2.75% Variable Fees for Non-Store Sellers @ eBay Australia (Activation Required)

280

Found this today, not as nice as 0% but this isn't eBay Plus only and limited to 5 listings.

The standard eBay seller fee is ~13%.

What is the Promotion?

Eligible Sellers receive a flat 2.75% variable fees (incl. GST) (component of Final Value Fees) on Eligible Items that are newly listed between the time they register to participate in this Promotion and prior to the end of the Promotion Period (“Promotion”).

“Eligible Items” means items that are listed on eBay.com.au that are:

  • auction or fixed price listings; and

  • not excluded under these terms and conditions.

Eligible Items will only receive a flat 2.75% variable fee (incl GST) until the listing renews, whether by auto-renewal or because the listing is GTC. After this, standard fees will apply.

Final Value Fees are the selling fees charged on the sale of an item, calculated as a percentage of the total sale amount paid per item (item price plus postage and handling charges) called a ‘variable fee’, plus a fixed order fee of $0.30 (incl GST for non-store subscribers). More information about eBay selling fees, with or without an eBay store subscription, can be found here.

If I accept this will the 0% fees one still work?

    • +5

I have the 5 from the other offer.

Considering this one is one-month only and ebay always screw up the offers I am not going to take the risk!

      • I will investigate this deal once I have used the 5 free ones, im not taking the risk of losing them

      • I'm in the same boat.

I would say it's a gamble, I don't doubt one of them will trigger but I have no idea which.

Perhaps you can run out the 0% one first?

Yes i sold an item and I accepted both offers. It used the 5 free listings offer first

  • Offer is by invitation only and I didn't get an invite to the party.

  • Wow for once I am eligible.

Please be aware that manually ended and relisted items are not eligible, I just sold a low value item and was charged full value fees.

Using 'sell similar' instead takes a little effort, but should work.

  • I can now also confirm that using 'sell similar' works.

  • I used sell similar option and eBay still charged full fees . Contacted eBay they told me that sell silmar from other seller ‘s listing counts as new fresh listing , sell similar from own listing count as relist 😩😩😩

    • It worked fine for me. I ended the listing, used sell similar and got the promo.

I think it's just eBay CS giving you the run around to not credit you, they do it all the time. Chances are if it didn't work this time it won't even for brand new listings, but in that case at least CS can't BS you. Selling promos not working for people isn't new, there's a few in the comments every time they're posted here, eBay has some technical issues to work out.

      • Its been like pulling teeth getting this one honoured each listing 🤣
