    To avoid the sim being delivered already activated say you are porting even if you aren't. You can still activate with a new number when it arrives.

      One downside of that method, as I discovered, is that you lose the opportunity to search for a new number. Of course if it's just for a burner and/or the 70GB, who cares?

    • I’ve found that they reset it after you activate it so you don’t lose any days

    • cashback website: $15 Mobile Plan with 4GB $0 cashback, so no - quite confusing, but that seems to be the case for this one

      You have to click it at least 3 times for it to take you to the check-out page, super weird.

  • Be careful with both cash rewards and Amaysim. I purchased the sim and got Cashback. However, later the Cashback was unapproved with the claim that I did not activate it within 28 days, which was incorrect. I activated the sim after 25 days. So, this could be both organizations’ marketing strategy. Don’t you see that they run this Cashback strategy almost all the time? Do check the cash back result sometimes.

  • I've got 2 of my number's quota rolled back from 70gb to 32gb one day after activation, this is after receiving a SMS saying "We noticed you've only just started using your amaysim SIM, so we've restarted your plan date so you get the most out of your plan".

    Anyone with the same issue? (Note: 32gb is plenty for my use, just curious as to the reason for the roll back) Thanks.

      I guess because they restarted your plan and the $30 plan has reverted back to the normal 32GB.

      If they didn't restart your plan you'd most likely have 70GB. Their customer service is pretty good so I would jump on live chat & complain if I was you.
