  No true ozbargainer has payed over $60 for the 4k max or over $45 for the echo dot, so in some ways this is both products bundled at roughly their respective "buy it now sale" price.

    The 40% off code only works for the FireTV by itself not for this FireTV + Echo Dot bundle. That's the better deal. The Echo has been a lot cheaper than $40 and even given away free in the past.

      You are correct. The promo on Amazon was a tad confusing and I saw the Firestick as coming with a bonus echo Dot. I did not realise that was a different link I had to click on for the bundle. Thanks for the clarification

          @alescorpio: Hi, apparently this only works on the firestick max alone and not the firestick max bundle. If you are just after the firestick alone I have another code if this has already been used.

  This is strange, why would they sell this in a bundle if they're not compatible?

  Amazon's Compatibility List shows the 4K Max isn't compatible with the 3rd Gen Echo Dot so Buyer beware.
