  • I’m currently on a boost SIM from another deal earlier this month.

Can I take advantage of this and transfer to this SIM at the end of my current recharge period and keep the same number?

    • No, port out and then come back

    • You can contact their CS team on the website. Did this for my annual plan before.

Thanks OP, will pass on this one as still waiting for the other one from a few days ago with a $3 profit…

  • @tightarse have you resolved what "new customers" means yet?

    https://boost.com.au/products/40-prepaid-sim

There's a "new customers" on the image. Is that only for the bonus data/recharges, or does it invalidate the cashback if we're already with boost?

    • +4

      Hi.
New customer term is only for the additional Boost data, and nothing to do with the cashback offer.
Provided you activate within 30 days of ordering, cashback will be honoured.
      Thanks,
      minita

        Thankyou.

You should silently make it 31 days in your backend. Last time, on the 30th day I couldn't activate because of system maintenance.

  • Hi I want to know I had one of these expired. Can I get couple more with different number. The whole idea is I just want free data. Thanks.

$40 for 55gb? Is that good these days? I fee like i've seen much better, either for a cheaper price, or more data for $40.

    • +1

Why would you think this deal is $40 though?

      • The deal isn't but after the deal period, the plan is then $40.

        • Username doesn't check out.

          • @WatchNerd: What am I missing here? It's $12 for the first month and then $40 after, isn't it?

            • @ArtOfTheDeal: 12bux first month (to be offset by 12bux cashback, assuming this works then you're closer to net zero than we'll ever be to net carbon zero) and then 40bux afterwards

For those (read: me) who have replaced home NBN with disposable (28 days or under) prepaid Sim cards that have no ongoing commitments, it's quite a deal albeit recurring in their offering and expected on my part (entitlement much?)

    • If data is the only thing you're after then there are better deals. Boost comes with unlimited calls and texts and some included international calls.

      • Please link to a better deal for 60GB 28 days?

        • -2

Depends on if you put conditions on the deal.

Gomo is $35 for 60GB over 30 days but that's more data and more days and on a different network (Optus) so may not meet your requirements for "a better deal".

          • +4

@mysterytal: That appears to be $35 more expensive than this deal.

            • @WatchNerd: Here’s a better deal if you remember to cancel before your first month ends :)

              • @BargainsGrabber: Good one
Recurring signups per person? In the same way we can burn through Sim cards?

                • @inamberclad: In the t&c, it did say for new customers only and this clause too:

Aussie Broadband reserves the right, in our sole discretion, to remove your access to this program if you breach our fair and acceptable use policy, or we have otherwise formed the view that you are scamming this program.

          • -1

@mysterytal: Yeh nah, that involves Optus network and forking out $35 extra when the OP deal is FOC if you’re just after a month only

      • I've seen this Felix company has unlimited data, calls and texts for $35 a month.

I'm also currently on a grandfathered plan with Circles.Life that is 100gb and unlimited calls/texts, so would have thought there would be better deals out there now.

    • My bad, deal is meant to be 60GB, I made a mistake.

I know this wasnmy your intention but you helped me spot a mistake

Waiting for ops to successfully convince Boost to finally switch on their eSIM :)

  • How many numbers can one Boost account have?

  • How long until cashback is approved? (what is your actual experience, not the t&c's stated on cash rewards site)

  • Be careful

I’ve purchased a few on the last cashrewards boost deal and they all went through and tracked.

Did one more and got the something went wrong message. Didn’t think much of it, have got them in the past. But this time the money was taken out of my credit card. Didn’t get any confirmation email from boost and did not track with CR. First time this has happened.

Hopefully it stays pending on my credit card and disappears

  • Is the deal still going? Title says: Expired: $12 Cashrewards Cashback.

I currently have 2 boost numbers on the same account, would it still track if I bought another one and activated on a new number?

    • Just tried the code - seems to be expired.

  • Porting from vodafone to boost and when trying to activate on the website, keep getting the error Something went wrong We’re unable to process the request at this time. Whats going on - doesn't give me confidence in their service…

    • Hi! Sorry to hear you're having problems. Please contact us at [email protected] so we can assist you further.

  • I have ordered one on 01/12/2022, received a no-reply email on the same day.
"When will you receive your order?
We'll start working on your order and contact you to clarify details if required. Due to COVID-19 impacts, we're experiencing delays on some orders. We apologise for the inconvenience. We'll send you an email once your order has been shipped with a tracking number. For security reasons, if you've purchased a 12 month expiry SIM, you'll need to show the same ID you used to order online, when accepting your delivery from the courier.
    "
Still nothing since, no shipping confirmation, no tracking.
