Casio Analogue Vintage Stainless Steel Watch $17.99 + Shipping (Free with First) @ Kogan

590

Seems like a really cheap watch from Casio. Especially if you have kogan membership for free shipping.
Seems to sell about double the price (eg Amazon).
Might be good for daily or for gifts?

Good deal if you have giant's wrist.

cant imagine every being so broke you have to wear a Kmart watch

the casio from kogan looks ok for less than an ok lunch

        • +3

3 hand movement means it has fake sub-dials.

        • It depends. I usually wear a Galaxy Watch, but when I want to wear a "real" watch I love my $10 Kmart watch (no fake dials, though), although I have other, slightly more expensive (Citizen and similar) watches.

      Ghastly

    • +2

Costs $18, Looks like it’s worth about 18 cents

      • The strap looks like cheap plastichrome

      Hideous. That just looks cheap.

      Kmart one seems looking better.

sure, if your eyes are painted on

      • +1

His eyes are as real as the subdials on his Kmart watch.

        • perfect burn!

the most worthy downvote of my life

    • Looks like it will rust in three weeks.

All the Casio digital watches with metal band used to actually have a plastic watch body with an extremely thin metal plating.

As they are being coy about what the watch body is made of, I suspect this is also a plastic watch.

There is one with better reviews in 19$
I had gone for the one with leather strap. Seems much better.

FYI - The watch case isn't actually stainless steel, only the bracelet is.

    Diameter - 36.4mm.

    • Is the watch case even metal? Casio's metal-looking digital watches used to have a plastic case with an extremely thin plating of metal.

I have ABSOLUTELY no need for this….Adds to Cart

    • +2

adds black dial option to the cart, too.. bye bye another 20 bucks

it adds the watches to the basket or it gets 900 garlic breads again

what's the point of adding this much weight to your wrist?

    • +4

I mean just personally speaking, I need me some decent counter balance when I man handle the ham candle.

Honestly, and speaking as someone who has a couple of mechanical watches…

This is a very good watch if you're just looking for accurate analogue time in a reasonably aesthetically pleasing format, and you're not looking for a new weird personality based on paying for an 18th century way to tell time almost as well as a cheap quartz watch. Just buy this watch, enjoy that it's entirely fit for purpose for so few dollars, and get on with enjoying your life.

If you're confused by this post, check below. The watch posted by OP is quartz movement, and the nerdy/Swiss ones are described as automatic / mechanical movement
