on 23 January and all I've received is an email saying my bike is on the way from Germany about a month ago.

A mate who ordered an hour before me got his bike within a week!

    • It's odd, isn't it. I requested to change my size, which they finally accepted but I'm assuming thats gonna push it back even more.

      • LOL just got a reply saying that a shipment has arrived in Fremantle and due to a cancellation, I should get my bike next week.

Dare I ask why it took a cancellation to get mine, given I was told it was being shipped in the first place? Wonder what the plan was without said cancellation.

I do appreciate them responding pretty quickly, though!

        Definitely odd all round.

        • Did you order a large? Maybe you are getting mine.
I've noticed quicker replies from the Facebook page.

          • @theguyrules: Yeah, I did order a large!

Whilst I didn't get any updates, they replied to my email very quickly so that was great.

            • @TheZohan: Ha! I changed from a large to a medium so maybe you got my allocation!

        • was yours the mercedes formula E team bike?

  • cancelled my order - afraid of future support

    • Amongst providing some constructive feedback to them, they offered to build the bike for me in Osborne Park (not far from where I live). Whilst this is useful, I am actually more curious to see where they're building it, it implies local support somewhere!

      • +1

Oh wow! They do seem to be Perth based so that makes sense.

    • Cancelled my order as well - took them 10 days to respond to me, now they've charged my credit card for another bike instead of refunding me… the saga continues

  • +1

Omg ok so they just updated my order to a medium. I got excited thinking it was an "order shipped". I wonder if it's them releasing the allocation of the large?

  • +1

So got this email on the 16th of Feb, hoping for a update or delivery, nothing yet.

    Dear ,
    The wait is nearly over!
Your Mercedes-EQ Team eBike is set for delivery at the end of February.
We will be providing your delivery tracking information shortly. Welcome to the owners club!

    • Sent a email and they replied right away which is great.

"I know we were just waiting on a shipment from Germany which is due to land very shortly – I’ll have Operations provide an update in the interim. "

Excited to get it soon hopefully

I did a bit of background on these bikes prior to ordering. There are two bikes available size and test ride at Mercedes Brisbane, a small 2022 EQ and a large 2021 Silver Arrow. The bikes are sold through the Mercedes parts department who provided me the details of global sales director for NPlus Bikes who is based in Perth. This person was able to confirm the details of the Brisbane Mercedes staff and bikes on hand at the dealership. Her details also matched LinkedIn. When quizzed at to why the 50% sale (if something is to good to be true……) she advised Mercedes were pulling out of Formula E for the 2023 season and were unable to sell the bikes branded as Formula E once the season started. Media releases confirm Mercedes have won the last 3 Formula E seasons and have pulled of 2023. I was advised on the 27th February a container arrived in Fremantle on the 26th and was waiting unloading and customs clearance with my bike to be shipped no later that 6 March. Hope this helps.

    • Very useful information, thanks for that! I wish I'd known about the sizes to test at Brisbane.

    • Great info, thanks, Makes a limited edition. Also explains why service departments in Sydney referred to the bike as "promotional material".
I have Glowworm bikes that will do support for it here in Sydney, spoke them on the phone for sizing, they were very helpful, Wasnt able to see the bike before I bought it.

      look forward in getting it

    • +3

This supports the theory that their objective to clear out the bikes was achieved quickly and their (presumably) small team is working hard to support our avalanche of orders when they could - and much more easily - just cancel the orders and say they're out of stock.

Not sure why so many complaining about this deal. It's too good to be true, yet it is true.

      • +1

Agreed, its a amazing deal on a amazing bike. Worth the wait, as you said staff overwhelmed but trying to get it sorted.

Im happy to wait, they told me will be delays and thats ok.

what about for future servicing? If they're pulling out, how are you going to get replacement parts or warranty?

    • -1

Also is there a phone number to call them directly ?

  • +4

New review just popped up for the silver arrow on reddit https://www.reddit.com/r/ebikes/comments/11ejum1/nplus_merce…

  • +1

I understood Nplus and Mercedes could no longer use the Formula E trade mark as Mercedes had pulled from the Formula E season (not Ebikes) and NPlus are waiting on the new livery from Mercedes. The phone number I have is 02 72020240. Sometimes it goes through to a call centre but I always received a quick response from an Australian representative and a follow up email. They were looking at approaching a bike store on the Sunshine Coast, perhaps Cyclezone at Maroochydore, to handle servicing etc. I originally ordered a large silver arrow sport but changed this to a silver arrow medium.

    • Have you got back your refund difference ?

  • +1

    Within 15 minutes!

  • +3

Just got an Order update from them.

Thank you for your recent order of a Formula E Team ebike in Large. Recent promotions have been so popular that we have oversold this model and size, and unfortunately will be unable to fulfil your order.

We apologise for the inconvenience and have initiated a refund, you will have received confirmation of this via email. Please allow up to 14 days (depending on your financial institution) for the funds to be returned to your original payment method.

    Thank you

Incredibly frustrating considering I purchased it the morning of the 23rd of Jan and have been waiting patiently since. I have receieved emails from them saying the order is confirmed, order has been shipped from germany, order will be sent end of Feb and tracking number will be provided shortly. All that and suddenly a refund …..

    • +1

No way! That is so slack. I ordered same day, and people who have ordered after have received theirs already. Seems like they have 0 inventory management skills.

    • That's so annoying, especially when they are still selling the bike on the AU website at full price. I hope they don't cancel my medium size bike.

      • Yeah I’ve moved on to super73 bike lol
But I do like coming back to this thread for some good ol drama

Waiting on my refund still tho…

    • ugh that sucks, I would of hoped they tried to get you something. I mean they are still selling the same bike and getting more from Germany.

  • I think someone said the seat is bad (like most bikes).

    I got this https://www.anacondastores.com/cycling/bike-accessories/serf…

    Look forward to trying it.

    • Why not try the seat for yourself first? Seats are a personal thing and some seats that suit some people don't work for others.

    • Can confirm the seat is hard as a rock. Ordered a new one immediately after my first ride.
      Bought this one from Amazon

Foir Bike Saddle Padding Best Road Bike Saddles Mountain Bike Saddle Fit for Road Bike and Mountain Bike https://amzn.asia/d/ik9ed35

Cheap, fairly comfy, and really slick looking. Not sure about durability however for 21 bucks I'd be quite happy to change it once a year lol

      • -1

lol that looks identical to the $100 ones in bike shops.

  • +2

    Just got tracking!
Reckons 10 days - Perth to Brisbane. Seems a bit slow but damn to have a tracking number is nice.

    • +2

      Just got my tracking!

      • +1

        Just got my tracking!

        • What's your eta?

          • +1

            @theguyrules: 14th March to Adelaide

          • @theguyrules: Hasn’t been collected yet :(

            • @DingoBlue: Whats the update on your tracking? Mine has changed to "We're processing your shipment" which considering its supposed to come tomorrow, is interesting.
But the TNT tracking itself still says tomorrow by 5pm estimate.

              • +1

@theguyrules: My bike just arrived (Sydney). Tracking still says processing in Perth.

              • @theguyrules: Seems it was actually picked up on Friday. Everything says in transit and last scan Perth.

TNT doesn’t seem to say anything on the mobile web regarding ETA but I believe the full web has a bit more info.

The One World tracking still indicates delivery tomorrow, and while that’s certainly plausible it’s probably not an formal ETA from TNT.

                • @DingoBlue: I just got an email from One World saying it's coming tomorrow and there have been no delays. Not sure why I got it, but 🤷‍♂️

  • +1

Here we go. I feared this time may come, only I was hoping it would be a bit later down the track.

Today my Mercedes Formula E Team bike stopped working.

4th time Ive used it in total. It started to randomly cut off the motor and showing the number 28 flashing on the dashboard. Error was coming and going, until it became constant. I have zero power and the bike is unusable. The manual mentions error 28 as "Torque Sensor Abnormal".

I have sent a text to their SMS Support number found here (https://nplusbikes.com.au/pages/contact) on what to do. Waiting for their response. Lucky warranty will cover everything but I am deeply disappointed now - unacceptable to have my bike not working after 4 uses. Im just hopin I was simply unlucky and this is not an alarm bell on the overall quality of the bike.

Wondering if anyone else is having similar issues?

    • -1

Yes I too once had an electrical device fail, what are the odds?

      • What error code number was it?

    • +1

Any luck getting a response? I'm trying to warranty now as the bike was not set up correctly according to a bike repair shop I took it to. Massive amount of noise coming out of the back wheel, sounds like something is caught in the spokes, but it is totally clear. Seems the spokes are under a huge amount of stress due to the weight of the bike and pull of the engine. He tested a few spokes and some were 55 other in the 70's (kgs of force?) he did a quick check online and said they should be around 100-120!

Also have had horrible mileage, less than 30kms no matter how low of a setting I use, drops from 3 bars to 1 in minutes, then errors out with an error 26 code (low voltage)…

I've sent a few emails to warranty dept. haven't heard a thing from them…I'm based in Melbourne, I think the only support shop they have is in Abbotsford? Has anyone had any luck getting a repair/tune/warranty issue resolved?

      • yikes..
