thks got a couple as spew buckets for next party

  • +11

    A-league fan approved?
(The fact you can even get a bucket into an a league game in the first place is confusing to me)

    • +8

Don't forget the flares. You're not even allowed to take open bottles of water into some places, but flares are okay.

      Oh and trolleys too.

      • +15

How else can you signal to be rescued from having to watch a soccer match?

        • +3

I'VE BEEN HERE FOR 36 HOURS AND NOBODY HAS SCORED

      • +8

Pretty sure it was the security guard bucket they were using to put out the flares in. The guy just picked it up on the way onto the field.

      • -1

Aami is stupid. Years ago I had a nice 650ml metal water bottle I carried around with me all the time. Security guard told me I have to finish it to bring it in. I finished it. went back; and totally forgetting what he had told me, he said I couldn't bring it in at all and had to leave it outside.

        So stupid.

(The fact you can even get a bucket into an a league game in the first place is confusing to me)

I believe the bucket of powder was from the guards. It's used for extinguishing the flares.

    • How the hell did people get those goal posts in there as well!!

    • They have sand buckets on the side-line for flares.

      • Perhaps then how people get away with smuggling in and using flares should be addressed?
Fines and life ban for letting off a flare in a stadium..enough cameras pointed at seating areas should make it achievable.

A league wants to grow their fan base, im not sure letting off flares is going to help that.

We need this for catching the tears being shed over the Prezzee non deal.

  • No stock near me

  • +15

    Might afterpay this.

    • +5

Don't over extend yourself at Christmas time. When the final payments hits your account in February it might tip you over the edge.

      • +5

Muzeeb with the save. I was definitely on the edge of falling into a trap of OzBargain financial recovery.

  • +3

Anyone tried to price match at Bunnings?😂

    • +2

I tried once, but they wouldn't price match unless it was also the same colour.

      • +1

I think the Bunnings ones are 10L.

        • +1

They should be 22.2 cents then.

  • +9

Stack the savings with your monthly 10% off everyday rewards code and use 10% off giftcards, possibly some Cashrewards.

    20x.9x.9 = 16.2 cents per bucket.

I might treat myself this Christmas.

    • +3

Disgraceful. You forgot to enter the gift card payment value at self-serve to 18 cents (16 cents if used in conjunction with the monthly 10% off), which will make the remaining 2 cents round down.

      • Lol. It only works in woolies not in big w.

        • They use the same system. Where it doesn't work is at Coles/Kmart.

  • +20

Order 500 buckets to get free delivery

    • +7

      That's a bucket load

  • +5

20c is all they are worth, the handle is junk. You can pull the handle off, add some holes and use them for pot plants.

    • Good idea, if you can find any. Double skin ($0.40/pot) will add strength and reduce heat transfer, sometimes an issue with dark pots.

  • +13

Thanks I needed a last minute gift for the mother in law.

    • They might have a shovel bundle.

      • +1

        With tarp and rope?

        • +5

No, just a straw broom, and a cauldron.

    • Just because she had a bucket over her head, doesn't mean it didn't happen.

    • +1

My mother in law bought a few of these, lifted it full of water and the handle came off and it drenched her laundry. So yeah would make a good gift for your mil lol.

      • was that a mililf joke?

  • +17

    It's pronounced Bouquet, not bucket!

    • +4

"I want you to instruct your superiors that this is a first class stamp residence."

    • +2

Does it have room for a pony?

      • No but perfect for a periwinkle

  • +3

Might come in handy if you're an Uber driver.

  • +1

Thanks Man, only can buy 2

    Pickup in store lol

    • why only 2?

  • This would make a good toilet kitchen.

  • +4

    Ned Kelly cosplay

  • +4

Try to put 9.6l of anything other than air in those, and they'll likely crack.

    • I wonder if they will be okay as plant pots

      • Outdoors, no. It will disintegrate in a few weeks.

    • Yep, we got three loads of water carried before the handle broke off, the buckets started to crack a couple of weeks later. Waste of money and resources.

  • +1

    Deal of the year!

  • +2

    Landfill!

    • +2

You can certainly scoop up some landfill with this. Personally I'd use an excavator.

      • +3

Personally, I'd use an earth mover.

      • Hey dirt, see you laaaaater.

    • +1

"Strong and durable" righto, I would like to see an instore demonstration of that claim.

And on the bottom of their receipts they say, "save the environment bring your own plastic bag" while most of the stuff they sell won't last more than a year.

  • Just in time when I don't need one

  • +2

I got my mug for eggnog

  • +8

    Wife Christmas gift sorted

    • +1

I like your thinking. I just need to find a store with stock within cycling distance as I can't be spending more money on fuel than the present itself.

  • +1

Now I need a bucket for all my buckets.
What do you mean, they stack together?

  • +1

I doubt these buckets can actually hold the weight of the 9.2L water for long, had a few and they break after a couple of weeks.

  • Thanks OP….bought 365….one for each day next year,

  • +3

I'm willing to bet those handles pop out so easily when the bucket is full and you sway it ever so gently.

    • they do, then bucket brakes, as per my comment above

      • +2

        Brembos?

      • +4

        Buckets shouldn’t be speeding then

  • 🗿

  • +1

"This Plastic Bucket features a carry handle for convenience"

    Nice 👍

    • But is it ergonomic?

      • Gotta pay extra for ergonomics.

    • To conveniently snap off and spill whatever it is you're carrying all over the ground, the first time you use it.

  • +1

Might be handy for New years eve

  • bucket.

  • +4

  • +1

Thanks OP, this product was on my bucket list

    • :(

  • I thought should I buy some more, ahh bucket! , the other ones I have in the laundry have lasted well.
Don't fill them up more then half way, they get very flimsy if you do.

  • +10

Other deals pail in comparison :-)

    • Take your upvote and get the hell out!

  • +2

Maybe remove (or keep) the handles, put some holes at the bottom and use them as flower pots.

  • +2

Get a couple for you and your mates; put it on your head and pretend you're part of the Kelly gang.

    • +1

Paul Kelly? His songs don't sound too good in a bucket.

      • His songs don't improve out of the bucket either.

  • HODL!

  • The moment I saw this - I just knew that the comments section was going to be on fire

  • Never knew I needed 10 x plastic buckets until now.

    Thanks OP
