I have another model 65" Hisense (Uled), quite happy with it so far. I assume the Mini Led is better

  • LOOKS LIKE SOME REALLY BAD REVIEWS

I recently had to call the Hisense support line at 4:45 in the afternoon, and got the message that there was a 10 minute wait.

It seems they decided to have an early weekend, so after 5 minutes the message changed to one stating please call back during operating hours, and then hung up.

It seems they decided to have an early mark. The interesting thing is that their support line operates from 8:30am to 7pm, so it was one hell of an early mark.

Warranty claim or technical support needed? If you are after a warranty claim you’ll need to lodge the same claim twice for them to take action. It happened to me that first time I lodged a warranty claim I waited for almost a month no one showed up to assess the fault and I had to lodge the claim again for the assessor to rock up.

      LOL nothing has changed.
Their customer service is about as honest as their old contact centre manager.

Hisense days are over. TCL is the frontrunner now.

I had a Hisense TV die a few months out of warranty. Found their customer service nothing but excellent, they replaced with an equivalent, newer model

@Maths Debater: Maybe, still, had no problems with the customer service.

I think they all have crap service… Went round in circles with samsung for months getting a new "expert" each time. Gave up in the end.

  • Whilst I’m here, can you ozB TV gurus give me a comparative to something like this?

Am in the market for a 65” at around $1k budget? I know it’ll be budget’ish quality, but looking for ozB’s stamp of approval!

Make sure you'll actually be OK with the lower quality of these brand TV's. I was set on buying a highly recommended hisense or tlc 65" a few years ago, till I went instore and saw the difference in picture quality compared the main brands. Not sure if they've improved since then though.
