    I didn't have a chance to chat with dell support on Friday. I hope they can either send or cancel orders. I hate to wait and don't have a good weekend, although I go to the beach today.

        Prior to this deal; there was no Muzeeb in my life. Now I know what I've been missing out on this entire time.

      • I had a Dell Ultrasharp 27" for 10 years since 2009. My wife plug and unplug the HDMI then half of the panel can't display. I bought Viewsonic 32 for $300. The color definitely not as good as dell. I really want to buy the latest Dell Ultrasharp 32 4k with usb-c, it said has premium black color. Now 38" suddenly come to my life although I don't play games, it will good for movie.

    If this deal comes through, I would like to start the calendar again from this moment, with the terms B.D.D being "Before Dell Deal"; and A.D.D. stands for anno domini (Latin for "in the year of the dell deal).

    Every year on September 16 we would pray to Muzeeb, asking for the deliverance of astounding one day deals.

    This came 1 day after my 12 month price protection expired, but I submitted a claim anyway.

    I reckon I have as much chance of getting that approved as those who ordered getting a delivery. Good luck all!

    These brand experiences stick with you for life. I lined up from 11:30AM through to 8AM and returned to work in the same work clothes the next day. I had a positive story to tell for years and Samsung scored plenty of good PR: Newspaper article

    It seems they do not have sufficient stock for the 360+ orders, hence I'm hoping they cap this "deal" at one per customer so that everyone feels like they've scored whilst halving Dell's losses from professionals.

    My guess for this epic farce is because the price error is made by other HQ (eg Singapore or HK) and Dell Australia does not want to be a "bad guy" to deal with angry customers/ACCC/media etc. That's why the orders are not yet to be cancelled. So the big boss will be the final judge to honor or cancel the orders.

              @OzBerghainer: That's everyone's nightmare, seeing a delivery attempt on Saturday and there is no way to pick it up from AusPost on Sunday, so you have to wait till Monday…

  • What may work in our favour is that the 3821DW was released in 2021 and might be due for a refresh in 2023.

    Daddy said he cannot officially honour this deal because he's beholden to the shareholders.

    However, he would still like to honor the purchases out of his own pocket behind the scenes.

    For this reason, you won't be charged the $249 through normal channels. Just send me the $249 privately (plus your order number), and I can confirm your order for you in the system. Once confirmed, your order will be dispatched within 1-3 business days. Your tracking number will be the same as my bank account number.

    6:25am, mine hasn't been cancelled….yet

    My order was placed just after 8am on D Day. And I didn't go through the whole online chat process. I only ordered one.

    To the people that have had their orders cancelled, can you share some more details? I.e. order time, quantity,if you called/messaged them to change the status.

    • Check the emails. The oder on the website still says received.

        I'm HOPING their honouring like the first X Number of orders…
        But realistically they are probably just taking some time to get back to cancelling everyone's

    I reckon they do this price error deliberately from time to time, so that they can make noise and get your email address kept in their database to spam you with promotion emails . What a doggy tactic

      nah i don't think so….the PR risk isn't worth it….especially when its so easy for you to unsubscribe or even simply NOT tick the "receive marketing emails/newsletters" box when entering your email.

      don't bother, you will be wasting your time.

      for this decision to cancel orders to take this long, it's definitely come from higher up (or atleast had their involvement)…..everybody planning to call is just going to wasting both your own and some poor customer reps time.
