@Korban Dallas Sadly not anymore for a while now. Since I got a job I spend most of my day working, travelling to work or sleeping/napping. In a typical day: 8 hrs work, 3 hrs total to and from work, 4 hrs nap after work, and 3-6 hours sleep at night. The rest of the hours are dinner, with the family, stock trading, etc and of course OzB when I have the time. I no longer have the freedom I used to have when I was jobless, and with this limited time I have go on ozb or Amazon whenever I get the opportunity. I even have to go to the toilet at work to buy some time to post. @USER DC can relate.
@Nom: I wake up at 4am as my work shifts are 5:30am-1:30pm. And with the work I do I get home extremely exhausted and sleepy, as I’ve been sleeping at 12am lately and getting 4hrs sleep everyday. It’s bad for my health I know 😔 @Nom

Issue is that most motherboard only has 1x USB 3.0 header, so you would be sacrificing the front USB-A for USB-C

I've had a few late Amazon deliveries, one last weekend turned up at about 9.30pm.
The Fast Horse Express guys are pretty dedicated.. never heard of them before but started getting some Temu and Aliexpress stuff delivered by them, had the same guy a few times and he was delivering at 11:30pm. Another guy delivered around 10:30pm. (Maybe they have day jobs and deliver afterwards)

Was 4XL when brand new, used so good the size went up an XL.
I got some Dickies shorts labelled 38 on the listing then they arrived as 44. But if you drill into the listing they show up as 44 after sifting through the info.
I think their returns sorting is poor.
I'm not sure what goes on with their warehouse sometimes. I have gotten items that are clearly wrong and have returned them only to see what looks like the same item back for sale in the warehouse.

is the warehouse mostly for used items or clearnace new items go there as well ?@Stealthzor: I don't think any items are 'used' as such, maybe some returns, but returns should be as new. However it's mostly a mix of short expiry and damaged packaging/box. If there is actual damage to the item like a cracked cover or ripped pages it will be listed in the item condition (with games or cds or books).
@hamza23: Some returns are dodgy, where they've pinched something or swapped out the product.
I bought a Dahua camera listed as "Used - Very Good - Item will come in original packaging. Packaging will be damaged."
When it arrived packaging was perfect, in fact everything inside looked untouched. Turns out previous buyer pulled apart the camera, swapped out actual camera part with an inferior model (leaving the correct model label intact on the frame) and theirs had faulty POE (I was able to power via 12V which is when I saw the different model number in the settings plus it wasn't default and still had their settings in it)Of course, no real risk just a little inconvenience.

@spackbace: Good good. You have to ask them for the refund because you don’t know if the item is indeed late or actually missing. In my case they refunded me hundreds of dollars worth for several items because the tracking shows it hasn’t moved for an entire week (which you assume would be missing by then). Now it’s 2 weeks and still same thing. I did however receive a text from the courier that all Amazon deliveries are being delayed due to a surge in orders and they are clearing a huge backlog. @ozbs25: No mostly 935 and some 920 all in orange. The yellow ones were 909 and a bit small for my purposes.
For most of my issues it might just be something as silly as a customer rep pressing the wrong button when dealing with a different issue. Apparently on their end they can see delivery dates and tracking numbers. All I see is the refund screen. Most of the refunds are related to purchases made during a mad rush on Monday. Purchases before have arrived, and purchases after have shipped normally.
Basically, I have to wait to see if my orders arrive. If anything doesn't I'll have to deal with it later. There may be at least one order in that category from earlier.

@deal-cracker: I don't know if there is a best time. I've only spoken to them if I've had issues. Haven't had many so I basically just contact them as soon as I notice something is wrong.

You can buy a nice dog bed at costco for around $70 that will last so much longer than other beds I've seen. They really are worth the extra. I only posted the one above as people are really into squishmallows, I know our grandkids have a few. It looks like it's sold.
The costco dog beds, while a humans find them nicer, dogs go through them within a month. I bought 6 of them when they were on special for 19.97.. and each one lasts under a month.. the kmart ones last 3 months or more

They don’t sell prescription mental health medications here.

@batflaps: Unfortunately vyvanse at various strengths has stock issues until at least March next year.
Your doctor is unable to prescribe you schedule 8 medication ie stimulants unless they obtain authority to do so and it is recommended and approved by your psych.
Your gp may be able to prescribe you the non stimulant adomoxetine which is a 2nd line medication for treatment of adhd.
There may also be other medications that could treat your symptoms that a gp can prescribe as well as off label use of other medications.
It's best discussed with your gp as they may be able to help. You don't know if you don't ask.
I genuinely hope you are able to get the help and treatment you need and find something that works for you.
@dazza826: If he has Schizoaffective disorder he needs to see his psychiatrist/mental health team to change medications. You shouldn’t really give him advice regarding changes to medication on a forum it’s very dangerous

I buy a lot of things that are repackaged or with damaged boxes or whatever.
I bought a board game "Used - Like New". It came with the shrink wrap already torn off. All the cards inside had already had all the shrink wrap torn off those. I had to count all of the cards to make sure they were all there. They were not. Since then I've been hesitant to purchase board games Used - Like New.
What do you guys think? If someone bought a board game tried it out and didn't like it and put everything back in and returned it in immaculate condition with all the parts there, do you think it should be classed "Used - Like New"? Do you think someone took the change of mind returns thing too far?
@ozbs25: I think whoever listed it shouldn't have said Used - Like New. I'd have returned it if it wasn't complete and in like new condition.

If by Amazon's grading Used Like New can include games with the shrinkwrap missing as long as the game is complete then I guess it did look Like New. Condition seemed like new. It looked exactly like the picture on the listing. Problem was not all the cards were there. I don't think they have the time to count all the cards. I mean there were a tonne of cards in there.
My opinion I guess it should be similar to clothes that are returned without tags, or look like they have been tried on. If the shrinkwrap is not intact then it should at the very least be dumped down to very good and state that the shrink wrap has been removed.

My first post here. :-) I have been keeping eye on Macbook Pro deals M1/M2/M3 and finally purchased this. Only 4 stocks left as at 15-Dec 7 am. From my research, M1 with good RAM is good enough for most tasks .. M3 Pro has little bit edge on 4K video editing etc but thats not my use case for now.
Thats expensive considering its M1. Equivalent to 1K windows laptop i guess.

Did you get JB's cover or Apple Care? Seems the price is similar, but I wouldn't touch JB's "extended warranty" (just knowing how dodgy retailers' "extended warranty" can be) - telling you in case you can still resign.
The said even if a key stops working you can get a replacement, I was sold. I have JBhifi extended warranty on everything I buy from them.
@lostboy: I wouldn't trust "them" saying things, and wouldn't pay for any extra cover from merely a retailer (ie. not the manufacturer), which covers are built only to get money off you on the spot - like all those extras that JetStar shoves down your throat when you just try to finalise purchasing a ticket. but I do hope you checked the papers for it and it's all good.
It's just that Apple has its own, probably more trustworthy, cover; potentially at a similar price.

Yeah, that machine is probably just a part of the pricing strategy. Once you've accepted the 2699, another 300 is much easier. Realistically, they should probably just start at $2,999.

Been finding dog Greenies pretty hit and miss. Some batches have an off smell and brown growth randomly on it, other batches are perfectly fine. Tried from Amazon, Petbarn, Woolies - all have the same issue on and off.

From your experience do you know if the 50% coupons ever reset?
Ordered when it was 50% off without lightning deal back on 2nd Dec and now it has been on lightning deals multiple times but haven't been able to get it for $0.97 as the 50% coupon no longer appears.
Don't think it ever resets as the seller has it limited to once per customer. The coupon is set to expire 19 Feb, so they might reissue one then 😂
The coupons never reset. They either end manually by the seller or end automatically after the end date set by the seller.
We’ll need to wait for either of the above to happen and then for a new coupon to be created so we can hop back on to the deal again.

Bosch Blue (professional) is very good, my experience with Bosch Green (home and garden) was about a decade ago and it was somewhere around Ozito-Ryobi quality.

I have a Bosch Aquatak 125 and it has served me well for my uses (car washing, power washing pavers, shower screen cleaning, etc.). Though it has only used it less than 10 times in the past 2 years.
Along with a Bosch blue 18V power drill and an 18V vacuum – which has seen loads of use recently for various DIY projects around the house. Both have never skipped a beat.
However, I do have an IXO 6 small cordless screwdriver which recently died – I suspect that it's a battery issue.
