Gumbuya Word are offering free entry to Community Heroes this Saturday & Sunday (12th & 13th) Relevant ID must be presented at the gate upon entry. Tickets can only be booked online (not available at the gate). Community Heroes are defined as…

  • Emergency Services (Police, CFA, Ambulance, SES)
  • Australian Defence Force
  • Doctors & Nurses
  • Teachers & Educational Staff

Community Heroes can also bring along 4 immediate family members for half price. Persons 120cm and taller are $30.50 (Normally $61), 90cm - 120cm are $28.50 (Normally $57) and Seniors 60 & older are $26.50 (Normally $53). Persons Under 90cm are always free. Temperatures are forecast to be 25 & 26 degrees over the weekend.

Terms & Conditions:

  • Tickets must be booked online - not available at the gate.
  • Limit to one booking per person with a max of 4 discounted immediate family members.
  • Limited tickets available
  • Proof of occupation/employment is required to accompany the ticket to permit entrance
  • Ticket permits access to the Waterpark, Rides, and Wildlife sections of the park. Gumbuya World Reserves the right to close the park and attractions at times that are not advertised.

    Saturday the kids have two parties to go to and Sunday I'm working. They should really make this deal long-running if they want emergency services to be able to figure out when the hell we can take advantage of it. 4 days notice, lol

  • Free for immediate family would be a real bargain, this is just enticing "community heroes" to spend money taking their family there when they otherwise wouldn't. Like SirMurduck said above, cheap PR, and a boost to sales on a rainy weekend.
