Unless you really want the throttle and higher max speed, you're better off getting this which has a mid-drive motor and overall better parts.

    • Both of these bikes have 100kg max load. What's the limiting factor for this?
Or would every part need to be upgraded to increase max load, so it's just not worth it?

Im guessing you'd need an entirely different bike with a stronger frame for a higher max load

        • I don't plan on doing it, but say you swapped the frame on either of these bikes, that'd be all you needed to do to marginally increase the max load?

Unless you really want the throttle and higher max speed,

Based on those ive seen riding these kind of bikes, those are exactly the two things they want :)

  • What about getting the bikes from temu with 40% cash back

Perfect for carrying 4 kids around the beach and knocking over pensioners in shopping centres.

Who buys this crap? For that money you could get a very nice real e-bike,
    or a near-new second-hand 100cc scooter,
or new motor scooter from China that is much faster and no less illegal.

Can't wait for all these "e" things to be banned. People are riding them at speeds close to 50km/h on cycle paths.

On the pedestrian path as well, imagine you are walking the dog…

    • At least ebikes still have working brakes unlike these:

Do you want to guess how fast he is going on the footpath?

      • Mega fast?

        • yeah man, im so annoyed cause i live in the area and seeing him fly past me while i was doing my walks around the area

  • The powers that be are doing nothing about allowing the importers to fit power systems that are easy to modify.

Other than the price and the black seat can anyone explain to me what the difference is between this ebike and this seemingly identical brown seat bike for $1,999 or $500 cheaper!!.
The specs, battery size, motor, model name, accessories, what's in the box even the SKU code is almost identical SKU BIKSRFVAS5KA black seat, SKU BIKSRFVAS5KBA brown seat, the only difference is the second last letter on the brown seat code. Surprisingly the biggest difference I could find was the cheaper brown seat bike gets free shipping to many destinations. Can anyone with a keener eye notice a difference, or is this an even better bargain than the original post?
