        • How long is the manufacturer warranty anyway? 1 year? 2 years?

  • 10Gbps USB3

Do I need a special cord to use this with say a 4TB HDD(External USB)? I assume most work with the faster port, but mine has a USB plug.

Out of touch when Ive been using Windows 7 for 10 years! LOL

transfer speed depends on 3 factors:
      1. the usb port spec of the source,
      2. the cable, and
      3. the usb port spec of the device.

in this case you know your source ie the port at your laptop is able to do 10Gbps. point 1 ticked.
now you need to get a cable that able to let 10Gbps data through it. pick any cable from aliexpress read all description or photo you will see the speed. most will be 480Mbps so that one not good. they are for charging
then your external USB drive you need to check the spec what is its port specification.

if you have 1 from 3 points ok, it will not works. need all 3 supports. or you get the lowest speed from all three (speed always backward compatible)

Harvey Norman sent me wrong Laptop. I was so excited to open my new laptop but before opening i check side sticker and configuration on it was different. They sent me hp14s-dq3063TU. Its disgrace if big company like Harvey Norman does this sought of mistake. Now this laptop is out of stock. No idea what should i do now…?

    • Unfortunately you got a worse laptop? They gave me 256GB Pixel 7 Pro, instead of 128GB so it worked out for me.

You can't do much in this case.

  • I have this laptop, bought it for black friday. Anyone having problems with the battery life? Its not lasting that long.

Even off it burns through 5% every few hours

    • I replied to you, 5% every few hours would mean your laptop would last 20 hours.

I'm sure it's listed around 9 hours? I assume it's not plugged in, 5% every few hours is nothing.

5% every hour still equals = 20 hours, every few hours it saying you're getting 30-40 hours from your laptop charged.

      • maybe 5% few hours idle, and 30% every few hours when used? :D kidding
