        My take on the T&C is if you have current subscriptions that cancelled/reactivated to get this offer, it won't be eligible.

    Saw this about an hour ago and jumped on it wont sign up for longer then a month as i think Disney + is bang average but for 2 bucks out of pock and 20 bucks back in fly buys why not

    • hoping they aren't going to penalise for cancelling before the next month is debited. I am signing up on Monday (last day of the offer) and will cancel closer to the 4 week period and hope I get the 4000 points, as it says credited within 4 weeks of end of offer.

  • Anyone else have an issue where it's redirecting to the UK site when attempting to sign up? It won't let me enter my Aussie credit card. Maybe I need to clear my cache.

    This must be a mistake in the wording.

    Otherwise, if you have X number of family members (cardholders) within a FB family pool / account, then you could potentially earn X * 4000 bonus points from this offer by having all of your family members sign up.

    • why does it have to be a mistake? As long as said family members all have flybuys accounts and they all sign up with different emails, then I can't see that is a problem?

          Tracked? This isnt cashrewards lol. There is no 'tracking'. The points will appear in your flybuys account within 4 weeks of offer ending. If it doesnt then you can call flybuys (probably wait 30 mins on hold) and get them to investigate.

            • @kampret: I dont know i havent signed up for this offer so i havent gone through the process. I assume you have to input the flybuys number at some point so screenshot every step so you can send it to them if you need to chase it up and they request it?

            @Rain Cloud: When I called recently there was an automated message saying how busy they are and to email [email protected] instead.

            If emailing, need to state your full name, member #, date of birth and address for verification purposes. Attach the offer email, screenshots, etc.

            They try to respond within 5 business days but it took 2 weeks in my case.

      • Correct. FB app doesn't check whether an one time use offer has been redeemed or not.
        Only the EDR app seems to do this.

  • I'm trying to load the app on the Fetch box and getting the following message

    "Sorry something went wrong, please try again later."

    I'm assuming it's a little bit overloaded at this time.

    • I couldn't get it to work on Fetch so dug out the Chromecast and it works on that just fine.

    • Maybe restart Fetch. They already had an offer for 2 months free Disney that is working on mine.

      • I activated the Fetch Disney+ free 2 month offer which is free upto the 30th Sept, and have also received this offer from FlyBuys.
        I was thinking I could cancel on 19th Sep instead and sign up again through FB's and still watch it using the Disney+ app on the Fetch box, but am a bit confused if I would be regarded as an existing customer, or would I Disney+ treat it as a new subscription as it's coming via FlyBuys, and it doesn't matter if I continue to use the Fetch box.

      Update:
      I find out might be because of the ad block app. I use adguard on my phone and desktop edge. That's why I can't see it on both. When I turned it off and the banner showed up. I can see it in my phone's chrome desktop version site and my desktop Edge now.

        Thank you. Tried incognito mode on Chrome browser and used desktop site. That's the only way I could see the banner.

    • I doubt emails will make a difference at all, it's just your flybuys account number linked to Disney plus.

    • T&C's can be found on the signup page, but it says:

      If you sign up to a new monthly Disney+ subscription under this Offer, after your first month, your monthly Disney+ subscription will continue to be automatically renewed for ongoing monthly periods from the next monthly billing date at the then-current monthly retail price (currently AU $11.99 AUD incl. GST/month) unless cancelled prior to renewal. You will not be eligible for the Offer upon subsequent renewals.

      So the answer to your questions is no.

      Go to Profile, and under SUBSCRIPTION, click on MONTHLY. That will take you to a new screen where at the bottom there is a red link to cancel your subscription.

  • I signed up for flybuys, didnt see the offer in the app, then just used the link provided here instead and made the $1.99 purchase.

    Update: I see the banner on the flybuys website (even after I made the purchase) so I assume I'll get it?

        was just thinking the same. Offer says that points will be credited 4 weeks after you sign up, so i'm a little bit skeptical that they will not give you the points just because you cancelled before those 4 weeks, although the details don't mention any minimum time you must be subscribed (just a monthly plan)

    • If you cancel the subscription right away do you still have access for the rest of the month? I know for full priced subscriptions they let you keep it until it runs out, just doesnt renew. I also know that for free trials (ie Stan) if you cancel before the end of the trial it ends immediately, not end of the month..

    4weeks is to get the data back from Disney and Verify + Issue the points. Offer is to let people experience Disney+.

    Nothing to do with right away cancellation, or they would have mentioned it clearly. Even your 4weeks spend this much and get 10,000 points don't show up immediately.

      Also to be noted, cancelling only ends the ongoing payment obligation not the current month that has been paid for.

      • Ha, it means it wasn't complete…when I was logged in on my phone on the new Disney+ profile/email, there was nothing under Account at all!

        I managed to pay the $1.99 by logging in via laptop instead of my phone, first thing it said was "complete the sign up process" or something similar.

        My guess is because I pay using Google Play annual subscription it was getting confused…

    • The terms & conditions in the email that they sent out don't appear to say things such as the offer being specific to a person, so it's possible you might get the points, as long as you meet the other conditions (mainly about not already having a Disney+ subscription):

      Offer valid only for eligible new and returning Disney+ subscribers with a Flybuys account. Existing subscribers to Disney+ will not be eligible for the offer. To subscribe to Disney+ and create a new Disney+ account, you must be over 18+ years old, an Australian resident, and must provide valid payment details (credit card or PayPal account) to facilitate the renewal payment after the initial monthly Disney+ subscription expires.

      Eligible subscribers must be based in Australia at time of signing up and must access the Flybuys Disney+ website geolocated to Australia, via the Flybuys Disney+ Day email (eDM), or through associated Flybuys Disney+ Day advertisements. Cancelled, reactivated, or renewed current subscriptions will not be eligible to participate in this offer.

        Why? What's the advantage?

        • If you only have one credit card but multiple flybuys accounts with this offer incase you're worried the offer is limited to once per credit card or if youve signed up to Disney before with that credit card.
          Also, if you use one with a few dollars left incase you forget to cancel subscription to not get charged for the second month

    • done that with 3 accounts, no issue so far. You can even add +alias on your gmail so you don't even need to worry about creating multiple email.
