Please read the following terms & tips carefully - it will save a lot of questions:

  1. Ensure your Amazon cart is empty before clicking from Cashrewards, as items added prior to clicking will not earn cashback. Items must only be added to cart after clicking from Cashrewards.
  2. During the 2 hour promotional period, 15% cashback for Amazon Australia is capped at $20 in total per member account, irrespective of the number of transactions made. Valid 4:00pm to 6:00pm AEDT Friday 25/11/22.
  3. Purchases paid with gift cards are eligible for cashback.
  4. Purchases paid with any Amazon promotional credit as partial or full payment are ineligible for cashback.
  5. Cashback is ineligible on purchase of vouchers, gift cards, kindle unlimited, audible, mobile apps, recurring subscribe & save items (first order only is eligible), Amazon Prime subscriptions & renewals. Cashback is also ineligible on use of any codes entered manually in Amazon's 'Promotion Code' field, and on items purchased from your Amazon wish list or 'saved for later' list.
  6. Pre-orders are eligible for cashback only if the item is scheduled to be shipped within 60 days of purchase.
  7. Purchases from Amazon US/UK are eligible for cashback provided the transaction is made via Amazon AU.
  8. Your click from Cashrewards must be generated inside the 2-hour window, and purchase must be completed by 6pm AEDT. Return and click through Cashrewards for each new transaction.
  9. Amazon tracking typically takes 1-3 days to report into accounts (Amazon tracking is not instant).
  10. The offer is valid during the promotional period unless withdrawn by Amazon earlier. Amazon reserves the right to cancel, amend or withdraw the offer at any time at its discretion. The offer cannot be used on pre-existing orders with Amazon.
  11. For tracking success, ensure you disable 3rd party plugins (AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole, Honey, etc), VPNs, avoid browsers such as Brave, close any additional browser tabs, and don't click away to other sites looking for codes etc after clicking from Cashrewards as tracking will be lost. Cashrewards must be your last click (not 3-Camels etc). Try our iOS/Android mobile app for great tracking results. Use our Help Centre & Contact form here for any questions or issues.

      • Thx, read that. I don't know until I join Prime if Amazon will automatically reduce the price or stick a code in, hence the question.

Edit: also only mentions codes entered manually.

        • +1

For example the $5 promo credit will be added automatically to eligible orders but will invalidate cashback according to point 4.

          • @ATangk: Yep, that's closer. Doesn't look like that though because it's a 6% discount with a specific ticket price, but maybe they'll simply add a code for the 6%. No big deal because it's only a handful of $. Oddly enough their pre-discount price is already $20 cheaper than the best alternative, probably based on a price many many months ago. Swings and roundabouts.

  • Applied Amazon staff discount still eligible for cash back?

  • Thanks TA

    will get some soundcore q45’s

    Stop the inflation!

  • Does this include "Amazon Warehouse" items?

    • Apart from this

5.Cashback is ineligible on purchase of vouchers, gift cards, kindle unlimited, audible, mobile apps, recurring subscribe & save items (first order only is eligible), Amazon Prime subscriptions & renewals. Cashback is also ineligible on use of any codes entered manually in Amazon's 'Promotion Code' field, and on items purchased from your Amazon wish list or 'saved for later' list.

there appears to be no exclusions on items, just codes.

The item I'm looking at is from their Outlet Store.

      • "Outlet Store" do you mean Amazon Warehouse ?

        • No, "Amazon Outlet Store" is the seller

"Shop discounted overstock products from Amazon Outlet Store"

Outlet store is indicated by an orange square containing the word Outlet.

        • +1

I think this is the outlet store for .au - https://www.amazon.com.au/outlet

After a brief look, I think I still prefer the Warehouse :)

          • +1

@bdl: Had look as well , have to agree with you , the Warehouse does look better.

        • Ha. Didn't even know there was a "Warehouse". Thanks. My item isn't there though.

          • +1

@Igaf: The Warehouse is basically returned items, which vary in quality but in Australia more often than not are just damaged packaging. Great deals when you can find them, and hassle free to return items if you receive them and they're too damaged for your liking.

            • +1

              @bdl: Good info, thank you.

      • Being sold by Amazon au so no exclusion.

  • Butt is clenched for this

    • +1

      don't poop the boot

  • Will I still be eligible if I used Amazon wallet money? They were the gift cards that I have already redeemed

  • Thanks Arse, I'm glad the first subscribe and save shipment is included in this deal.

I'm 1000th upvotes yes! Thanks TA as always!

    • I think this is a new record! I’ve added to the 1200+ upvotes so far!

  • D’oh did the Xmas shopping earlier today and order has been dispatched :-(

  • Does anyone know if there’s a cap on the cashback outside of this period? In other words, if I were to buy something now with the regular/lower cashback rate, could I potentially get back more than $20 than if I waited? The Cashrewards terms and FAQ don’t have the answers I’m looking for unfortunately…

    • +1

See examples P1 of previous uncapped special cashrewards deals. Nothing in their terms indicates caps apply normally. If in doubt use TA's link to send them a query.

    • There is no cap outside 4-6.
So yes, if your cashback total is >$20, you should do it before 4pm or after 6pm.
Don't forget to exclude GST when you do your maths as it doesn't attract cashback.

  • Looking for Apple Pencil 2 and it doesn't seem to be on sale for quite a while on Amazon

Would buying it from Apple and getting the $40 gift card be the way to go?

    • The Apple refurbished area has AP2 for discounted price. Not sure if the gift card promo works though.

  • How is it possible there are so many different answers for the amount to spend to get exactly $20 back?. You'd think maths would be ozbargainers strong point lol.

    • +1

$133.33 ex GST or $146.66 inc GST for $20 cashback.

Math is easy; 20 ÷ 0.15 = 133.33. Cashback is based on price without GST & shipping, so don't forget to factor that in.

  • Any offers on Amazon gift cards. Want to load up some for tomorrow.

  • Thanks TA as always!

  • Thanks TA

Some products have a one use voucher which gives you an extra discount, those products are ineligible, right?

    • +1

      I am wondering same?

  • 20 cap, should be good for toliet paper+paper tower+tissues all together.

  • Will this work on a ring doorbell?

I just ordered but I guess I can cancel and order again

    • Yep, works on all categories.

Thanks. I want to purchase the Samsung smart tag plus but it's only available on US Amazon. How can I utilise this deal when Cashreward only directs me to AU Amazon. Anyone know a work around to purchase on US Amazon with AU Amazon login via Cashreward.

  • Now is to find out how can I get free Prime membership :D

  • +7

i dont understand why " Cashback is also ineligible on items purchased from your Amazon wish list or 'saved for later' list." ?

it is so much convenient to browse now and add to wish list, so tomorrow we can click and add to cart.

  • +1

Trying to understand dot point 5.

Cashback is also ineligible on use of any codes entered manually in Amazon's 'Promotion Code' field, and on items purchased from your Amazon wish list or 'saved for later' list.

Does this mean I simply need to manually search/browse for the product from the Amazon home screen, open the product details page and then Add to Cart from there (i.e. as long as I don’t open the saved item via my Wish List first)?

Or do I need to remove all items from my Wish List first, and then start a new search for the product to buy?

The whole Wish List thing is my way of bookmarking the items I need to buy. If I need to delete all items first then I’ll need to jot them all down in excel beforehand. Will be doing all this on the iPhone so I want to get it right.

Can @tightarse or anyone else with experience confirm what to do please? Thanks for the deal!

    • same with my post. very weird question. i dont think you need to remove your items from there, but you cant select from there. which is weird why we cant ?

    • +6

No you don't need to remove it from your list
but don't add to cart from your wish list
copy the product name, put it in the search box, go to the item page and add to cart from the product page.

      • Any idea why? The real reason behind it not because t and c

        • +1

Real reason is probably so people miss that line, they invalidate a bunch of cashback and it costs Amazon less money for the same number of purchases.

          • @EBC: Sorry not clear my question was why adding from wish list will not track, i mean we start from cashback web, click amazon it register the time, then there are puchases at the end. Not enough?

            • +2

@CyberMurning: I assume the rationale is:

When a person is directed to an item via my affiliate link and they wish list it, the affiliate is tagged to that wish list entry.
Any subsequent puchase originating from the wish list entry would qualify as a purchase originating from that affiliate and not from CashRewards.

  • +1

So pissed that I wont be able to get this cashback :(

    2hour window doesn't suit workers :(

    • +2

can you go to toilet at 4.01pm say oh i had a bad lunch ? but again we cant put stuff on the cart. otherwise just 3 clicks done

      • Save to wish list

        • don't add from wish list but at least you can find things easier
        • But why we cant add from wishlist, what differences that with search and adding manually?

          • @CyberMurning: It needs to track the adding to cart from the actual product pages

Save for later and wishlist shortcuts probably don't have the tracking coded in

        • How about "buy it now" vs "add to cart".

          Is buy it now tracked?

        • That’s what I’ve done… Nivea shaving gel under $3 with S&S!

      • Thanks for suggestion, but cannot really do that, too much pressure etc and best not say any further.

May try to connivence someone else to place order for me, through CR with my amazon account. But dont see much hope in it.

    • +3

True OZB users will call in sick tomorrow or take the day as annual leave

  • +1

    Hi tightarse,

Assume if I share a Prime account with my sister and she buys something using her CR account and I do the same, we both qualify even if purchasing through one Amazon account?

    Thanks

  • Cheers TA! 🍻

  • Might not be fully relevant, but does anyone recommend a travel plug converter from Japanese to Australian plugs? Was planning to utilize the Cashback from Amazon to buy one but there are so many options to choose from

Doesn't have to necessarily be from Amazon, other retail stores work too

  • How about items under the spend $40 get additional 5% off?

  • +5

damn I can't even think of what to get.

    • +1

Heavy is the price of cashback deals.

  • Great, this is when to buy, but what is left to buy?

  • +1

I don't get this upvoting. It is just $20 (and that's if all of the stars align), is it even worth the time?

    • need it for TA to provide more in future ;)

    • its generic and it is now. Im going to get some specific kitchen stuff for my mum. Last time it was on sale had bigger savings but that was 1.5 years ago…

  • +2

I saw some items with "20% voucher applied to one item per order at checkout". Can you please let me know whether it is eligible for cashback? I do not need to enter manually in Amazon's 'Promotion Code' field. Thanks

  • Here we go, wait for 4pm and everything is OOS at 3:59pm.

  • Hey TA, to clarify will CB apply to items moved from "saved for later" list later? As standard CB will render this ineligible:

Items purchased from your Amazon wish list or 'saved for later' list.

  • Would subscribe and save work for 15% cashback?

    • Only the first time.

      • Do you mean no existing subscriptions? Or do you mean you can’t have subscribed and save ever for any products?

I always cancel my S&S every time I’ve taken advantage of the lower price so I don’t have any existing subscriptions.

        • +1

First time for that order. So it’s fine if you have done subscribe and save before.

  • I'm guessing the code "10PRIME" will make it ineligible?

  • -2

So $20 is max per Amazon account? Or i can do multiple transactions of $133 to get multiple $20 cashback?

    • +2

point #2: "capped at $20 in total per member account, irrespective of the number of transactions made"

so don't spend more than $146 or whatever it was in total

    • +1

      per cashrewards account.

  • From TA: Capped at $20 Per Member - I assume of Cashrewards so only once

  • +1

TA is the best OzB Associated member here!

i'm really struggling to find any deals. Pretty ordinary BF this year

    • +1

I'm glad that I'm not the only one thinking it! Maybe it will pickup when the seppos and poms hit Friday later today our time and we get some USA/UK flow through

  • Can somebody please tell me if i buy fire stick 4k max ($49) or any other product during this promotion, would that purchase be counted towards my qualifying purchase of $20 for a new cashrewards account?

  • Can you use gift cards?
