AINOL NOVO7 Tornados 8GB ARM Cortex A9 1.0GHz Amlogic8726-M3L 1GB DDR3 = $85.30 Posted

Due to the recent release of dual core chips in some of the newer Chinese Android-based tablets hitting the market, the price of single cores is dropping fast.
I think this is a very good deal for the price but I will let you be the judge.

For a difference of $10(higher and lower) you can get these other two machines which have lower or higher specs(respectively). I personally think the Ramos is a bargain at $95 and looks like a premium product and has a nice display panel. The Boxchip is also great as a budget machine, if you don't mind having less RAM and ROM that the other two. They all feature the Mali400 GPU so will be great for HD movies and 3D games.

Other great bargains include :
BOXCHIP A13 Cortex A8 1GHz Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich Tablet PC with 7-inch Capacitive Screen and G-sensor for $75.

and :
RAMOS W6HD Cortex-A9 1GHz Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich Tablet PC with 7-inch Capacitive Touch Screen and G-sensor for $95.

Unlucky. I can see how having to deal with an online company for warranty support can be a bit of a hassle with these things. Furthermore, Price Angels is an intermediary, so the product needs to be sent back from them to the supplier which would take even longer and could complicate things. Tech support is also non-existent with these products, you are on your own with these things and they often come shipped lacking updated software or essential apps. However, for an tech enthusiast like myself, these prices are simply irresistible and I find it enjoyable setting them up and getting it customised to my preferences, which may take some work but is worth it.

Therefore I would say that purchasing any of these chinese tablets is recommended for power users only. General non-techy consumers beware!

      • maybe just my luck, charged it for a day battery never went past 8%, as soon as i turn of power from wall socket, tablet switches off. other issues too would reset by itself after minute or so (even with plug in).

By then had enough and put everything in the box.

I bought a Ainol Novo 7 Paladin 4 months ago. It worked perfectly well. Light weighted, long lasting battery, and runs fast. I have a Acer A501. But I like the Ainol more because it light and easy to carry.

    • I bought an Ainol Novo 2 months ago and after installing a CFW, it works much better than my expectation. Beautiful screen and decent capabilities.

Definitely did not regret that purchase.

        He gets by.

  • are u a rep?

    • No, but I would like to be. PA have great prices for tablets and it gets me all hot and excited.

      • ok sorry my bad, just saw u posted quite a few "deals" from PriceAngel that's all…. :)

        • +1

But in all honestly, I find there prices are far more responsive and flexible(i.e decreases) to changes in market conditions, where some other e-tailers such as DX keep them virtually fixed price which equals overpriced. Tech prices change rapidly.

  • can you guys recommend a 6 or 7" android tab with bluetooth inbuilt?

    • +1

Wait to see if it's featured in his next daily deal tomorrow :)

  • The Ramos is a good deal - I wouldn't get less than 1024x600 anymore.

    • Ramos in my memory was one of the major brands in china. my first/only mp3 player was Ramos.
      they should be good.

AINOL is a less known brand, but looks not bad.

BOXCHIP…never heard of, but i did not know ainol until one day one guy posted a deal here.

      • Aren't you the party pooper!
They certainly aren't old… I think you are the one who is behind the times…

        • HAHA sorry everytime we got an Ainol product, without fail at least one person makes the joke…finding them getting a bit cheesy now.

Since when is two better than one with Ainol?

  • has anyone else bought off priceangel?
how is the shipping like, etc?

    • i am interested in warranty?

      • "1-year manufacturer's warranty: this warranty is offered directly by the manufacturer. Should the item become defective within the manufacturer's warranty period (physical damages and damages caused by incorrect usage excluded), customers may send the unit back to PA's office. PA will help forwarding the item to the manufacturer for repair or replacement, and will look after the progress."

Seems like a great deal but Capacitive touch screen isn't my thing. I've tend to break devices with capacitive touch screen rather than resistive touch screen.

    • What the hell? Resistive is very bad for tablets and obsolete now. Are you dropping your tablets on the floor and then bludgeoning them with a sledgehammer???

      • Apologies - got the two type mixed up. Capacitive was the better one. Should've checked which one was which.
