Yes, I posted back then (I use them as low output room lights with panel at windows or plug in the inclined mains pack for bright display) & since suggested using the solar panel as a charger for suitable Cree torches with the removable battery inside panel …

By removing the rear screws (no need to put back, you can remove battery from spring contact battery bay), you can use to charge the battery & use it in these torches. Handy for camping Much brighter than a AA, and usually enough for short use.

Ohhhh these I got two sets a few weeks back for $2. I didn't have any use for them in winter, so I chucked them into my tea candle lantern thingie I had lying around. And bam! A new lantern running 100 LEDS. =D

Lol. I have a pile of them set to slowly get brighter and back to off - they look like twinkling stars. Set to dfferent flashing rates, a pile of these can be enjoyable.

Happened to me when I wanted to get the $2 DVDs from a closing down DSE. They were $19.99…
I think there is some stock in TAS Bernie store - if anyone in TAS try that store, cant find any in Sydney area…
