    For most of Google’s phones, the only perk for free storage is unlimited backups of compressed photos. The renamed “Storage Saver” tier offers backups at up to 16MP with compression that cuts down on the overall size of the image. Generally, these photos drop to just 1-2MB when compressed.

    Google offers this storage tier for free on Pixel 3a, Pixel 4, Pixel 4 XL, Pixel 4a, Pixel 4a 5G, and Pixel 5. The offer is active for the life of the device. Any original quality backups from these devices, though, counts toward your account storage quota.

    All of them have unlimited saver storage, until they remove it.
    Only pixel 1 has unlimited high quality storage for the life of the phone

            @iNeedMoreMoney: $250 is stupidly high for a SD 821. At one point Pixel 1s were available for less than $100 refurbished from reptuable dealers.

    They only have a single physical sim, but you can always switch between the SIM and an e-SIM easily enough. Running Telstra e-SIM in my 4a5g, have occasionally switched to a physical SIM when travelling.

    Don't need a dual sim anymore, use esim…. I've got multiple e-sims on my pixel. Great for travel.

  Pixel 5 battery is great with new Android 13. Would recommend it.
